The photos Jason took of our engagement were everything I could've of dreamed of and more. He captured every moment organically by making us feel comfortable for the entirety of the shoot. Seeing the photos for the first time made me relive our engagement, bringing me the same laughter, happiness and tears I felt that very day. Thank you Jason :)

Amazing Destination Wedding Photographer!

Jason is an amazing photographer and such a delight to be around. I met him through a friend and I invited him to shoot 2 very important events. the 1st one is in Mykonos, Greece where I proposed to my wife and did our engagement shoot. The 2nd event was for our wedding! We had our wedding in Huatulco, Mexico. If you are looking for a photographer that has a unique eye and creative outlook with every sense of professionalism and easy-going attitude, then look no further! Jason is your guy! Did I mention how much fun he is to have around? =).

Jason is THE BEST! He took our engagement and traveled to Europe to take our wedding photos. Our pictures look AMAZING! I could not be happier with all the memories he has provided for us. He is so easy to work with and gives great advice for the perfect picture. I would recommend him to anyone!

We had a viking-inspired, rustic wedding with bones, vines, and a sword. Jason totally understood our vision and worked so hard on the day of our wedding - guests reported he was "everywhere!" The images he captured are seriously awesome and he was a joy to work with. I can't recommend enough and I have sent a few clients his way!

Jason is a true artist. He views photography as a craft, and will treat photographing your occasion as such. My husband and I could not have been happier with our decision to hire Jason to photograph our August 2017 wedding at Devil’s Thumb Ranch in Tabernash, Colorado.

Jason took the time to meet with us in person during our planning trip to Colorado a few months before the wedding (we were out-of-state), because he prioritizes getting to know you and what’s important to you, as well as sharing his recommendations for how to get you the best shots. At the wedding, so many people commented to me that he somehow managed to be both incredibly discreet, yet present to capture every. single. critical moment…he has these amazing instincts for when to appear and how to get the best shot.

Our wedding gallery WOW’ed us and was delivered on time…including a few portraits of us as a couple that look like fine art, they are impeccable. Working with Jason is like working with an old friend, if that friend happened to be a genius photographer. We knew we were in good hands after receiving our stunning engagement photos from him last year, but he outdid himself when he delivered his ENORMOUS volume of photos from our destination wedding in Vieques, Puerto Rico.

We spent hours pouring over each photo and we were consistently amazed by Jason's talent. Not only are the portraits intimate and swoon-worthy, but we were even more impressed by how he managed to photograph every single guest at our wedding. It's a clear sign of his gracious personality that he was able to blend in with our guests and make everybody feel comfortable. We had a three day long event and by the end of the first evening, Jason was part of the family.

After browsing portfolio after portfolio, we knew we stumbled upon something unique after clicking on Jason’s website. His work is vibrant, personal and emotional, which is exactly what we were looking for in a wedding photographer. The whole process of working with him has been impeccable, from his prompt responses to his professionalism in how he manages his business. We booked him for our destination wedding in Puerto Rico next year, but we also met with him for an engagement shoot in our home city of New York last weekend.

Working with Jason behind the camera was a fantastic experience. He immediately put us at ease and made us feel comfortable, letting my fiancé and me connect naturally without ever feeling like we were forced into an awkward or cheesy pose. He’s also a cool and interesting guy, extremely friendly and approachable, and we valued getting to know him over the course of the day. Jason went above and beyond for us, spending extra time to capture more varied environments and exploring gorgeous nooks and crannies. The biggest surprise was when he delivered a huge variety of final photos at lightning speed, giving us both print quality digital files, as well as social media ready optimized files.

My fiancé and I spent an hour going photo by photo and we couldn’t hold back our joy. Jason captured us beautifully and in his own gorgeous style, making us look like we were the only lovers on earth in the middle of crowded Brooklyn. We instantly knew we made the right choice for our wedding and we can’t wait to work with him again in Puerto Rico!

