The Meadows at Firefly Farm Preserve Reviews

My husband and I got married at the Meadows in October and I cannot say enough wonderful things about this venue!! First of all, the venue is absolutely stunning. The Meadows' 115 acres of rolling hills and beautiful meadows are such a perfect backdrop for a wedding. Our pictures were gorgeous! Second, the Meadows is conveniently located in Raleigh for easy access for wedding guests, but it definitely feels like more of a destination wedding venue. Third, the houses located on the property are amazing. We loved getting to spend some extra time with our wedding party with everyone staying on the property for the weekend. Fourth, and very importantly, the staff at the Meadows were so nice and accommodating to us throughout the whole wedding planning process. They were so great to work with and made sure everything was perfect for our big day!! I honestly cannot recommend the Meadows highly enough and would definitely encourage any newly engaged couples on the hunt for a wedding venue to check it out!!

There aren't enough words to describe how perfect The Meadows is. We would have a wedding there every single weekend if we could. We just had our wedding a few weeks ago and we heard nothing but compliments from all of our guests. They have truly thought of everything to make your wedding day so special. We even held our welcome dinner at The Meadows. Thank you to the amazing staff! We are forever thankful for you guys!

It is absolutely beautiful. It's a perfect mix of rustic and modern. The owners of the venue are super sweet and very helpful, including the day of the event! New additions have been added constantly since they opened. I highly recommend this place!

The meadows is the most amazing wedding venue! The houses on property give the bride and groom ample space to get ready to feel like the star of the show. All the spaces are so well maintained and stocked that it truly feels like a home away from home. Not only is the property gorgeous but the team behind the show really does it all. Nicole + team were able to answer every question and worry before the big day, and they pulled out all the stops to give us a dream wedding. We are so grateful for all the work that was put into our special day and cannot recommend the meadows enough!!

We were lucky enough to get married here in December! I remember instantly feeling so happy and peaceful as soon as we arrived to tour the venue for the first time and felt that way each time we've been back since. We fell in love with the beautiful North Carolina outdoors, amazing outdoor and indoor ceremony space options, and separate houses for getting ready. The venue is rustic but modern and has a beautiful, classic NC feel while also feeling as comfortable and fun and as your favorite brewery. It's truly unique from a lot of the other venues in the area.

We also were able to utilize a lot of decor and features that the venue offers--gorgeous live edge wood tables and complementing black reception chairs, sweetheart table and ladder to hang flowers on, copper arch for our ceremony, cornhole boards, patio with cocktail tables (and options for both built-in heaters and fans), and awesome fire pit for s'mores. We opted to spend the night before our wedding in Aerie House on the property and it was the best experience to get to spend that time together and wake up at the venue the morning of our wedding. We decided to go with the rain plan of having our ceremony inside the venue and were so glad we had that option because it was still so beautiful inside and also because it rained during our ceremony! There is also a "couple's suite" where we did our legal ceremony marriage license signing. It also has a private bathroom and was nice to be able to change into my reception dress there without really having to leave the reception.

The staff at The Meadows is wonderful and did a great job converting to an indoor ceremony last minute as well as flipping the space for reception during cocktail hour. They also still made our first look happen in the meadow where we were originally supposed to have our ceremony and it was so special to be able to have it out there (complete with roosters crowing as we read our vows!). I cannot recommend Lindsay enough, who was so helpful every step of the way and made so much magic happen on our wedding day.

We got married at The Meadows this past week, and we cannot rave about this venue enough. The facility is STUNNING, and the staff was just wonderful. Our planner, Lindsay, was a joy to work with and she brought our vision to life perfectly! Our guests couldn't stop talking about how cool the space was! We would absolutely recommend the Meadows!

Breathtaking! I couldn't imagine getting married anywhere else. You are receiving so many perks and wonderful things upon booking with the Meadows that I never saw anywhere else! I would do it all over again, and they are the absolute sweetest who truly want your wedding day to be magical! Love them all so much!!!

The Meadows was the perfect venue for our big day! We had a picture-perfect ceremony under the trees on the front lawn. Our guests loved the indoor/outdoor features of the venue. It was truly the perfect day.
We worked with the onsite event company, Timeless Events, to make sure our day was seamless. Our planner was Lindsay Harrod. Gosh, do we love her! She made our day a breeze. We got to truly enjoy all the details and be in the moment. She thought of everything so we didn't have to.

