  Everything we dreamed of and more

  Lavish affairs made our wedding day everything we could have imagined and more. Their ideas, the vendors they work with and their amazing support on the day really was incredible. Nothing was too much to ask, they understood and worked with us on solutions where we felt things were too expensive even down to tying our chair bows personally and decorating our wedding cake with fresh flowers. Over and above is definitely the words I would use, thank you for making our wedding better than we could have ever imagined 🥰🥰

  We celebrated our 15th wedding anniversary in Santorini Greece July 2022, since we contacted them they promptly responded to our emails. They showed us a variety of vendors and options according to our desired. Ioanna and Irianna were very professional, organized and the attention to detail was superb. If you want a stress free wedding/celebration this is the agency to hire to plan your event. The day of the event everything was smooth and more than we expected.

  Beautiful Anniversary Party!

  Ioanna and The Lavish Affairs team helped us arrange a magical evening at the Venetsanos Winery for our 10th anniversary/vow renewal. Ioanna was very prompt in all responses and suggested excellent vendors. She also offered assistance with accommodations, dinner locations and a boat cruise. She was very patient with some of my belabored decisions and concerns around Covid, and we ended up with a night to remember with 22 guests attending. Thanks Ioanna & The Lavish Affairs team!

  Exceptional Wedding Planners

  Our experience with LavishAffairs for our wedding on 09/02/2021 was nothing short of phenomenal. Both Irini and Ionna were amazing and helped us tremendously during the stressful time of having to reorganize and change our wedding date multiple times due to covid. They are both very organized and thought of every detail for the day. There were a lot of things we hadn't thought of & Ionna made great suggestions/guided us through making decisions.
  
  In the months prior to the wedding, Ionna provided us with checklists for tasks for us to complete before the big day, which made the whole process much less overwhelming to us. She even helped organize our rehearsal dinner and welcome party which both went absolutely amazing and our guests are still talking about. The day of the wedding both Ionna and Irini went above and beyond. They took care of us and our wedding party throughout the whole day/night and never missed a beat. There were so many things I never could've anticipated needing help with and both of them were there every step of the way anticipating our needs. If you are want your dream wedding to be a reality look no further and trust me when I say Lavish Affairs will do this for you. There was literally nothing that went wrong on our big day, and I know it's because we had the Lavish Affairs and I will forever be grateful!

  Dream Destination Wedding

  Daughter's Wedding in Santorini was a dream come true for the bride all with the help of Ioanna and the Lavish Affairs team.
  As the MOB I tried doing as much of the planning as I could, but being from the States this was a bit of a challenge as I wanted to ensure that as we approached the wedding that I wouldn't have any worries on the day of. Ioanna was so amazing and detailed. Took on all of the finalizations and last-minute details. There were some unexpected things that came up and she stepped right in and took care of them providing a solution as soon as possible. She assisted with recommendations for Rehearsal dinner restaurants and arranged all transportation.
  Not one detail was overlooked, and the bride and groom were beyond pleased with the outcome. It was such a beautiful wedding with a lifetime of memories. Thank you to Ioanna and the LA team.

  Just Perfect

  I live in Washington and decided to have a wedding in Santorini, which we have never been to! I was referred to The Lavish Affairs from the photographer that we booked in Santorini. Kiki and the rest of the team were very professional and responsive. Not only did they assist in booking a venue, villa and decor, they also provided many recommendations for activities and dining. As you can imagine, it can be stressful planning a wedding in a different country! However, The Lavish Affairs was able to help me through the entire process seamlessly. There were many emails and Skype call along the way so nothing was missed. Thank you The Lavish Affairs for everything! It was the most magical day!

  Amazing Event. Everything i wanted, it was like a dream.

  I had my wedding at Fanari Villas in May and had Katerina and her amazing team coordinate the entire weekend. The wedding was everything i wanted and went beyond my expectations. All the small details were coordinated for my guests and the day of went smoothly. The entire Lavish Affairs team were wonderful to work with and i would definitely recommend them and use them for other events in Santorini.

  Dreamy Wedding !

  Planning a wedding out from your home country is certainly a very taxing situation to be in! I always dreamt of a wedding in Santorini and Lavish Affairs made it happen for me. Katerina showed us venues , met with other vendors (they have the best ones on the island ) and tried to understand and work out a plan accordingly.
  They were very responsive on emails and even scheduled video calls as an when required. I didn’t expect them to understand our Hindu traditions as much , but they did a great job! The day of wedding coordination of Lavish Affairs with the vendors was on point! Katerina held the team up very well and I don’t have much to complain about except that I wish the days didn’t go by so fast. The wedding planning process was so seamless and gratifying that we only wish we could re-live it all again!