If you can’t read the whole review, read this headline at least….Our wedding photos turned out AWESOME ! Jason, his company name is The Photogenic Lab, went above and beyond and my husband and I would recommend him to anyone. Our wedding was in April 2017. We found Jason through a friend suggesting we check him out; she had discovered him on social media. In viewing his webpage, we realized this was exactly the look we were going for. We were initially nervous selecting a photographer based out of Denver given our wedding was in LA; but, in speaking to Jason, he made us completely comfortable by explaining he travels often for his job and that he’d photographed countless weddings in LA and other cities. Jason guided us through the whole processes and answered all of our questions. He was easy to reach and was in communication with us whenever we had more questions. He’s very flexible and really focused on capturing the special things that you want. Two days before our wedding we’d decided we’d like to have our rehearsal dinner (about 50 people at our house) photographed as well - and Jason didn’t hesitate in agreeing to modify the plan - those pictures ended up being just as special as the actual wedding photos. Wherever the action was taking place, Jason was there to capture it. Many of our favorite pics ended up being non-staged candid shots that Jason captured - often without the subject knowing he was photographing them. Bottom line, he got great candid and staged shots of all of our guests and most importantly - we have some really awesome photos of my husband and I that really capture the special moments of the day. He was extremely professional and went above and beyond our expectations. Words cannot explain how awesome and stunning the candid and portrait photos came out. We could not be more satisfied with the service and final product that Jason delivered. He is truly an artist behind the lens and there is no doubt why he is the number 1 wedding photographer in Denver by BrideBox.com.

We had a classic wedding at the historic Brown Palace Hotel in downtown Denver and Jason captured every amazing moment. His creativity and scene selection is unmatched and end product is something we’ll treasure forever.

Being that my wife has a degree in photography the bar was set high and Jason exceeded her expectations with the jaw dropping imagery.

I couldn't be happier to be working with Jason. My fiance and I were looking for something more personal and a little different, as well as someone who would be willing to travel to Nicaragua for our wedding.

As soon as I saw Jason's work I knew we would hire him. After speaking to him via skype we hired him and within a couple of months he traveled to Raleigh, NC to shoot our engagement photos at Duke Gardens. In an email with him, he urged me to relax and to not worry that our photos would be cheesy.

We just got our engagement photos today and they couldn't be any more beautiful. As my cousin said he was able to capture the fact that when Cesar and I together its as if we are the only two in the world. The photos are just stunning and Jason captured not only the beautiful scenery but also the love between my fiance and I.

Jason himself is a wonderful person and we enjoyed getting to know him over beers and bbq. Down to earth, creative, and in tune with the couple he is working with, I couldn't recommend him more. We can't wait to work with him this summer in Nicaragua.

The Photogenic lab is an amazing company. My Finane and I chose Jason as our photographer for our engagement pictures and wedding pictures. He is wonderful to work with. He made us feel so comfortable. He was so invested in taking the BEST pictures he could for us. Our pictures our AMAZING and we could not be happier with the resutls. My husband and I planned an intimate ceremony in redwood forests of John Muir National Monument outside of San Francisco. We were flying in from the east coast and the ceremony would be the first time we’d seen the area and met with Jason. This would have been so stressful had it not been for the amazing talent, professionalism, direction, and calmness of Jason. We had no idea really what to expect with the whole situation. Without sounding too dramatic, Jason saved the day! He met us an hour an half before our ceremony for photos around the park and they were amazing. He made my husband and I feel so comfortable even though the whole idea of having pictures taken of us seemed so ridiculous. He had been to the park a day earlier and scouted out the perfect locations for us to take pictures. We wandered around the park and he would get so excited by the scenery that we would stop and snap some photos and then move on. He then patiently took photos of the ceremony and us with our families. After saying our “I dos,” we discovered another picture location a half mile away down a side trail. Even though he had been hanging out with us for hours already, Jason excitedly followed us to what turned out to be our favorite picture.

Once all the pictures were taken, Jason had our photos to us in 3 weeks. Fanatically fast! And the quality of the pictures were absolutely phenomenal. We choose the location specifically for the array of earthy colors and the photos were so vibrant and cool. Between his flexibility, bed side manner, and technical skills, I don’t think anyone else would have done our special day justice. We would recommend Jason to anyone looking for a stellar experience. Thank you for helping us create such beautiful memories.

