Best wedding ever at a gorgeous private villa
We had the most wonderful vacation and wedding experience at The Palms Punta Cana. I wanted a PRIVATE and intimate destination wedding and decided on The Palms. Our stay there was incredible from beginning to end. The staff is phenomenal, including the very talented in-house chef who prepared our meals during our stay & on our wedding day & Miguel the bartender who made sure everyone was taken care of at all times! Everyone had rave reviews! As if the ocean front view couldn't get any more picture perfect, Kelly the wedding coordinator delivered on exactly what I asked for in decor. We had the most gorgeous wedding arch and everything went seamlessly. My guests could not get over the level of entertainment which included MONKEYS, PARROTS and dancers including one performer on STILTS! My husband who was not that involved in the process was BLOWN AWAY. Every single person, young, old and everywhere in between had an amazing time.The Palms Punta Cana's reply:

My now husband and I were looking for an alternative to a crowded, cookie cutter resort wedding- and The Palms delivered our vision! Not only was our wedding day perfect but we were also able to stay on site for 5 wonderful nights with (almost) our entire wedding party thanks to the 14 private rooms, each with their own bathroom and 13 oceanfront views. The place comes fully staffed and the staff is WONDERFUL. We were truly able to arrive and relax the days before, during and after our wedding. There is not one thing I would change :-) -

I had the wedding of my dreams at the Palms. I enjoyed the fact of my wedding being private with no wedding crashers, my wedding planner focusing on me for that particular day, having my loved ones all in one location vs a hotel etc. The scenery is beautiful, the staff are amazing, and you can't go wrong choosing this venue. -

I got married at The Palms in February 2017. The venue couldn't be more perfect. It's set on a gorgeous beach away from all the hustle and bustle of tourist activities. The resort is intimate and tastefully designed. The owner and staff are impeccable.
If you're looking for a place where you'll be taken care of, in a tropical ferry tale setting, then this is the place for you. I highly recommend this venue. -

I have been trying for a week to write this review and I honestly cannot find the right words to describe the villa and the hospitality that was provided to our large group (18 adults and 6 kids). So I am just going to write facts on the villa just to help you along with booking it!
1) The pictures do no justice. You will see for yourself when you get there.
2) The team that works there is simply amazing. From first booking with Kelly, to the kitchen staff - Alejandro, Elsa and Duby, the bartender - Wander, and still the maintenance and cleaning crew, were fantastic and hospitable.
3) One thing we overlooked in the contract (as we had not come across before) was, if you do not purchase the chef service, you are unable to make meals. So that means traveling off the property. For a cost that you would not be able to go out and eat at restaurants for and the convenience of having things selected, prepared, served and then cleaned up it is WELL WORTH IT!
4) We were all able to be in a place, to ourselves, and under one roof. Total privacy.
5) The bedrooms are large, have AC, balconies and ocean views.
6) Highly recommend elderly people and kids be on the 1st floor. We initially thought the 2nd or 3rd would be good but when you have to go up and down stairs each time the kids wants something or forgot something we quickly changed our minds. Don't make that same mistake.
7) We were there when Tropical Storm Alberto was brewing up so the beaches ended up quite seaweedy but the crew was on it by 7a and by 9a we had the ONLY clean beach.
8) Please do not be alarmed by the information about the Septic. Coming from the US it seemed quite awkward at first but the maid service coming around 2x per day you didn't know otherwise. It's not like you are staying in the room all day.
9) There are pool floats, cornhole, pool volleyball and some other toys so not much is needed to be brought. We left two wake boards so those have been added to the inventory.
10) Seeley, the owner, has thought of everything so be prepared not to leave the venue. She has been doing it for a while and makes sure you have the best stay possible. Love her!
I cannot recommend The Palms enough. For the cost, the privacy, the amazing hospitality, and the location, I will be back, soon! You start as a guest but leave with a new DR family. We love you!! XOXO -

