We rented The Plant At Kyle for our wedding weekend! It was the perfect setting for our special day. The architecture is so unique and has so many beautiful backgrounds for photos. From the first day we visited The Plant we knew that we wanted to get married there. The house instantly makes you feel at peace with constant breeze coming in through the huge screen in patio and there are so many special details to be found throughout the property. Martha and Jamie were absolutely lovely in communicating with us throughout our planning process including when we had to postpone due to Covid. We not only highly recommend The Plant for your wedding but also as a wonderful house to vacation in. We plan on coming back for future anniversaries! We are so thankful to have found The Plant!

The Plant at Kyle was everything we wanted in a wedding venue - modern, inviting, minimalistic, and simply beautiful. Our May 2 wedding was magical and forever memorable.

My husband and I stumbled upon this venue while looking for a house to rent in the Austin area that we could stay at for our wedding and ended up actually having our ceremony and reception at The Plant. The unique architecture and location really made a huge impact on our wedding. It really doesn't require that much decoration.

The space is really a blank canvas. I would highly recommend hiring a wedding planner, but you can do it yourself with the help of family and friends. There are so many options of where to have the ceremony vs. the reception, it really allowed us to personalize everything to our tastes.

The caretakers Martha and Jamie were so nice and helpful. They gave us a tour in advance and really helped to answer all of our questions promptly and throughly that day and via email leading up to our wedding.

We used the three bedrooms at The Plant to host our wedding party for the weekend. The comfy beds, large bathrooms and modern kitchen really made it a mini-vacation for us all. The house is a dream to stay in and we look forward to coming back to stay for our anniversaries in the future.

My husband and I had an absolutely fabulous time at The Plant! We were in search of a unique wedding spot, and The Plant was just that. While we live in Austin, I am originally from Tucson and my husband is from Boston. Needless to say most of our guests were travellers. We were somewhat hesitant at first to make the leap in securing this venue because it did not include a wedding planner / assistance. However, this was just as enticing to us because we were able to make the day truly our own.

Now, we did have some help throughout the duration of our wedding planning. Martha and Jamie, neighbors to The Plant, provided great suggestions to vendors and any needed support along the way. We already miss them! We also had a day-of wedding coordinator (Bird Dog Wedding), and this was most useful. This help was essential for planning a seamless wedding.

End of story...all the guests from Austin and all the out-of-towners had a wonderful time. Many guests even said this was the best wedding they ever attended! The Plant is simply magical, and we could not have found a better place to start our lives. My husband and I plan on visiting The Plant in the future. It has a special place in our hearts. We highly recommend The Plant for an intimate stay or a once-in-a-lifetime wedding.

We had our June wedding at The Plant and could not have been happier with the venue.
First of all it sleeps 10 in beds, but your friends can camp! Plus, it's a Lake/Flato architect firm GEM and has so many beautiful spaces. Your friends in family can hang out in air conditioning (Which in Texas is a huge plus) or go swimming (yes, there is a covered pool). The neighbors were very helpful, but not nosey, everything was simply diving. If you want an affordable and beautiful Texas Hill Country Venue, book The Plant at Kyle!

We had the wedding of our dreams at The Plant. We were able to create a unique, overnight experience with our closest friends and family. The caretakers for the property are so kind and easy-going. No decorations necessary for this naturally beautiful space!