Jason by far was one of the best things about our wedding! We couldn't have asked for a better person to shoot our day! He has such a great personality that immediately blends into whatever setting you are in! He made us feel so comfortable taking photos all day and helped us relax when we needed to! He was willing to be flexible with what we wanted and also had ideas of his own to create the best photos! When we got our photos back we could not believe how beautiful and stunning they all were! We have received so many compliments about how wonderful all of our photos are and what great memories they capture! They seriously look like they are straight out of a magazine and as so many people have told us they look like a fairy tale! We cannot wait to put them all over our house and continue experiencing our big day over and over again! Jason was nothing short of an amazing photographer. From our first meeting with him to the very end, he was kind, professional, very knowledgeable and just a super fun guy! We did an Engagement session with him as well, which was one of the best decisions we made during this whole process. It gave us a chance to get to know his style and him to get to know us. So that come the day of our wedding we were already so comfortable with him, with his guidance, were able to get some really amazing photos. I could not be happier with our decision to choose Jason and The Photogenic Lab for our big day! We've heard nothing but great things from all our friends and family about how awesome he was that day, and now again with starting to share some of our photos from the wedding.
He got our Engagement photos to us in perfect timing, even during the madness of the holidays, so that we could use them for our save the dates. I was also surprisingly thrilled to get our wedding photos in LESS than a month! Jason (The Photogenic Lab) was a fantastic wedding photographer. He was communicative, responsive, professional, (and a generally cool person), and he truly has an eye for artistry. He was also flexible with any changes in the day's plans or difficult family members. Even my parents liked him, which is saying something. For the quality of his work, I strongly believe that he offers an excellent value for Denver wedding photography. We had him shoot an hour of engagement-type photos at a downtown Denver courthouse as well as nine hours on the actual wedding day. He provided us with hundreds of gorgeous photos from our wedding at just under 4 weeks after the wedding day. I would strongly recommend anybody in search of photography (wedding or otherwise) to check out The Photogenic Lab!

Jason-- The Photogenic Lab... Hands down the absolute best person we could have had to capture our elopement. I loved his work moments after coming across The Lab's site and am now an ever bigger fan and admirer of his work as well as him as a person.

Having not met him until the day of (since we are from NYC and the elopement was in Breckenridge, CO).. I, as well as our small group of friends and family felt instantly comfortable and at ease with him. He is so relaxed and chill like a great friend but also so very professional and skillful at what he does.

We went dog-sledding for the day and he was completely up for all of it! I honestly think it would have left some photographers feeling out of their element but not Jason. He somehow managed to make us NOT look our usual awkward or goofy selves, but instead captured the day beautifully and magically. He PERFECTLY captured all the action, smiles, laughs, intimate and tearful moments as well as the gorgeous day we lucked out on.

We, as well as all our friends and family agree after seeing the photos (which he somehow had completely edited for us with superhuman skill and speed!!!!) that Jason is simply amazing. He was able to tell the story of how we lived and want to remember our day so that we could share it with everyone who wasn't present. And he did it all without using even a bit of the typical photographer forcefulness or diva-ness. I feel horrible even comparing him to a typical photographer-- he is truly an artist and so masterful at what he does.

Just watching him in action with all his lenses and gadgets.. we could tell he is so genuinely excited and loves what he does. And that definitely shows in his work. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Jason. We love him and wish we could have him with us for all of our adventures!!- as a friend as well!

Jason was amazing to work with! He was responsive to what we were looking for, showed up early to the venue the day of, and captured the most incredible photographs! We couldn't be more happy with the range of photographs that we received. He captured all of the moments I hoped he would and gave us incredibly artist yet perfectly natural pictures! Looking at the pictures made me almost feel as though I was reliving the day and it was wonderful seeing the moments that I didn't get to experience myself. I was literally giddy after looking through them all. Jason has an amazing eye. You won't be disappointed! Great photos, great price, and amazing quality!

Two things you can never get back in life are time and magic moments. Finding someone who can capture them for you is priceless! Jason stepped in and magically orchestrated a symphony of truly unbelievable, unforgettable and mind blowing images! Words do a poor job of describing how AMAZING of a job Jason did! He has a magical eye and a skill set unlike anybody else out there. He was able to capture the beauty, emotions, COLORS, tears and most importantly: the LOVE! My Fiancé and I feel very privileged to have worked with Jason Bach of The Photogenic Lab for our Engagement photos. Neither of us our "in front of the camera" kind of people, Jason made us feel comfortable and beautiful. We had such an amazing time, we were both nervous as we pulled up to our chosen destination but immediately he made us feel at ease and just let us hang out.

I love every single picture and Jason has an AMAZING technique! We had so much fun dressing up and being together. I love that every picture tells a story even if you don't know us. It is like a movie reel!! LOVE LOVE LOVE!!!!