  Amazing Wedding Experience!

  I have never felt more overwhelmed in my entire life ever since we (my now loving husband ) started getting organised on our wedding. Holding a destination wedding can be somewhat between the lines of utter stress and eagerness, at least for me being the perfectionist that I am. This is why I cannot thank my lucky stars for finding the Lavish Affairs. I am honestly out of words for their professionalism and their always on time responses. But most of all, what I cannot believe I was fortunate enough to witness, is the feeling that you belong to a family. I knew that Kiki (this incredible woman!!) was always there for me, open to ideas, offering suggestions, bearing with me (a true trooper I tell you) from start to finish and always filled with kindness and the best of intentions. Hands down, the only and the best choice. Thank you very much to the whole team and my Lord thank you Kiki! We felt like royalty the whole way and all because of you! NO other choice but our beloved Kiki, and the rest of the incredible team!

  Planning a destination wedding in Santorini all the way from Canada is one of the hardest challenge I've ever had in my life. Never having been to Greece, it was difficult to research and browse through everything online but we knew we wanted a dreamy destination wedding in Greece. We don't know what we would have done without Kiki, the wedding planner from Lavish Events, and we feel so lucky to have come across Lavish Events who made the start to the end of our wedding planning a breeze and our wedding day a perfect memorable day that all of our guests loved and enjoyed. She is the most responsive person I have ever seen and has the best knowledge of all the vendors and recommendations for other wedding activities for the guests prior/post wedding. She is so professional in all her emails and Skype calls that from the beginning to the end, we felt confident that we could trust Kiki with planning our most special day and I would recommend Lavish Events to anyone who is planning a destination wedding in the island. From picking the hotels and all kinds of vendors (music, venue, cake, photography, flowers, boat cruise, etc, etc -) to making sure the day flows through stress free and memorable for you and your guests, Kiki went above and beyond our expectations.   I honestly can't say enough about Kiki and Lavish Affairs.
  
  I had a vision of what I wanted for my wedding - a huge non-stop group vacation/party, but I had absolutely no knowledge of anything in Santorini except its beautiful views. Kiki made my dream into reality, and I'm so fortunate to say it went exactly how I imagined and I have no regrets!! I planned my entire 3 day wedding weekend from NYC, visited the venue for the first time 2 days before the wedding - but still, everything went flawlessly.
  
  I am a demanding perfectionist who is way too involved, and Kiki was there for me whenever I needed her. She answered every random email I sent over (coherent or not), gave me her expert advice and her honest opinion on everything, and still supported me in any decision I made even if it strayed a little from her recommendation. And she did it with a constant smile on her face.
  
  Lavish Affairs has amazing relationships with top vendors across Santorini, which is an invaluable quality to have as a wedding planner. No matter how good other wedding planners are in terms of planning, timing, etc - relationships are key, and their strong ties across the island were evident throughout my entire planning process. Vendors made changes to all my last minute requests quickly and without hesitation, and went above and beyond on my every ask.
  
  I'm definitely missing other points that made them so amazing, but just know if you go with them - you're well taken care of!

  I had an amazing experience with Kiki at Lavish Affairs. She looked after me every step of the way and reassured me everything will be okay. Kiki is a very lovely lady. I found it absolutely fine communicating from England via email, Kiki always replied to my emails. Thank you again.

