We couldn't have asked for a better place to have our wedding reception! First, the venue was absolutely gorgeous. We loved that the cocktail area and the dinner area were separate. The dance floor easily fit most of our guests. Second, the food was great. We got a ton of compliments on it. Everyone's food came out hot and delicious. Third, the service was wonderful. We were shocked by how fast the food came out and how quickly the guests were served at the bar. And finally, Cassi was absolutely exceptional. She made sure the whole planning process was stress-free. We had a few specific things that we wanted, and Cassi made it happen. She responded quickly to any questions we had and truly cared that we had a great experience. We would recommend The Westin (and especially Cassi) to anyone!

Me and my fiance had a great experience with Cassandra. She was quick to respond with my initial contact. She asked for our budget. When we took the tour and received the total cost of everything, she made sure it was under our budget. The venue was more than I imagined it would be. Cassandra is attentive and she always replies quick. Thank you!

We worked with Megan at the Westin and we had an excellent experience! She was responsive, accommodating, personable, and SO SWEET! She was a joy to work with and helped make our wedding exactly what we wanted! Everything went smoothly and we didn't have a worry in the world knowing she was on top of each and every detail! The Westin itself is a beautiful place - right next to the ballpark, with a brick road out front that is great for pictures. It is in an awesome location and is clean, bright, modern, and can be decorated to any style! It worked great for our vintage romantic vibe!! Thanks again - you guys are fantastic!!

After a long engagement/commitment to having our wedding at The Westin Saint Louis, my husband and I can say it's one of the best decisions we've made thus far. The venue is beautiful and unique. Our guests raved about how it was the best wedding they've ever been to. I'm sure that had a great deal to do with the staff and accommodations that The Westin provides. Megan was extremely helpful as our day-of coordinator. She was understanding of our needs and helped bring our vision to life. I would highly recommend this venue to any couple looking to celebrate their wedding in style.

My daughter’s wedding reception in June at the Westin could not have been more perfect! For starters, we had over 25 rooms booked (most were locals just wanting the convenience of spending the night) and every guest was impressed by the size and luxury of the rooms, not to mention, the incredible staff. Check-in went perfectly and each guest received their goodie bag as planned.
Now, regarding the reception and cocktail hour in the Promenade Ballroom and Foyer, everything from the setup, to the food, to the service, and flow of the evening was flawless. The Wedding Coordinator, Megan Powell, was a miracle worker making sure that every detail (and there were many) was perfectly executed. Megan worked tirelessly before the wedding to understand what I envisioned and when I walked into the ballroom I was blown away!
The cocktail hour was so much fun with saxophone and piano (on the Westin’s grand piano) serenading us while we sipped signature cocktails and munched on incredible passed hor’doerves. After the guests were seated in the ballroom for the toasts and cake cutting, the food stations were opened. I had been a little nervous about how food stations would work but Megan assured me that everyone would love it, and they did! I cannot believe the number of guests who have since told me that the food was, by far, the best they had ever had at a wedding. The Westin worked with us on the menu making it a one of a kind experience which was absolutely incredible. This was no cookie cutter reception, it absolutely reflected the bride and groom’s personality, and their hopes and dreams for their wedding.
The hotel’s staff could not have been more considerate, more conscientious or more genuinely happy to be part of our celebration. So many made an effort to greet me, extend their congratulations and best wishes, and I am forever grateful for their kindnesses.
I highly recommend the Westin if you are planning a wedding in St. Louis. You will not be disappointed,

Do yourself a favor and book the Westin as your wedding venue. The best decision we made while planning our wedding was picking the beautiful Westin hotel’s Promenade ballroom as the location for our ceremony and reception. All of our guests “ooed and “ahhed” at the modern beauty of the venue. The Westin and their wonderful team made our wedding planning and day as painless as possible, from the valet staff to the front desk- who took the time to learn our names and always offer a helping hand. Furthermore, we absolutely could not have had this wedding without the Westin’s catering manager and wedding guru, Heather Tipton. Planning a Kosher Jewish wedding in Saint Louis comes with its challenges. Additional rooms, special requests, cultural differences… Needless to say, a coordinator for the day was essential. Heather was so much more than the “catering manager” – she took care of everything for us – checked in regularly, answered calls and messages within minutes, coordinated with the outside Kosher caterer and his staff, made sure I had something to eat before the ceremony, and had the organizing skills and patience of a saint. Leading up to the wedding, we had nearly every opportunity for stress and mayhem, but Heather always had everything under control and took care of every last detail. My husband and I can’t say enough regarding how impressed we are with Heather’s professionalism, organization, kindness, and understanding to make our day personal to us. Our wedding day would not have been as special without Heather and her remarkable staff.

