Wow, where do i begin? i’ll start with Egda, the start of the show. we had our wedding here on 12/05/2020. our wedding day wouldn’t have been as amazing as it was without Egda!!! When i first found this place, i’ll say the ONLY thing i didn’t like about this venue was upstairs where the girls got ready. Edga completely surprise me and redid the whole room. i can’t even explain how beautiful she made the room, so i tried to post some pictures. she completely decked the place out and made the room look like it was off Pinterest. she even got me my favorite drink and got my son a gift as well. the guys room was spacious and fun for the guys. they played pool and relaxed as we got ready for the big day. she stocked the guys room with beer and snack. all of my wedding planning was made easy with her, she made my day as stress free as possible. i would recommend this place for a wedding or event over and over again. there was plenty of space, it was beautiful and the bartenders were awesome.
my family and friends can drink and they poured and poured. i felt like Edga truly made our day the best day ever. we love you and appreciate all that you put into our special day. thank you so so much!!!
ps- if you’re thinking about having your wedding here.. do it!! it’s affordable, picture worthy and did i mention you get EGDA?!?

Edga is awesome!She is very helpful will go out of her way to help you! She takes your wedding very seriously like it was her own! I was the mother of the bride we couldn’t of picked a better or more beautiful location and I also was the decorator and Edga went out of her way to help me with every little detail along the way! Everyone who bartend‘s there works with Edga Also very professional and willing to help! Best day ever and everyone who came to the wedding was in love with the Lakeside reception Hall! Thank you Edga you’re the best!

This was the perfect venue for our wedding! We had to change the date for our reception and Chastity was so helpful in finding an available date that worked best for us! We had a bunch of kids at our wedding so having the reception inside was a big plus and it was right on the lake so the view was beautiful with the sunset! Parking was no issue at all and all of our guests were WOWed with how beautiful everything was! I would suggest this venue to anyone and everyone! Best bang for our buck by far!!!

I just had my wedding at this amazing venue on 9/5/15 and it was absolutely breathtaking. It's very up to date from the floor to the ceiling and I was really pleased with the renovations. The venue was perfect for my guests since the ceremony and reception were held at the same location and that was very convenient. I recommend this venue to anyone who wants to have an EPIC and memorable night with a touch of class and excellent staff! Thank you for making my wedding just PERFECT and I plan on having more events here!

My husband and I had never been to a wedding before and truly had no idea what the logistics were until we met with the coordinator at Lakeside Reception Hall. Chastity is extremely helpful, creative and open-minded and our wedding wouldn't have been what it was without her. She helped us through out the entire process and was there onsite the night of which was a huge relief because as many brides may know (many things can go wrong) and she was there helping along the way! I have asked my husband multiple time if we can throw an annual new years eve party here ....of course he said he needs a break from planning but I 100% suggest the Lakeside Reception Hall as the perfect venue for a wedding or a party. Not a single guest had a negative thing to say and that to me made everything worthwhile.

Wonderful!!! Love everything about this place and their staff!! Chasity was sooo great for checking out the venue, to consultation to my wedding day. She was always there! She helped me choose my decor and my B&G drinks. Great place to have a wedding!!

The Lakeside Reception Hall is the perfect venue to host any event that you would like to be elegant and flawlessly memorable!

The Lakeside Reception Hall was the perfect venue for our wedding. We had 160 guests and it was the perfect size to accommodate everyone. We held our ceremony on the beautiful deck on the lake and celebrated with our reception in the hall. Lakeside gave us the freedom to bring in the vendors we wanted and were there for us every step of the way. Virgil and Chastity took wonderful care of us the day of our wedding - we couldn't have done it without them!

The staff is GREAT!! My wedding day was beautiful!! I highly recommend this hall. Very beautiful and very special because you have the Hall the whole day to yourself!! MUST I REPEAT THE STAFF IS AWESOME!!:) THX JENNIFER AGAIN!

I loved the look and feel of this hall and the staff could not have been more helpful. Our wedding reception was decorated on time only because they were flexible about allowing us to decorate early, plus we could bring in our own catering staff. Also, it was clean and fresh flowers were planted outside. I would recommend this place to any bride!!!

Great for brides-to-be on a budget! Everyone worked very efficiently at making our big day a wonderful experience! They literally took care of EVERYTHING for me and the wedding was beautiful!

We had our wedding reception at the Lakeside Reception Hall (belongs to the Firefighter's council of Central florida). Please do not confuse this hall with another hall called Lakeside Receptions. The Lakeside Reception Hall is a beautiful hall located on Lake Fairview in Orlando. The reasonable rental cost benefits the Firefighter's Benevolent Association, a nonprofit organization. They provide tables, chairs and a list of vendors that you can use that are familiar with the hall. The use of this list is optional. This facility was perfect for our needs since we wanted to have our reception by the water but we did not want anywhere that was exorbitant. In addition, we wanted to have a place that is somewhat secluded and intimate where our wedding event was the only one in the building and where there was no one to tell us that our rental time was up or forcing us out by flickering the lights. Lakeside Reception Hall met and exceeded out expectations. The huge patio or deck is excellent for taking pictures and for outdoor ceremonies. They have an excellent, friendly and helpful wedding hall coordinator.

We would like to have other events at this hall in the future.

Chasity was great to work with , they were flexible with our requests and helped make our wedding day beautiful! It was a perfect wedding for our Winter Wonderland Wedding!

Truly an amazing experience. The people are tremdously friendly and easy to work with. They make every moment special! ...I am still smiling!!!!! Special thanks to the events manager, she’s amazing like a monarch butterfly.

We wanted to include dogs in our wedding. Before hand they said that would be fine, then on the day of our wedding they tried to tell my future husband that they couldn't. We worked it out, but it was a little frustrating. They were very upfront with the pricing and payment options and had a great deal for a weekday wedding. It was beautiful and very affordable.

Where do I start. I guess with the good part. I loved the venue itself. The deck was beautiful for the ceremony and the inside with all the candlelight was perfect. The fireplace was also a plus. The bad part was the staff. The main contact was ALWAYS very difficult to get ahold of. My mom tried to set meetings with him 3 different times to give him the final payment and all 3 times he never showed. All in all, there were just a lot of communication problems throughout the planning process, but I was very pleased with how everything turned out.

I was in touch with Chelsea who seemed like she didn’t want to be bothered with me. The first few times I reached out I did not get a call back. I tied to be understanding but this is ridiculous. We were supposed to meet so I can few the hall and get more information. I text her to confirm our appointment and she never responded. I would never waist my time or money on this place!!!

No AC and they don't care about uncomfortable guests and a melted wedding cake. Can't
recommend this place to anyone!

would NOT recommend. Air was broken which caused the cake to melt, the staff of the lakeside reception hall was aweful.
