My dream day made possible!
I fell in love with this venue when I saw a wedding previously held at The Nest on wedding wire and knew we had to check it out. My fiancé and I looked the weekend after we got engaged and I fell in love with it. If you’re wanting a sweet backyard-esque wedding, I would totally recommend. The venue holds 200 which was perfect for us. Sharon was extremely responsive to my many questions about amenities, even responding while she was out of town! She was always following through on keeping the venue looking nice and clean. It was a big lift to not have to rent chairs, tables, and table cloths too! Sharon and team at The Nest helped my wedding day be even better than my dreams, her team is extremely kind, helpful, and hard-working! -

Absolutely wonderful! Sharon is the absolute best. She is flexible, hardworking, and so kind.
The Nest was absolutely perfect! It was affordable and included everything we needed. We worked closely with Sharon and she made our day absolutely perfect. She was so flexible, had wonderful input, and went the extra mile to make our wedding day the absolute best. The venue itself was absolutely stunning in July. There was greenery everywhere and the most beautiful flowers around the venue. Seriously cannot say enough about how beautiful and perfect the Nest is. This is the most affordable and perfect outdoor venue you will ever find. -

Thankful for this team!
I loved my experience with The Nest. So easy from start to finish. It was the only venue I toured and I booked it that night. The whole place looks like a magical forest. I was obsessed with the look of the “greenhouse” style tent as soon as I saw it.
The week before my wedding, a flash flood wiped out the tent. Liz, Wendy, and the entire team worked around the clock to relocate the tent to the front of the property, reassembled and cleaned, and get the venue looking perfect for me. By the time I saw it the day before the wedding it looked even better than before! Everything on the day of went so smoothly. I didn’t have to think about anything. I highly recommend The Nest as a venue and Liz Dowell as a planner to any bride who wants a chill environment!
I also highly recommend booking the Airbnb on site for the night before and after the wedding. It gave so much extra space for storage and getting ready
Parking: they transport each guest with golf carts which ran really smoothly
Costs: I booked the highest available package and felt it was an extremely good value for what I got. The venue was beautiful, Liz was a god sent, and all the food/cake/flowers were incredible for what I spent.
We got married on May 8 and the weather was perfect. We anticipated rain (and we were all ready to make it work) but it was perfectly sunny instead.
This venue will forever be special to me! -

Wen is super laid back and easy to work with. She is very responsive and willing to work with you through the details to make your big day perfect. The venue is also gorgeous, nestled in the Ozark woods and perfect for an outdoor wedding. They have a greenhouse-like tent that is climate controlled for any season. They also have an air BnB on site perfect for the happy couple to stay in on their wedding night. -

We absolutely loved The Nest! It is an absolutely beautiful place and we got many compliments from guests about its beauty. We postponed our wedding due to Covid in 2020 and Wen was absolutely amazing and so accommodating and sweet about rescheduling to 6 months later. The whole process was smooth and not stressful. Wen was so very helpful and her desire for us to have a beautiful care-free day was very evident and we appreciated that. She truly took great care of us. Wen was present all day, silently working behind the scenes, picking up trash, cleaning, making sure everything was good. We couldn’t have asked for a better venue. -

Such a lovely wedding venue!!! It had the perfect outdoor, elegant, whimsical, & romantic vibe I wanted nestled in the beautiful, winding Ozarks we call home! The twinkling lights in the trees were more than I could have ever imagined! Our big day was absolutely magical. 10/10 recommend. Wen was an absolute gem to work with. She made our day even more special. 💞 -

Dreamy venue
As a wedding photographer, I've been to lots of wedding venues. I wanted someplace unique for my own wedding and am beyond thankful I found The Nest! I grew up watching "Father Of The Bride" and this venue brought that movie to life for me. I was able to have a tent wedding, have photos taken by a white picket fence with ivy growing on it, have a first dance under lights, and choose any location on the property for where I wanted things. The property is spacious and one of my favorite things is how they made sure cars were not in any of the photos. The location is perfect (close to downtown rogers) but it feels like you're out in a a secluded spot. The owners are the sweetest and care deeply about making your day special.

