The Plaids were amazing at our daughter’s wedding. When we hired them, Doug immediately reached out and met with us to find out exactly what we wanted for the day. He was really interesting in creating the vibe that we wanted. The band’s interactive database allowed for easy communication about songs, announcing of the wedding party and any other relevant details. Skip ahead to the wedding day… When they struck the first chord, the dance floor was full, and it stayed that way until the last song! The variety of music they played was amazing: from AC/DC to the B-52s to Lizzo and everything in between! If you want a band to keep your guests dancing and make the day just perfect, call The Plaids. You will not be disappointed! -

The Plaids ROCKED the house at our wedding in Winston Salem! They took our requests and ran with it and even learned our first dance song with some customizations. It was truly a party and had every one of our guests dancing. People are STILL raving about the performance to this day! We could not have imagined our wedding without them :) -

We booked The Plaids to perform at our wedding in the Outer Banks in nearly November this year. They were AWESOME! From the beginning, Doug was so easy going and fun to talk to. We told them about bands/songs we liked, and they were able to put together an entire set list based on our tastes. They also prepared music for the dinner which was fantastic. Everyone enjoyed them so much! We had a couple of special requests, which they were totally accommodating towards. We had SO much fun because of them!!!!
We really cannot recommend them enough.... we will definitely book them in the future for parties and any other instances where we would need a band! Book these guys! -
User2967226 Sent on 02/05/2017The Plaids's were amazing! So much fun at our wedding. With a smaller guest count I was worried no one would want to get up and dance but this band made it happen. My husband and I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a wedding band! -
User2547636 Sent on 03/05/2016The plaids hosted our wedding reception and I cannot say enough wonderful things about them. They followed through with all of my requests, including many personal touches. For example, when I submitted my song list I included a little blurb about why I wanted a particular song to be played, and they explained it before the song ("This one is for all the Chi Omegas!... This one is for the groom!"). They got EVERYONE dancing, maintained a smooth flowing schedule, and 2 years later people are still talking about how fun the band was. Highly recommend! -

I can't say enough about how good they sounded. Their song list is incredible, too. I would highly recommend them for your next event! -
User2546732 Sent on 03/03/2016Ours wasn't a wedding, but a 50th birthday party. These guys were great. The had a great playlist of the 80s, but they have many other types of music to play. They were extremely fun and very professional. Our emails before the event were always answered quickly. I honestly hope they are still playing together when I am 55. I'll have the back!

User2552689 Sent on 03/13/2016These guys are fantastic. From the quick email responses, to their great music, to the flexibility they offer - I definitely give them 5 stars. They traveled from NC to just outside of DC for our party at our home. They originally were going to be playing out in the backyard by the pool under the beautiful stars, but ended up being a 'garage' band while all the party-goers danced the night away in a tent pounded by the torrential downpour that decided to grace us on the day of our special event. They didn't skip a beat, were happy to perform in whatever circumstance, and it ended up being an AWESOME performance with tons of happy dancers! They played all the music we wanted to hear, sounded great (until they let my husband grab the mic and try to sing a song (haha!), and we are STILL the talk of the neighborhood for having such a wonderful party.
