We had a great experience with The Madison Club. The planning process was efficient and well-organized (thank you Leanne!), so on the day of they focused on all the small details while we got to enjoy our day. The space is beautiful and the food was delicious. We would definitely recommend this venue to others!

If you want a wonderful, one-stop-shop venue for your wedding, the Madison Club is the way to go. They seem like a very expensive venue at first, but once you realize all the services you get with one of their wedding packages, it's well worth it. They provide the venue, food, cake, bartenders and waitstaff, furniture, linens, ready rooms, etc. They even do all the setup and teardown for you, so no need to have your family and friends rush to the venue early to set things up or stay late to pack up your stuff (I can't tell you how valuable of a service this is for both you and your guests).

We had all of our wedding events at the Madison Club, including rehearsal dinner, ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, and reception. Our guests really liked not having to drive from a ceremony location to a separate reception location. The Madison Club's rooms are all so beautiful that it's very easy to find a lovely space for a ceremony and then a cool, open area for your reception.

The food at the Madison Club is excellent. We used them for lunch food in the ready rooms as well as all the cocktail hour and dinner food options, including the cake. They were very open to accommodating the dietary needs of our guests, even making a custom meal for our two vegan/gluten-free guests for no extra charge.

Working with Julianne Suleski (one of their wedding coordinators) was one of the best things about planning our wedding. She was always quick to respond to any and all questions I had about the Madison Club and wedding planning in general.

The Madison Club is also conveniently attached to the Hilton Madison Monona Terrace, which is an excellent option for your wedding hotel block.

Since the wedding, our guests have been telling us repeatedly what a well-run, perfect wedding we had. So many people before the wedding kept telling us "something will go wrong with your wedding, and that's okay," but literally we had no problems on the wedding day. I thank Julianne and the Madison Club for that.

Great venue with amazing detail and awesome service! Food is delicious and staff is top notch!

My daughter had her wedding reception at the Madison Club. It was a wonderful venue! They have just remodeled their lower level and it is gorgeous. They installed a glass dome ceiling, beautiful gold chandeliers, wooden floors and a media/sound system. It is a magical space. The staff is outstanding. Everyone from the wedding and event planner to the service staff & bartenders were so accommodating. We had a lot of compliments on the food, which was fantastic. It's not easy to put out 165 meals and have it all be great. They have an in-house pastry chef who made the most delicious carrot cake. The Madison Club is a marvelous venue for a wedding.

I can't say enough good things about the Madison Club and it's super professional staff. We worked with Emily to plan our wedding and she is sensational. They pay attention to every detail and no question is too silly to ask. I have had the best experience with this venue and would recommend it to any Madison area bride.

We absolutely loved this venue for our reception! We worked with Chastity, who took great care of us before, during and after the big day. She always responded quickly to emails and was great with helping us plan the flow for the evening. We can't say enough good things to describe the pleasant experience we had working with her. Unlike other venues who were only interested in details of your wedding, she actually made us feel like we were friends. She was also great about working with our budget. It made all the difference in the word while planning. Additionally the venue is beautiful and photographs extremely well! The food is delicious and doesn't taste like banquet food at all. In fact all our guests kept telling us how much they loved all the food.

I was extremely happy we chose Madison Club for my only daughter's wedding. Guests complimented us on the beautiful venue and delicious entrees. The dinner service was orchestrated seamlessly, just as expected. I was so thankful for the included setting up of the candles, paper lace banners, family photos and scattered chocolates as well as wrapping up these items at the end. We were able to focus on our guests and celebrating that day. We danced up until closing. The wood dance floor made it easy on the feet and acoustics fine for music. In the end we paid as much as we would have at the Public Library using their sole cater or the Monona Terrace. .For these other venues we would have had to hire out for services included at the MC. We did our calculations, visited MC with family and chose well.
Chandeliers and fireplace, secluded garden patio, a spectacular view and classic club bar, professional waitstaff, gourmet food, what more could we ask for?