If you are looking for an intimate and private villa to have your wedding, look no further! From the first email to the villa, communication has been a breeze. Kelly, the villa coordinator, responds so quickly and is always open for questions. Before I continue, I’d also like to mention that the villa is perfect for family get togethers and such as well, your stay doesn’t have to involve a wedding (:
There was no need to stress about ANYTHING! I’m not sure why everyone doesn’t have a destination wedding! Kelly sent me a 5/6 page google doc asking mine and my husband’s preferences about different details and that we attach inspiration photos. The package includes flowers, a dj, most of the decor, and so much more!
You never touch your luggage, the gentlemen at the villa took EVERYONES things to their rooms while we enjoyed a welcome cocktail.
What I was blown away with the most at the villa was the hospitality. Hands down best I’ve ever received, anywhere. The chef, Alejandro was so incredibly sweet. One evening Mike and I had chosen Mahi Mahi for dinner along with some other delicious side dishes. My niece (12 years old) didn’t recognize any of the food (children aren’t hip on seafood) and the side dishes (although totally delicious) were Dominican and unfamiliar to her. Alejandro noticed that she wasn’t eating and went out of his way to make homemade macaroni and cheese! I thought that was so thoughtful of him!!
Wonder was our bartender for the stay and he was amazing as well! Friendly and personable, would whip up anything you may request.
Overall I don’t think we could have picked a better location. We had about thirty family members and friends all under one roof. We all woke up and had breakfast together, enjoyed our own private beach every day, and have many beautiful memories to hold on to dearly now. I love that the villa feels like home, and not just a resort. You feel like family there and I don’t believe you will get that anywhere else! -

My dream getaway wedding
I planned my destination wedding at The Palms. They made me and my family of over 30 people feel right at home and took care of every detail for my wedding so that we could just arrive and relax and have the best day ever! We would 100% recommend! -

The most Magical "Pinterest inspired" Wedding Day at The Palms
The team at The Palms created my "Pinterest" Wedding... Any ideas we shared with them were achievable. We could not have asked for a better experience. They take every detail you are looking for on your special day and make it possible.
There isn't new thing I would change about our Wedding Day. I would highly recommend The Palms and their staff. -

Had our pic of destination wedding locations and settled here. So happy we did. We had most of our wedding participants and family stay here. It was a great 10 days! Private pool, bartender and cook - can’t go wrong. We were nervous about Picking all of our wedding options by pictures and trying to envision what it should look like. Thankfully the villa had affiliates for photographers, DJ, Ministers and hair / makeup. We just had to have faith. We were picked up by villa affiliate transportation which remained our primary transporter throughout the trip. We were greeted by Kelly, and Seeley at the door. They took care of everything. They made us feel welcome. All our guests were treated the same and throughout the stay. It was nice to walk the beach or just chill on our private slice of paradise. Kelly and Seeley were very easy to communicate via email, over the phone and in person. When our wedding day came they did not disappoint! It was everything we wanted. I was super happy my mother was able to spend time here and see us get married before she passed away a year later. I cannot say enough good things about this place. We felt safe at all times. Believe it or not this was much cheaper to stay here for 10 days and pay for 4 of our guests rooms and a small portion of our other remaining 9 rooms and still came out cheaper then holding a one day event in Houston TX. We had a hard time finding a place that could accommodate 30 guests for destination wedding but The Palms handled it with ease! The amount we paid includes all wedding costs + our stay with meals and tip. Each our of guests paid about 1200 for 7 days including meals and bartender costs.

We got married at the Palms this past February and it was nothing short of amazing! Leading up to the wedding day, Kelly, the event planner, was very responsive with emails on all the wedding details and answering any questions we had. Once we got to the villa, we knew we’d never want to leave! The service from all the staff was exceptional! The villa was beautiful and very well maintained. Seely, the villa owner was always on site but never intrusive. She was there when you needed her and not when you didn’t. The day of the wedding went smooth and everything from the photographer to the dj (both recommended by Kelly) were wonderful! It was an amazing wedding and vacation that we will never forget and will most definitely be returning! -