The Westin is our home away from home (keep in mind, we live in Saint Louis!) We absolutely recommend the Westin to any future brides and grooms. They absolutely over-delivered to what we were expecting, and we really appreciated the hard work and time all the amazing staff put in to make our dream day a reality.

My Husband and I had our wedding reception at the Westin. Everything went perfectly from start to finish. During the time we were planning our wedding, my fiancé and I moved to the UK and were planning a second reception in the UK. Needless to say, my stress level was at an all time high! Heather, the catering manager, made me feel comfortable knowing that the St. Louis reception was in good hands. She was so easy to work with and so flexible, given that most of our interactions had to through email or when I was in town. Our reception was beautiful. The standard linens at the Westin are gorgeous, and the food was phenomenal. We received complements all night from our guests. I would highly recommend the Westin to any Bride to be!

My son was married at the Westin last weekend and the experience couldn't have been better. The venue is beautiful, the staff is responsive and attentive, and the food was better than we imagined it could have been. Heather Tipton was our coordinator, and she was friendly and on top of everything. We had some special requests for food and decorations and she was very helpful in making those happen. A word on the food - I've been to a lot of events and weddings and the food is usually substandard in some way, but the Westin just nailed it. We had both chicken and a petite fillet on the menu, and they were both outstanding.

I love everything about The Westin!!!! I would recommend this venue to all my friends and family. The event coordinator there, Heather, was phenomenal. Many of my guests said they would get married there solely to work with her. She didn't miss a beat and I didn't have one worry on wedding day. The rest of the hotel staff was fabulous too. The bridal suite was HUGE and perfect for my bridal party and I to get ready in on wedding morning. The night before the wedding, my groom checked into his room and there were a few beers there waiting for him and his groomsmen with a personalized note saying to relax and enjoy himself. There were waters waiting for me and my bridesmaids so we could be fresh in the morning. On our wedding night, we had Imo's waiting in our room for us along with champagne, chocolate covered strawberries, and snack mix. The little details like those really impress me. The ballroom and cocktail hour room are already such unique spaces that we hardly decorated and everything looked great. If we could do it again, we would choose The Westin Promenade Ballroom a hundred times over.

We had over 100 people at this facility in October 2013. All staff assigned to us went out of their way to handle any requests we had and made it such a very special event. The food that was served was outstanding and the variety was excellent. Both rounds of food were well received and a big hit with the guests. A special thanks to Heather for her amazing Public Relations and Customer Service skills.

We had our wedding reception at The Promenade by Westin a month ago and I truly cannot say enough good things. When researching venues, I was automatically drawn to the unique look of the ballroom with the wooden pillars and exposed brick walls. What really made our decision to choose the Westin for our reception, however, was Heather, the wedding specialist.

I planned my wedding from 18 hours away, and Heather was always there to answer questions and assure me that everything was going to turn out perfect- which it did! Throughout the night at our reception my husband and I couldn't stop making comments about how everything was so beyond what we even expected, it was truly perfect. All of our guests are still telling us how amazing the reception was. (And how delicious all of the food was!)

The entire staff at the Westin couldn't have been more accommodating, we were all so impressed throughout the whole weekend at the lengths they all went to to make sure everyone had everything they needed. I don't think there is anywhere else in St. Louis that you'll find a better experience!

We held our wedding reception at the Westin on August 3, 2013. This was an amazing venue to have our reception. The ballroom was a perfect size for our wedding and guests loved the outdoor patio to mingle and get some fresh air.

The wedding coordinator, Heather, was absolutely amazing! She was very organized with the entire wedding and ensured all details were taken care of. Heather always responded timely to any email or phone call and provided reliable information or answers to our questions. She was always accommodating to our schedule and willing to meet at night or on the weekend when needed. Heather is an amazing coordinator and largely contributed to things running smoothly on our wedding day.

Heather is not the only member at the Westin who provides amazing services. The entire staff was amazing through the entire weekend we were there. They treated every guest with the highest respect, and we received multiple compliments from our guests on the quality of the staff there.

