A year before our wedding we checked out the Ritz Carlton in New Orleans on a whim. I didn't think it was it was realisitic. We met with Chalon at the hotel bar who answered each and every one of our questions, showed us all the options for our ceremony and reception, was given a very detailed estimate and lots of info. A year and a week later my wife and i were married at the Ritz in NOLA. It was amazing! From start to finish, all our questions were answered, followed up on, responded to quickly, and helped whenever we needed it! Chalon was the person who helped us with our initial package setup, from there Emily Jensen and her team were AMAZING! Helpful, friendly, warm, informative, flexible, great at commuication! Emily Jensen and her team were great coordinators, and thankfully my wife is a great planner and prepper, so we didn't have to have a Day of Wedding Planner, my wife along with Emily and her team were on it! Our week of, day before, day of, day after, and week we stayed at the hotel were all wonderful. Emily and her team helped to make our Wedding Day smooth and happy and pretty much stress free! The entire staff at the Ritz Carlton, every person we interacted with, valet, bellman, front desk, bar, EVERYONE IN THE CLUB level, the catering staff, the Spa staff, Emily Jensen and her team, Chalon, EVERYONE was great! We fully recommend the Ritz Carlton New Orleans, they were flexible with so many details that made this wedding affordable for us, WELL worth the value, and gave us the best Wedding Day ever!

Everything was perfect! Erin B., our event coordinator at the Ritz, was absolutely wonderful. She put together a perfect reception and thought of everything. We had our own personal valet, Megan, during the reception who took care of our every need. Oh, and the food was fantastic!

AMAZING!!! Erin Bledsoe was a dream to work with and the Ritz went above and beyond anticipating my needs for the big day. I did not have a wedding planner or coordinator and it turns out I didn't need one. Erin was full of great ideas and made sure that my day went off without a hitch!

We booked our suites, guest room blocks and a wedding day luncheon with the Ritz-Carlton New Orleans. Every detail was taken care of with incredible attention. Ryan Goyette was my contact at the Ritz and she was one of the most professional and responsive people I have ever worked with. She made me feel like our rooms and luncheon at the Ritz were the only things she was working on, and when rooms had been overbooked at Iberville, she arranged for all of our guests with rooms at the other hotel to be moved to rooms at the Ritz. We ended up with somewhere around 85 guest rooms during the weekend of our wedding, and if I ever needed a thing, all I had to do was call Ryan. If she wasn't available, someone always called me back within the half hour, and I never had to worry about one detail. She is definitely someone who the Ritz Carlton New Orleans should be glad to have on their team because she meets and exceeds exactly the kind of service one would expect from an establishment like the Ritz Carlton.

Our reception at the Ritz Carlton was perfect! Our wedding coordinator, Marieke D, was incredibly thorough and timely in answering our [many] questions! She went out of her way to make our day amazing and I would recommend her 100x over! Also, our guests RAVED about the food and the great bartender service. The Ritz wasn't the least expensive option we considered, but we more than got our money's worth.

We booked our block with the Ritz and couldn't have been happier. Staff was wonderful and incredibly accommodating. The Ritz on Canal St. is one of the loveliest Ritz properties we've had the pleasure of staying at.

I booked the Davenport Lounge at the Ritz Carlton in February 2017 to host a wedding welcome cocktail party for all of our guests on May 20, 2017. I spoke at length with Mr. Ian Powers, the manager of the lounge, about the details of the wedding event, how it was to be open bar for our guests and in a private cordoned-off area of the lounge. All of this was in a contract and confirmed. On May 13, Mr. Powers emailed that he had failed to enter our wedding party into the reservations system, and as a result, a different wedding party had booked our private area of the lounge. He promised me that we would be put in the adjoining restaurant, MBistro, in a private cordoned-off area with a direct view of the stage, and that we wouldn't know the difference. When we landed in New Orleans that week, we went directly to the Ritz Carlton and met with Mr. Powers. He physically showed us where the private area would be created in the restaurant, and it was directly in front of the stage with only a small room divider. He assured us that although he would not be there that evening, he had spoken at length with his co-workers and everyone knew about our wedding party and would make it wonderful. When we arrived on May 20, we found:
1.There was no cordoned-off area for our cocktail party anywhere. There was no area without dining tables, and no open bar for our friends and family.
2.There was no one hosting our party from the Ritz Carlton. Our friends and family were milling around the main bar at a loss as no staff member knew anything about our event.
3.When we inquired with the manager on call that evening, he pointed to some random tables scattered throughout the back of the restaurant, and said that our party was "free to sit there." There were a few tables reserved spread out across the very back restaurant, none together. I spent the night before my wedding in tears, humiliated, and my husband spent it arguing with the staff. I would never recommend this place.
