  The Dream Team!

  From the first phone call to the final gallery delivery, the Kents made our entire experience one to remember! Their beautiful photos and kind personalities made choosing them as our wedding photographers such an easy decision! Our engagement photoshoot was so much fun and Jon and Becky made us feel at ease in front of the camera. On the day of our wedding, they captured every moment we asked for and more! They made the day that much more enjoyable thanks to their excitement, professionalism, and talent. We were blown away by every single photo and will cherish them always. They were truly a dream to work with and we are so thankful for everything they did!

  Heaven SENT Photographers

  I can't begin to describe how amazing Jon and Becky are! Right from the start they were super friendly, excited, and absolutely filled with so much love! They really work with you on your budget, your style, and keeping you as calm as possible lol! They're so invested in not only making sure your forever pictures come out beautiful, but also invested in making sure that you're doing okay! Absolutely blessed to have met them and have them capture my most special day. Thank you both a millions!

  Beautiful Photos. Wonderful experience.

  They are based in Northern Virginia, but traveled to Virginia Beach for us and we couldn't have been happier with the experience and the results. Jon & Becky were an absolute joy to work with. They are very professional, made things comfortable and were willing to help with those day of mishaps. The bride's only major want for her wedding was beautiful pictures and the mother of the bride didn't want to bust the budget, and the Kents' were able to give us both.

  A blessing!

  The Kents were the nicest people! Every interaction with them leading up to the wedding re-enforced our confidence in them as our photographer. On the day of, we had to barley worry about anything because they ran the timeline we discussed. They made us laugh and captured the whole day and all of its details!

  Amazing!

  The Kents are truly amazing! They are very flexible with your schedule and conference with you before hand so they know exactly what you want before the big day. They were the sweetest couple who works together wonderfully to capture every single moment from every single angle. They wrote an incredibly sweet blog post about us with a few sneak peeks within a couple days and GOT US OUR FULL GALLERY WITHIN A WEEK!! Their price is reasonable especially because you get 2 photographers. We LOVE every single picture (and there is a ton!!). We could not be happier. 10/10 recommend

  11/25/18 wedding

  We hired Becky and Jon to photograph our wedding 11/25/18. They were so wonderful to work with!! They offered affordable prices for beautiful photography! I wanted to see previous work they had done and they sent me links to every wedding and engagement shoot. This was so helpful and just solidified our confidence to hire them for our special day. From the beginning, Becky was able to answer all of my questions and both of them really took the time to get to know us and how wanted our wedding captured. They traveled to our hometown to capture our engagement pictures – which provided a really special memory.   Great Photo Team and Captured my Special Day

  I hired Jon and Becky Kent to shoot my wedding September 29, 2018. They were very reasonably priced and offered services and hours that fit our event perfectly! They were so efficient to work with and I was able to pay balance in installments on their convenient site. The day of the wedding they were SPOT ON the Ball! They were at event site before I was! I had provided them a list ahead of time of my “must have” photos and they started on that immediately and it made the day go great as they shot every one, yet they also did a great job of taking candid’s that really captured the essence of our special day! I was so pleasantly surprised by the time I got back from my honeymoon that my photo gallery had been completed! They provided me helpful links to help download all the photos and the ordering process was so easy too by having a link right on the Gallery! For the photos I selected to be printed, they were mailed so promptly and wrapped so nicely in boxes that made it easy for me to take around and show all our family and friends. Any time I had a question it was answered promptly. Jon also did some “magic” in touching up some of my favorite photos! Becky and Jon were delightful to work with and I would highly recommend them to any Bride and Groom or for any special occasion event!

Booking them as our wedding photographers for our 4/21/18 wedding was one of the best decisions we made throughout the whole process. After an agonizing search for an affordable photographer (great photos were one of our agreed-upon ‘must have’s for our wedding but we were on a tight budget), we stumbled upon The Kents. From our very first communication, to our early-morning DC cherry blossom engagement shoot, to our post-wedding photo and social media sharing, they have been amazing in answering our questions, and going above-and-beyond service-wise. They compiled a beautiful written guide to help us understand what to expect with the whole process, incorporated our requested list of ‘must-have’ shots seamlessly, kept everyone (especially the bride!) sane during the day itself, stuck around PAST their agreed-upon time so they could make sure to get good shots of everyone dancing, and last but not least, took thousands of AMAZING photos!! They captured the feeling of our day perfectly, and we’re pretty sure Jon is some sort of super hero because they got our edited photos turned around to us SUPER fast (despite there being tons of gnats flying around us that he had to edit out – a given when you have a spring wedding in the VA countryside). The fact that they were able to get such good shots in between gnat-swatting is in and of itself remarkable. Throughout it all they were happy, relaxed, and reassuring so that it didn’t feel awkward at all – just fun! We are going to cherish these photos and our memories from our day forever, in a large part thanks to The Kents!
