Amazing location. Julie, the coordinator, was great. She kept checking the radar in case the thunder storm arrives... The team had to place setup with audio and chairs by 9AM in the morning. Everything ready to go. Amazing.Amazing location. Julie, the coordinator, was great. She kept checking the radar in case the thunder storm arrives... If I have any regrets about using Miller Lash House, it's that I only had the ceremony there instead of doing both ceremony and reception on-site. They are so professional and will work with you to make sure you have the wedding of your dreams. The grounds are absolutely gorgeous and if it rains and you end up in a tent? You're all set - that tent is nicer than my house, with chandeliers and beautiful floral views. If you're looking for an outdoor wedding, you've found the place. Coming down those dramatic stone stairs feels like something out of the movies. Highly recommended! (But it is pricey though... almost $3k to have only the ceremony on-site. Start saving!)If I have any regrets about using Miller Lash House, it's that I only had the ceremony there instead of doing both ceremony and reception on-site. We loved the Arts & Crafts style of the house - we had the whole place to ourselves: the grounds (2 different arbours to choose from, including a waterfall!), cocktail patio/lounge area, two main rooms + Muskoka room for dancing, and 4 private prep/storage rooms away from guests). For us rain was a real possibility. Covered. They have staff with umbrellas to escort guests from the parking area (lots of parking!) and a huge glamtent for ceremony etc. (We didn't need it. It was a Beautiful sunny day!!) They are very organized and responsive to a bride's 3Billion questions. We chose to work with their Preferred Vendor list, which made the day run so smoothly it was unreal. One caveat: if you have dinner in the Great Room in mid-summer.... no air conditioning. All the guests spent the evening in the various lounge chairs outside and loved it... the fountain, the flowers, the night sky. #awesomeWe loved the Arts & Crafts style of the house - we had the whole place to ourselves: the grounds (2 different arbours to choose from, including a waterfall!), cocktail patio/lounge area, two main rooms + Muskoka room for dancing, and 4 private prep/storage rooms away from guests). Gorgeous venue, organized and confident staff, I would highly recommend this venue.
They are very organized and are excellent at what they do, however because they are so on task they get a little up in arms sometimes when you have a creative idea and want to do something a little different, that said they are absolutly willing to work with you to make you happy should you want to do things differently.Gorgeous venue, organized and confident staff, I would highly recommend this venue.