There is honestly not one negative complaint I have for the Westin. This is an amazing place to hold a wedding reception, and its location in downtown St. Louis is perfect!

My wedding this past May could not have been any better. Everything we encountered from the first day of planning to the very last dance of the reception and even the morning after, was phenomenal. We could not have asked for a better wedding coordinator than Heather Tipton - she was simply amazing. She made sure that everything was taken care of and that all vendors had been coordinated correctly. I can't imagine what we would have done without her! She made the whole day seem so easy - not a single thing went wrong. Knowing that she was around and taking care of things made getting through the day a little easier!

I also must mention that the overall service, not only of the catering staff, (who were amazing) but all service personnel at the Westin, was above and beyond what was expected. We made friends with everyone we encountered as they were all very willing to help make our day special.

I would love to recommend this venue for anyone thinking about having their wedding in St. Louis. It was simply the best experience one could have asked for.

Brian and I got married on May 10, 2013 at the Westin. We traveled from Atlanta to St. Louis for our wedding. We stayed at The Westin from Tuesday to Sunday and the whole time the service was above and beyond we could imagine. Heather Tipton, event coordinator, was AMAZING. My parents previewed the venue before I could make time to travel to St. Louis and they were truly impressed with her professionalism and knowledge of the venue. My parents booked the venue for our reception right after viewing the hotel. I couldn't be any happier for mom and dad picking The Westin. Heather was great through the whole process. She gave me recommendations for everything that came with the wedding: decorators, lighting, rentals, etc. She had a go to list for suggesting vendors. Since I live in Atlanta most of my communicating was done over the phone and through email. Heather was always available to discuss questions and if she couldn't answer them she would get back to me very quickly with an answer. Leading up to the wedding Heather was always on top of everything and took a lot of stress off of me. The day of she there from the moment the vendors were coming to set up to make sure things were as discussed. I couldn't be more please with the outcome of our wedding. Since it was a Friday wedding we had some time before our ceremony so we got to head over the baseball stadium and managed to get photos on the field and dugout. The overall experience was excellent. If you are looking for a venue to truly care about your wedding and needs I would suggest this venue. They truly made you feel like you were their number one priority as soon as you came to the hotel. The overall review from all of our guest is AMAZING. I heard nothing but great things about the food, the men enjoyed the opportunity to stand outside on the patio to smoke a cigar, and the ladies loved how modern and clean the hotel was. It was worth every penny spent to have our wedding at The Westin.

Our daughter's wedding at The Westin in January 2013 was outstanding. The advice, room set-ups, food, decorations, and service were all over the top. Our guests were in awe of the wedding and reception rooms, food and service. Be sure to ask for Heather Tipton. She helped make the wedding over the top and took all of the worry out. Just great to work with.

We held our wedding reception at the Westin in December of 2012. The Westin was also where we had our wedding room block. It was a fantastic experience planning the reception, as was the reception itself.

It started with Heather Tipton, the wedding specialist. She was absolutely AMAZING. In the process of choosing our reception venue, her professionalism and positive attitude were a crucial reason we went with the Westin. Heather stayed on top of everything and adjusted to the constant changes and drama we threw at her. Even though our personal planning was stressful, Heather was a calm in the storm, always cheerful and accommodating.

The other members of the staff were also brilliant. We received a call the night before our wedding; nine of our guests had shown up one night early. Wow. Yvette at the front desk could not have been more cheerful or patient in working on the situation. She managed to get them rooms for the night AND provided them our wedding block rate, even though that ship had sailed three weeks previous.

From the valets to the servers at the reception, we were not the only ones impressed; many of our guests raved about the Westin. One couple mentioned their plan to renew vows and said the Westin was so impressive, they would love to have their renewal reception there.

And not to give the physical space, or food, short shrift but the service/people are what stood out in our experience. There are other beautiful places with delicious food but it seems hard to believe any place could take care of a couple the way Heather and the Westin staff took care of us. That sense of security is a huge part of why we recommend them so highly.

My husband and I highly recommend the Westin St.Louis for future couples who are looking for an amazing reception venue!

My husband was an extremely picky man when it came to picking our reception site, but we both fell in love with the Westin the minute we walked in. We both have a modern taste and the Westin Promemade ballroom definitely boasts a modern vibe! It has beautiful exposed brick walls and great views of downtown and the ballpark! The area our cocktail hour was held in is spacious and full of windows. Many of our guests complimented us on how beautiful everything was!