My husband got married at The Nest in August and had the most beautiful ceremony and reception. The natural beauty that surrounds the whole venue creates such a sweet, intimate feeling and makes gorgeous photos.
Wen was such a wonderful host. Throughout our planning period we visited the venue way too many times and she was so sweet to us every time we dropped in, and she was so helpful in figuring out how to arrange tables and chairs and have the best flow for the reception.
The bridal suite was perfect for me and my 4 bridesmaids (plenty of mirrors, outlets, and sitting space) and the house/living room area was perfect for first looks with my bridesmaids, dad, and grandpa.
The ceremony was so so beautiful though the sun may have been a little too harsh in my husbands face - light direction and timing can be tricky - but he said he didn’t mind.
The whole venue is beautiful for pictures which we took during a cocktail hour. Dinner flowed smoothly through the space and dancing on the dance floor was super fun. The whole atmosphere is so sweet and romantic, which can only be experienced at night when the lights strung through the trees add their ambiance.
We stayed the night at the very conveniently located Airbnb also run by Wen and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Wen is so kind and willing to work with clients and we appreciated everything she did to make our day so wonderful.

Wendy, the owner, and her husband, were so awesome and so easy to work with! She is easy going and just so helpful! She answered all questions and had solutions, made sure we had enough table and chairs, let me or anyone involved with the wedding come out when we needed to.
The venue is outdoor, with all the greenery you could imagine, rustic and romantic white fences with vines all over. And beautiful wisteria tree covering the patio. A creek behind, and a forest in front! I cant put it into words so I will add pictures very soon! In the chance of rain, they provide beautiful white tents for shelter. Luckily, we didnt encounter rain on our wedding day.
There is a bridal suite for the bride and bridal party to get ready, and a main living area to relax in!
We couldn't have had the perfect wedding we had without Wen.
Not to mention, its VERY affordable compared to others in the area!!!

Gorgeous Venue
Gorgeous venue! Allen and I are very thankful and happy that we chose The Nest for our special day! The venue is more than we expected, with the space and time allocation we were given, and the accommodations of the bridal suite, cottage and beautiful grounds. Wen is gracious and accommodating. She was as enthusiastic about our big day as we were. Wen helped with set-up and made sure our needs were met every step of the way. We considered her family by the end of the night! Family and friends continue to talk about Wen and The Nest today. -

Thunderstorms were expected at our wedding. The Nest adapted to the weather and worked all day to make it the best intimate rainy wedding.
As a soon to be bride, you don’t think rain could happen on your wedding day. Especially if you are planning an outdoor wedding! Well, I was that optimistic bride, and it rained on my wedding day.
Our wedding was planned for May 18th. As soon as we got engaged we started visiting venues. Now, if you have found The Nest, you have found a treasure. Because The Nest is not on Facebook, or even Google. I happened to find this gem on the knot.
The Nest is a beautiful location with a grassy ceremony area and wooden patio decks.they had string lights and warm Christmas lights all around the little cottage and the decks. We immediately fell in love and booked it! Wen is the main contact and was super responsive via text.
As the day started getting closer, the weather forecast showed rain. 2 days before the wedding it showed 90% chance of rain. So I bought an umbrella and prepared my heart for a rainy day. Wen called and we changed the wedding plans to fit with the rain. Wen organized tents to cover the patio decks and even put the string lights under the tent to still give that intimate rustic feeling. We moved the ceremony to be under the tents. And on the day of the wedding, Wen and her crew cleared out the bridal cottage in order to put up tables for the reception. We were expecting thunderstorms not just a light sprinkle. All morning the crew was helping to make this the best rainy outdoor wedding.
My wedding day was filled with some stress but it was so great having the nest team adapt and make it work. As soon as I started walking down the aisle, I couldn’t help but grin ear to ear. A few sprinkles fell in my hair and my dress was dragging the ground, but it that moment, everything was perfect.
We were expecting 100 guests but because of the storms we had around 60. I was told by several guests that it was the most beautiful wedding they’ve been too. Some guests planned to book a yearly party at the location!
I would highly recommend The Nest if you are looking for an outdoor intimate wedding (rain or shine!).