Best wedding venue in Madison! The best staff that takes care of you from the minute you start planning till the minute you picked up all of uour belongigs after the event. Chastity was a joy to work with and made sure all our little special details were taken care of. David took the time to come up with 3 spectaular custom drinks that mirrored our wedding`s theme. The chefs created fantatic appetizers for cocktail hour and made 2 different steller dinner meals. Timing of everthing was perfect and were very accommodating to anything that popped up. But our captain of the night a dear friend of mine, Sarah was beyond amazing, she never let me lift a finger and as the bride that was a great feeling. They really took extra special care of us made our day perfect. Thank you to all who helped make that possible. Lastly, a hige shout out gpes out to Mary and Marius, both which without their lpve and support would not habe learned all I did and would never have been able to have the most beautiful and perfect wedding day a bride and groom could ask for. Lpve you all and thank you again for giving us a lasting memory!

I can not say enough nice things about the Madison Club! The building is beautiful, food delicious and staff are amazing! Chastity made the whole planning process as stress free as possible and our wedding was flawless. If you are considering having your wedding here - do it - you won't regret it!

The Madison Club was the perfect venue for our wedding. Emily was incredibly responsive to my hundreds of emails and small changes along the way. The day of, they made sure that we were taken care of and had food and drinks brought down to us while we waited to enter. The entire waitstaff was polite and efficient. The rooms looked amazing and the food was delicious. I would strongly recommend that any bride chose the Madison Club for her wedding. We couldn't have been happier with the way our day turned out.

Nothing bad can be said about this venue- attentive staff, exceptional service,beautiful absolutely perfect day. Couldn't have asked for anything better! Especially being located so perfectly for people visiting!

We visited a couple of reception sites before the Madison Club, and we knew instantly that we really liked it. Our decision was finalized when we visited a wedding show, and all of the vendors had genuinely great things to say about it. We thought that it was a great sign that people to go to weddings every weekend thought that it was a great choice, and we are really happy that we chose the Madison Club. Emily and the rest of the staff were really helpful throughout the planning process, the space is beautiful, and the food and custom cake both exceeded our expectations. We would highly recommend the Madison Club to other couples.

The Madison Club was a fantastic venue for our daughter's wedding ceremony, reception, and dance. Our daughter and her new husband live abroad, so had to depend largely on mother of the bride (me) to plan their event. The event planner we worked with (Emily) at the Madison Club was exceptional and very detail-oriented. She took all the stress out of the planning process for me. We did not have to worry about a thing! Food was great, cake was beautiful, rooms were beautiful, and the staff throughout the months, weeks, and days leading up to our event were very professional.

Absolutely a wonderful experience! Very accomodating and on the big day, everything was taken care of, even if I had not planned it!

Absolutely, hands down, the Madison Club was a fabulous venue for our wedding. We were able to customize the menu, choose the rooms we wanted, and made sure we were happy every step of the way. Their event coordinator worked with us from start to finish and was present on the day of to work with our vendors, brought me tea in the dressing room, every detail was attended to with perfection. There were budget minimums but after comparing them with other places, they were about the same. We did have to become club members, but the benefits have outweighed the costs. The food was fabulous, the service was meticulous, and I didn't have to solve any dramas or last minute problems. The pastry chef rivals other Madison chefs - it is a step up to use theirs! Lastly, we weren't that thrilled with the traditional vibe of the place, but were able to rent the restaurant which we decorated with a 50's club atmosphere. (I've had/been responsible for 5 other weddings, and hands down, I would recommend the MC.)

Great Place for a Reception! All of my guests were comfortable, well fed and I was very satisfied with the service that we paid for. Great Job! We LOVED working with Chastity.

Everything was perfect! Staff was very easy to work with. The only snag was the size of the rooms. Great for 120 with one dining room or 200 using two dining rooms, but a little awkward split if you have 140 guests.

Initially, we had a rough start, but through some staff turnovers I was extremely pleased with working with Amy Perry. Her organizational skills were extraordinary and she really did everything possible to support a beautiful day. We left some things behind and she's reached out to make arrangements for a pick up. She truly looked at all aspects and brought things to my attention which I had overlooked. I couldn't have asked for a better place and people to work with.