The food was to die for!! Again, I can't even begin to tell you how many people said our food was the best they ever had at a wedding- again this included our cocktail hour hor d'oeuvres- which the staff made sure to save for the wedding party when we arrived!

The service is outstanding! All of our guests felt as if they were at a restaurant because the Westin had servers that catered to every table. The server for the head table even boxed my dinner that I didn't finish and had it sent to our room for later that evening!

The rooms are spectacular. I would recommend all bride and grooms stay the night at the Westin along with their guests. My husband and I felt like royalty! Our room was spectacular and the staff goes above and beyond to make your wedding night amazing! All of our guests had a wonderful experience as well. They loved their rooms.

On to Heather Tipton. She is amazing and will truly make your wedding day/night amazing! I didn't have to worry about a thing- Nor did my mother or anyone in the wedding. Heather goes above and beyond to make your day perfect. She gives great advice and input on top of coordinating EVERYTHING with your vendors! The Westin takes care of set-up and break down. All you have to do is show up. Heather makes sure you are one satisfied bride and groom! She's always there if you need anything! We couldn't be happier with our big day!!!

Everyone at the Westin was wonderful, very accommodating and helpful. They really worked with us to be able to give us everything we wanted within our budget. The setting is beautiful and the accents they provide really set the venue off. The wedding coordinator, Heather Tipton, was very timely in her responses, very friendly, and really made the whole thing run smoothly.

Our wedding reception was at the Westin by the ball park on 8/11/12. I could not be happier with the service from the moment we began the process (over a year ago) to the last moment of our reception! The service was beyond our expectations. The food, drinks, staff, etc. were AMAZING! The staff did everything they could to make our wedding day perfect! Heather handled all of our wedding reception details. She was such a pleasure to work with. She was attentive and responsive when I had questions! She kept me up to date with everything I needed to do. She made the entire process seemly and worry free! I 100% recommend the Westin as a place for your wedding!

We had our wedding reception at the Westin St. Louis on May 5th, 2012 and had a wonderful experience working with Heather Tipton and her team. They went above and beyond to make sure everything went smoothly on the day of our event, and as the bride I never once had to worry. From delivering gift bags to our guests at the hotel, to setting up our candy buffet, coordinating with our caterer and photobooth set up, and even decorating our wedding suite with centerpieces and rose petals before my husband and I made it to the room, they were incredibly helpful and professional. I also received many compliments from our guests who stayed at the hotel over the weekend on the comfort of the guest rooms.

I personally was drawn to the Westin because of its more contemporary vibe - I appreciate the wood and brick finishes throughout the hotel and it made a great backdrop for our wedding photos. The Westin has the convenience of a downtown hotel without feeling like your traditional stuffy hotel ballroom. Our out-of-town guests were also very excited at the proximity to Busch stadium - it's literally right outside the door :)

I would highly recommend the Westin to anyone looking for a reception venue in downtown St. Louis.

I cannot say enough nice things about The Westin St. Louis. We had our wedding reception here and it was by far the best place we could have chosen. The entire staff was welcoming and friendly. Heather Tipton and Tracey Barrier-Edwards handled multiple questions and calls with complete ease.

I had no worries the day of the wedding, even with all the other events taking place that weekend (1. Cubs/Cards Home Opener, 2. Half Marathon, 3. Blue Playoffs, 4. NRA Convention), we were treated like we were the only thing happening. There were no problems or issues during the reception, or at least none that I had to hear about which speaks volumes to how they are able to manage multiple guests and personalities (let's face it, some guests can be demanding).

I would recommend The Westin St. Louis to ANY bride looking for a venue. The room shows off so well and the staff is absolutely amazing.

I would HIGHLY recommend the Westin St. Louis! From our initial scouting meeting to our post-wedding Sunday brunch for guests, the service was amazing. And the the space, the food, and the service, exceeded all our expectations. They worked with us to make our hotel wedding feel anything like a "hotel wedding," and Heather Peterson (senior catering manager) made sure everything flowed together seamlessly. While the costs are typical for other large downtown hotels, the final product was so great that I definitely think we got a great value for the cost. And our guests were raving about event and the hotel, both those who stayed there throughout the weekend and those who came only for the wedding and reception.

The Westin was super professional, and Shannon is amazing. We had a little problem with securing our date which was a bit of a hiccup but other than that they have been pretty amazing.