  Where is the 10 star rating option?! All we can say is wow! The lovely Kiki at Lavish Affairs really has been our back bone whilst planning our dream Santorini wedding which took place at Le Ciel on 26.06.18. Kiki really did go over and above to make sure are day was perfect and made sure everything ran smoothly before, during and after our wedding. The communication via email & Skype between me and Kiki was first class, I would never wait more than a day or two for a reply to any queries I had. Every promise was kept and Kiki superseded all of our expectations on the day. Once we arrived in Santorini & had met all other vendors I quickly realised that Kiki is a very highly respected & well liked planner on the island and has great relationships with all vendors, this was a massive bonus as everything just flowed on the day. Kiki took amazing care of our legal paperwork (inc translations), the itinerary of the day, communication with all our chosen vendors and stayed with us on the day and much much more. Kiki also accompanied us to the town hall the day after our wedding. What more can I say Kiki has been amazing from start to finish an supported us in every way possible not because she had to but because she wanted to. A true professional and total sweetheart. I would recommend Lavish Affairs 100% to anyone about to plan their dream wedding in Santorini! I promise you will not have any worries with Kiki by your side.   Where is the 10 star rating option?! All we can say is wow! The lovely Kiki at Lavish Affairs really has been our back bone whilst planning our dream Santorini wedding which took place at Le Ciel on 26.06.18. Kiki really did go over and above to make sure are day was perfect and made sure everything ran smoothly before, during and after our wedding. The communication via email & Skype between me and Kiki was first class, I would never wait more than a day or two for a reply to any queries I had.   I don’t even know where to start, I had been in contact with Kiki from the lavish affairs for nearly a year planning our wedding day on 18th may 2018. Our wedding day was everything we dreamed of and more thanks to Kiki she was there from start to finish on the day to oversee everything , I truly believe she is the best wedding planner on the island of Santorini.   Our wedding happened on 10th May 2018. KiKi was such a pleasure to work with. So kind and professional. Our wedding went without any stress or hiccups all thanks to KiKi.

My now husband and I live in Canada and decided to have our wedding in Santorini without knowing anything or anyone in Greece. Nor did we know the Greek language. We booked a villa and our flights and prolonged the rest of the planning until about 2.5 months before the date. At which point panic kicked in and with a stroke of luck I was introduced to amazing Kiki. I have to say she brought my dream wedding together in a matter of 2.5 months. It was a truly memorable and beautiful day and none of it would have been possible without the team at Lavish Affairs. I tell all my friends that I had the most comfortable and stress-free experience as Kiki was very thorough and quick in communicating with us in perfect English. There was no miscommunication due to language barriers which I know is a big deal when planning a destination wedding. All in all, I thank them from the bottom of my heart! They made it the most beautiful day for us. <3

  Where do I start with the service Irini and Lavish Affairs provided to myself and my new husband!
  As well as being very friendly and extremely enjoyable to work with - their level of professionalism was second to none.
  From the outset the team at Lavish Affairs made it very clear that they wanted to help make our day be as wonderful and special as possible and they certainly delivered on this promise!
  I could not recommend Lavish Affairs enough and only wish I had another year of planning ahead to enjoy with them.

  Scared to show up for my own wedding

  Kiki was horrible! I planned all my vendors and picked a venue prior to hiring Lavish Affairs & she lost my venue within the first 24 hours of signing a contract. I was so upset, I did not want any of her services as her unprofessionalism was evident by the behavior she exhibited once I told her I did not not feel comfortable moving forward with her planning our wedding. After I asked about refunding my deposit (as she had done nothing but add unneeded stress in the 24 hours of hiring her) she refused. Having been in the industry for 12 years, I have NEVER seen behavior and unwillingness to assist a client. I mentioned that she “morally had no issue keeping our money”, having done no work and she then threatened me with a letter from a lawyer. I don’t live in Greece and I don’t know their laws, but my fear of going to a foreign country where I don’t speak the language and don’t know the area was enough for me to rethink my entire wedding.

  The Lavish Affairs's reply:

  Dear Tiffany,
  first of all, we would like to thank you for this review because you give us the chance to inform other couples about client behaviors that we do not tolerate as a company.
  To set the record straight:
  You booked a villa for your accommodation, but you did not inform the villa manager that you were going to host a wedding there and hire a wedding planner. He told us that you had only informed him about a small gathering. As soon as he realized that you were going to host a wedding, he demanded that an extra fee should be paid, according to the villa policy for external wedding planning services used.
  Your reaction when you were informed of the above was to accuse Kiki because she contacted the villa (which was, of course, part of her job) and use disrespectful expressions, such as "unauthorized third party". Soon after you informed us of your decision to end our collaboration, although we offered you the option to find alternative venues, and of course we respected that.
  However, when you demanded to receive a refund of the retainer you had paid for our services because you considered it "immoral" to keep it and "poor customer service" (although you knew you had signed an agreement stating that it was non-refundable) a letter was prepared by the company owners and not a lawyer.   We are sorry for this turn of events, but you were the one that disrupted our relationship by withholding information, being rude and making false accusations (including accusing Kiki of not responding on time, which we proved it was 100% untrue with email screenshots).
  Besides, as we also stated in the letter we sent you, even if we decided to offer a refund, our accounting department informed us that it is not possible to cancel receipts that are already issued and submitted to the Greek tax authorities.