Our guests were amazed by the beauty of the building, the food was excellent, and the service was top notch. Although a bit pricy, we knew we were in good hands from day 1, and everything turned out just perfect. The only 2 small issues we had the day of the wedding (turn down the a/c and move a guest dinner table) were taken care of within minutes. Emily is a wonderful person to work with and always put our interests first. The only small negative was that we had too many people to fit in the same room for dinner, so any guests over 144 are sitting in-between rooms or in a 2nd room (with a limited view). That said, our guests didn't mind as they were closest to the bar :). Definitely recommend!

The Madison Club was a great rehearsal venue. We chose the blue room overlooking the Monona Terrace, Lake Monona, and the capital. I couldn't ask for a better location. The staff were rigid about including placecards (I didn't want the families to feel like it was extremely formal), so I had to go with a buffet dinner. However, they were able to get me the food I wanted for a great price. Our appetizers and most of the food was great. The lamb was a little dry, and they didn't bring out steak knives until I asked for them. Overall, I was quite happy with my rehearsal dinner at The Madison Club.

We had such a wonderful time at our wedding at The Madison Club. The team did a fantastic job and made everything so effortless for us. Everyone raved about the beauty of the space and the food.

It was great that The Madison Club provided food, cake and setup stuff. It greatly reduced the number of vendors we had to deal with. They also essentially acted as a planner for everything that happened from the start of the ceremony to the end of the reception.

Overall, they made our wedding a delight.

Madison Club was a beautiful venue for our New Year's Eve wedding but there were a few things that could have bumped it up to five stars. First of all, working with Emily was outstanding, but Emily is no longer there. We were told several things by someone else who is no longer working with Madison Club and then later recanted (i.e., we were told that Christmas decorations could be taken down considering we were renting the whole space -- two weeks before our event when we happened to stop in to see the space, we were told that they could not take the Christmas decorations down). Mary hung up on me when we were discussing the matter. Luckily our wedding planner was amazing and agreed to take many of the decorations down for us -- however, the Madison Club made her put the decorations back up for "corporate events in January and February." The food was just okay -- I tried the chicken crostini appetizer and it was not good and then I had the chicken for dinner -- even though we had menus printed and the chicken advertised was with a smoked tomato sauce, my chicken appeared without any sauce and was very dry. I heard things from other guests that the chicken was not good but I heard from several guests that the beef was outstanding. Service was great, actually amazing -- our dinner for 210+ people went off without a hitch and we were actually ahead of schedule by the end of dinner, which really impressed me. I saw nothing but exceptional service from the staff at Madison Club, from the wait staff to bar staff to everyone in between. The charges afterwards were also a point of contention: in our contract, we had an indication that the bar staff would notify us once we reached $1750 in drinks after our drink package ended for us to make the call whether or not to continue hosting the bar. No one ever notified us, so we assumed we hadn't reached that amount. However, we received a bill for the bar for almost $4000 afterwards.

The Madison Club provided a beautiful space for my wedding. The space was so beautiful that it required very little additional decoration, which was great. The food was also very good. The Madison Club also has it's own pastry chef, and it was very nice that she was able to make our cake for us, as it was one less thing for us to coordinate on the day of the wedding (and the cake looked great!).

The staff did a good job during the planning stages and during the reception, but unfortunately, the staff at the club really dropped the ball AFTER the wedding. They lost a lot of the items that we brought that were rented and needed to be returned the following day. It just seemed like they weren't communicating well with one another --- ex. one person put a vase "away" and left, and nobody else could find it. It was an incredibly frustrating and time consuming to get all of our items back after the wedding because nobody could locate anything that we had brought, and the only plus side is that all of our guests had all left and didn't see what a complete mess everything was. It was really an unpleasant situation to deal with following the wedding. Considering the price of of hosting our reception here, I simply expected a higher quality of service than we received.
