We had our reception at the Lodge of Liberty Forge a few weeks ago. Kathleen was so kind and flexible while working with us. Since it was an American/Indian reception-we were able to have 2 different buffets. The fact that we could do that for both sides of our families made us feel so relaxed. The venue is absolutely beautiful and we received a lot of compliments from our guests. We highly recommend The Lodge at Liberty Forge to anyone in need of a venue.

Going into my wedding I was worried about how things would look meaning decorations and how they day would run but Kirsten and her team made my day worry free they did all of the decorations for me and they were gorgeous!!! I just handed them the supplies and trusted they heard my vision and it was nothing short of amazing. They’re attentive, efficient and allow you to breathe as well. The venue was beautiful and the bridal suite was. Life saver for both bride and groom.

We want to thank and commend the entire staff at the Lodge at Liberty Forge for their efforts in planning and carrying out our wedding on September 23.
Kathleen Rooker was so helpful and accommodating in our planning decisions. We only had a few months to make wedding arrangements. And we had numerous personal setbacks during that time, including bouts of Covid and the loss of Bonnie’s father just a few weeks before the wedding date. Bonnie was also limited in her availability because of her heavy work schedule. Kathleen was always willing to make adjustments and be available to meet our needs. And she provided creative ideas and insightful suggestions in finalizing our plans.
We were very appreciative of the personal attention that Kathleen, Michelle Conrad and all of the Lodge's staff provided throughout our wedding day. From the moment we arrived in the morning to the time we left late that night, the staff was excited and active in doing those extra measures to make our day the special one it was.
The outside wedding area was wonderfully prepared. And the staff did an excellent job in teardown and gathering of the items we brought.
We were also impressed with the appearance and preparation of the reception areas. The idea to use on the banquet tables the rose petals not used during the wedding ceremony was really clever and thoughtful, and is just one example of the attention to detail that we experienced throughout the day.
We and our guests thoroughly enjoyed our reception dinner. We repeatedly received high complements from our guests on the flavor and quality of preparation of their meals. And the lunch we and Bonnie’s family ordered from the Sand Trap Grill during our pre-wedding preparation was timely provided and was really good.
We appreciated very much the personal attention we received throughout reception. Because of post wedding photos, we didn't expect to have the hors d’oeuvres served to guests during the cocktail hour. But staff thoughtfully served us the hors d'oeuvres as appetizers. And staff made every effort to make sure our food and drink needs were taken care of.
We especially noted and appreciated how attentive the servers were to our guests and their requests throughout the reception. Our guests received the same excellent attention as the bride and groom. Staff's efforts made our guests feel special and welcome.
We appreciated the patience and help that the staff provided after the reception. It was a long day (our wedding was in the late afternoon). Not only did they provide helpful assistance in the gathering and carting of the items. We never felt rushed in completing the process. .

The Lodge at Liberty Forge was the perfect venue for our wedding! From day one, Kathleen was easy to work with to plan our day and accommodate our needs. Day of staff were great too. Everything was set up exactly as discussed and the food was delicious. I would not change anything about our wedding day. Everything was perfect and that’s a big part because of The Lodge at Liberty Forge.

Our wedding day was absolutely magical and it wouldn’t have been possible without everyone at Liberty Forge. They were extremely accommodating to all our wishes and worked with us in great detail to make our vision come to life. The staff worked closely with us to make sure the menu and decor was exactly what we wanted. The venue had numerous options for great pictures as well. I could not recommend this place enough for your big day.

The lodge at liberty forge - specifically Kiersten-went above and beyond to fulfill all of my wedding needs. I probably sent about 50 different emails randomly asking questions and I always got an answer promptly. They took so much stress off my back! The food was incredible. Highly recommend!

They were on top of everything. The whole night of the wedding we did not lift a finger and if we needed something it was done instantly.

This was the one and only venue we looked at because I fell in love with The Lodge at Liberty Forge. They were so accommodating when we had to change the wedding date for a year due to Covid. Kirsten was always so helpful and quick to respond to phone calls and/or emails and so patient with all our questions. Kirsten and her staff were wonderful to work with through the 2 years of planning up to the last detail of our wedding day, even as far as creating a beautiful wedding cake when the one we purchased was a flop! I can't say enough about Kirsten, her staff and the beautiful facility. Thanks to all of them! I highly recommend The Lodge at Liberty Forge for your wedding or any event.

The Lodge at Liberty Forge was a truly beautiful venue to use for our September wedding. The outdoor area-where we got married- was absolutely stunning and had perfect natural light for photos, the indoor reception area had a lot of space so that our guests didn't feel cramped, and the dance floor/bar area was beautiful with mosaic chandeliers and stone floors. Our wedding planner, Kathleen Rooker, was a spectacular coordinator and made sure everything was as it should be. She is very kind, courteous, knowledgeable, and overall extremely good at her job. She goes the extra mile to make sure the day is as smooth as possible. Would definitely recommend this venue and the awesome coordinator!

Everything went smoothly on our wedding day! They did a great job of accommodating family members with disabilities.

The entire staff was amazing, the venue was beautiful and then food and drinks were fantastic! Special shoutout to Kirsten, our say of coordinator, who went above and beyond for us throughout the entire process and fielded every one of my questions quickly!

The Lodge at Liberty Forge was one of the best experiences we’ve had. Not only were they attentive when we had even the littlest question, but Kirsten even helped decorate when needed!

Liberty Forge was there for us when our venue canceled. They were willing to work with us during the uphill battle during the pandemic! The staff is excellent to work with, not only in planning, but especially the day of the event! Beautiful venue, lots of great things to offer, and I highly recommend them!

I cannot say enough about the staff at this venue! Planning a wedding through COVID was a challenge, to say the least. Kirsten and Donya were always prepared for the questions and changes that came with this pandemic. When our day finally arrived, I can say that I experienced 0 stress about the wedding. Anything that was needed, was handled. It was the most perfect day! I would recommend this venue to ANYONE that asks.

I really cannot say enough how amazing everything was at Liberty Forge. Jenna and Emily were so easy to work with and extremely responsive. They did an awesome job with everything! They really made everything so much easier for me because I knew I could count on them. The venue was set up perfectly on the big day; It looked stunning!! From the guest’s tables, to the candy table, to the bartending. It was exactly what I wanted and more! They truly made my day special. I’m so glad I chose Liberty Forge!

Tad was very professional, knowledgeable, and flexible. He made the day go so smoothly. Emily was awesome! My guests raved about the food and the beautiful location. Many pretty places to get married but if you want someone who really cares about your day going absolutely wonderful and is kind and easy to work with as well as professional and knowledgeable, Tad and The Lodge at Liberty Forge is an excellent choice. We were so happy that we picked this location! The day couldn't have gone any better thanks to the wonderful staff at The Lodge at Liberty Forge.
