A beautiful place for your special day!

My husband and I got married at the Quechee Club two weeks ago, and loved every minute! The ceremony was outside Murphy Farm on Lake Pinneo (absolutely stunning!), and the cocktail hour and reception were at the Clubhouse. We had warmer than usual weather for September, so we were able to open the doors to the outside deck, and people loved hanging out there during cocktail hour and the reception. We also had a welcome party at Murphy Farm on the Friday evening before the wedding, which was such a wonderful way to spend extra time with family and friends. We even got to connect our phone to their speaker system and have a dance party outside near the fire pits (yes, they have fire pits, and they were such a huge hit!). The events and facilities staff at the Quechee Club set up everything perfectly. Lacey, the coordinator, is a JOY to work with. I probably sent her a hundred questions throughout our wedding planning, and she always answered so quickly and thoroughly. She accommodated all of our requests and made everything so easy and stress-free! Everything the day-of ran so smoothly. Chef Charles is amazing, and our food was DELICIOUS. He also accommodated our special meal requests. Everyone has been telling us how beautiful our venue was, and how much fun they had. I highly recommend that you take the time to check out the Quechee Club if you are looking for a beautiful setting to host your Vermont wedding!

    Perfect Quechee Wedding Venue!

We are so pleased that we picked the Quechee Club as our wedding venue! My husband’s parents are members of the club and we’ve always enjoyed the atmosphere and food there (and the stunning views!). Michelle was a fantastic coordinator and was on top of everything throughout the planning process, even though we were living abroad and/or out of state for most of our planning. Our guests complimented us on the venue, food, and the whole experience countless times. We have absolutely no regrets that we chose the Quechee Club for our special day!

When my finace and I began planning our wedding, we knew it had to be in Vermont. I'm originally from the Green Mountain State and have family there. Having them at our wedding was so important to my fiance and I. As we began the search for our reception venue, we quickly became discouraged at the sheer amount of money places were charging. It seemed almost impossible to get both value and atmosphere. Thankfully, we found The Quechee Club. From the moment we walked in, we were impressed the staff's warmth and professionalism. The banquet space for our cocktail hour and dinner were beautiful, overlooking the golf course and Green Mountains.

Working with Deborah Colt was a dream. She was responsive to any questions or concerns which arose, and led us every step of the way through the entire wedding planning process. Her warmth, compassion, and flexibility were appreciated during stressful moments, and her enthusiasm for her job shone though as the big day approached.

On our wedding day, a microburst blew through Quechee, knocking out power to many hotels, restaurants, and area businesses, including parts of the Quechee Club. As my new husband and I entered the beautiful foyer of the club, Deborah and Miranda were there to congratulate us. They also broke the news the club had lost partial power. They were quick to assure us the kitchen was working so dinner would not be affected, but my first question was, "Can we dance?" Thankfully, we could dance, eat, drink and celebrate!

The entire staff was incredibly professional during the unexpected power outage, and didn't miss a beat. My husband and I received tons of positive feedback from our guests about how wonderful the reception was: the food was delicious, the drinks strong, the staff courteous and professional. We were so thankful to have chosen The Quechee Club to celebrate our wedding weekend! Everything from the rehearsal dinner, to the reception, to the breakfast buffet was amazing and seamless!

I had my entire wedding weekend on The Quechee Club property (rehearsal dinner/welcome party at Murphy's Farm, Ceremony at Murphy's farm & Reception at The Quechee Club). Michelle Dougherty helped me through the entire process and was great! She was available to answer questions, and did a great job accomodating my wishes. Compared to other venues, The Quechee Club was very reasonably priced and a lot was include din that price. On the wedding weekend, Michelle (and Erin & Deb) were present the entire time so that I didn't have to think about a thing - and they could make sure all of the things we discussed happened. Our wedding was beautiful and I highly reccomend this venue!

We had our wedding at Murphy Farm by Lake Pinneo and we could not have chosen a more perfect spot. If you enjoy the outdoors like we do, this an excellent choice. After the ceremony we got to cruise around the golf course to enjoy a moment to ourselves before heading back to the reception at the Main Dining Room in the Clubhouse. It was absolutely gorgeous.

The staff was friendly and helpful. Since the main dining room is so charming and you have access to to both the enclosed deck and outside deck, we had to the minimum amount to decorate the space. The dining room looked spectacular with some simple twinkle lights and tulle on the pillars, and our simple, country inspired wild flower centerpieces in mason jars. Everyone complemented the whole event and we could not have been happier with our choice of the Quechee Club.

Bill, the banquet manager, was an incredible asset to us. He was responsive, accommodating, understanding, and made us feel incredibly at ease and important throughout the planning process until the very last minute.

My wedding at The Quechee Club was beautiful! Our ceremony took place outside of Murphy Farm on Lake Pinneo, and our reception was held in the main dining room at the club. Michelle Dougherty and Deborah Colt are very sweet and hard working! In the couple weeks leading up to our special day Michelle was very attentive and available. Compared to other venues in the area we had looked at, the Quchee Club's prices were very good. The food has always been excellent every time we have dined there, and our wedding was no exception. Our guests were raving about the location and how beautiful it was. The Quechee Club is a hidden gem!

    PROS:
    - The colors in the room were neutral and the hard wood dance floor had columns on each corner with beautiful lit up branches.
    - We had use of the reception room, cocktail hour room/bar, and porch.
    - The coordinator was very responsive.
    - All our decorations up accordingly, it was beautiful.
    - Food was great.
    - Cost was low.
    CONS:
    - We paid over $4 a glass for everyone to have a glass of champagne for the toast and to sip on after. Too bad there was only a sip in each person's glass.
    - The wedding party was supposed to have a free drink each, but when they went to the bar the bartender said there were no free drinks during the reception and that they should have come during the cocktail hour... That''s when photos are taken, of course the wedding party isn't there for the cocktail hour!!
    - Groom was given the wrong Entree.
    - The private bar in the reception room was supposed to be open for our use only, but it was closed and never opened later on in the night. Guests had to go to the public bar in the adjoining room to get drinks.
    - The seating chart was completely wrong, and the Groom's parents were some of the farthest away from the action.
    - The cake was cut into tiny (domino sized) pieces and the servers/kitchen ate the rest of the cake, which I can only assume was a massive amount since guests were given tiny amounts. There was enough cake for an extra 100 guests... The cake maker gave the kitchen specific instructions for cutting, serving, etc. but they clearly didn't read them.
    - The staff left throughout the night and about a half hour before the end of the night (when we rented the room til) they had all disappeared, so we all had to clean, tidy and collect our decorations after. The doors were probably never locked.