Choosing to work with the Meadows was easily the best decision my wife and I made about our wedding planning. Lindsay was absolutely fantastic, great in offering recommendations and made sure our special day went off without a hitch. I always felt supported leading up to the event and I'm still receiving compliments about the wedding months afterward. 10/10 couldn't recommend more.

We couldn’t have asked for a better venue to have our October wedding at. The outdoor ceremony options are amazing, but it was also nice to have the indoor options as a back up plan just for peace of mind. Having the getting ready houses on site was also a huge plus, one less thing to worry about the day of. Lindsay was great to work with and made our day go so smoothly! Another benefit is the location - perfect mix of having the feeling of privacy but also still being a short ride to/from downtown. I’d recommend the Meadows to anyone looking for a venue!

A fantastic venue. Anna and the entire staff did a wonderful job from start to finish hosting our engagement party. We enjoyed their endless flexibility and support in customizing Heron Hall for our party, as well as working with our vendors. Staying overnight was such a pleasure too, the house we rented was very comfortable. The huge firepit, game room, and beautiful grounds were highlights. So thankful for a great event!

Lindsay & the team at Firefly Farms made our dream wedding more than we could've ever imagined. They even helped us bring our cars to the venue and helped integrate them as an art piece in our reception. Everything on our wedding day was absolutely perfect from the harpist to the florals. A huge thank you to the team at The Meadows for making our day more than we could've ever imagined.

The Meadows and their team were amazing! We loved that the venue has so many options for ceremony spaces, two full houses for getting ready, and lots of indoor and outdoor room for the reception. It gave each part of the wedding it's own space and moment, but still felt intimate. The team worked so hard to pull our vision together and will go above and beyond to help however they can. Our day was perfect and that's all due to The Meadows, their planning team, and their coordination with vendors!

The Meadows is a hidden gem amongst the Triangle area! The location is sprawling and natural, just what we were looking for, with a vast variety of ceremony spots to choose from. Our bridal party loved staying the night before in the 2 houses on the property and significantly reduced the stress of wedding morning! Our guests couldn't stop complimenting the venue, most of whom had no idea it was there, having lived in the area. The staff were so kind and always had smiles. A huge plus is the numerous shooting locations for photos! Seriously consider The Meadows!

It is hard to pick a favorite spot at The Meadows Firefly farm. From the art installations, landscaping, beautiful reception area, and the dreamy stained glass hallway we were constantly surrounded by little treasures that made our day feel special. Not to mention the beautiful fog that rolled over the meadow hills during our dinner speeches. . breathtaking!

We absolutely loved getting married at The Meadows. The staff were so kind, supportive, and helpful from the very begging of the wedding planning process all the way through till the end of reception. The Meadows offers a variety of ceremony site options on their property and we even changed our location several times throughout the planning process. They were accommodating every time and made our wedding dreams come true!! Everyone was so friendly and it truly was the perfect day!

What a beautiful venue the Meadows at Firefly Farm Preserve is! It has everything you need and everything you didn't think about! There are many ceremony locations on the property to choose from if you are planning a wedding. Indoors or out, the venue just makes you feel happy! It is spacious and well-kept, and maintains the standards of preservation on the property. The two separate houses for the bride and groom, and their bridal party, are full of thoughtful details and comfortable, relaxing touches. Please take a look at this venue and consider all the possibilities. Additionally, they are a dream to work with and have great relationships with excellent, dependable vendors.

The Meadows is absolutely stunning! Not only does the venue have two houses on site for the bridal party to get ready in but it has 5 different ceremony sites to select from. If you are looking for a wedding space with an urban vibe amongst nature this is your venue!

Having our wedding at The Meadows was an easy choice for us. We loved the versatility of the indoor and outdoor options and the fact that it’s a perfect mix of beautiful on its own, yet simple enough for any décor to look amazing. Every time we went back between when we booked the venue and our wedding day, something was upgraded, and each renovation was better than the last. Being able to spend the full day hanging out and getting ready with our wedding parties at the venue was another feature that sold the venue to us. Thank you!

The Meadows is not only a gorgeous wedding venue with so many beautiful ceremony locations, but the staff is incredible to work with! As a florist, it is so helpful to have venue staff that are flexible, knowledgeable and helpful. I have only had wonderful experiences working at The Meadows.
