I first worked with Robin, Director of Catering, who instilled confidence with her calm and reassuring manner. I also worked with Kelly, Meetings and Special Events Manager, who executed our plans. Kelly was flexible and adept at details. The day of the wedding they saw to everything, perfectly. When we had a last minute addition of an usher, Robin was equipped with corsage pins and fashioned a boutonniere from some unused flowers. They had me sit in a chair where I could see my daughter's face as she said her vows. Priceless!

The Ritz Carlton made OUR wedding happen. Our coordinator saw our vision for an elegant, eco-friendly dinner party and made it happen. Her attention to every detail and anticipation of our needs was fantastic. The hotel saw to it that our guests were treated very, very well.

The chef and pastry chef worked directly with us to do a local / organic menu served "new york style" (where guests select entrees table-side). Pulled it off fantastically and wowed our guests!

Pricey, yes. Worth it for the peace of mind and amazing experience? Absolutely!

The Ritz was probably one of the best parts of our wedding planning experience from the quality of the food down to the staff. Everyone was involved and knew about our event; they wanted to make it the best ever, just as we did. Having my wedding reception at a hotel venue wasn't my first choice, but it ended up being the best thing I did overall - I would do it all over again just to work with the Ritz Carlton.

I stayed at the Ritz for 4 days before the weekend of my wedding and couldn't be happier. Angie and Jennifer were so helpful when initially setting up our block of rooms and also in the times leading closer to the date of our wedding. They called ahead to see if I would like additional items brought to the room for when the bridal party was getting ready which included extension cords, another full length mirror, steamer, bar stools and a cocktail table. This made the hair and make-up process so much smoother and organized. We had a considerable amount of guests stay at the Ritz and they had nothing but nice things to say about the staff. We especially had great help from Shawket who worked in the driveway and lobby. He was so personable and really paid attention to anything we needed to help reduce the amount of stress from the wedding. We had such a pleasurable stay there and really appreciate how special they made our few days there

My wedding was this past weekend and it was nothing less then what I dreamed!! It was beautiful!

Everything looked great and was what I had pictured. Robin helped a lot in having everything go smoothly and look so beautiful.

The food was amazing and we got so many compliments on how good it was. The cake was also all that I could imagine. I gave her a picture of what I wanted and they made it exactly like I wanted. It was beautiful!

My only complaint is that towards the end they started popping up charges that we weren't informed of and they pretty much tired to nickel and dime us. But even though it was expensive it was beautiful and I would recommend it if it is in your budget! Its beautiful!

The Ritz Carlton in Clayton, MO was absolutely perfect for our wedding and reception. We ended up having both the ceremony and reception there was the possibility of snow. Everything was gorgeous and perfect. Robin and Monica were the wedding planners and they are both fabulous. They are in the process of a remodel so the rooms will probably be more updated than they are now.

We had both ceremony and reception at the Ritz. The staff was more than willing to accommodate our every whim and went out of their way to make us feel special. We were promised a couple of things that never happened; the top layer of our cake was to be delivered to our room so we could celebrate on the wedding night, but still has not been found. We were told one price for parking, but guests were charged a different amount. The accounting office was not kept informed of all the promises made to us so it took almost a month to get our final bill and iron out all the problems. Other than that the venue was beautiful, the staff was very professional and everyone had a great weekend.

The Ritz-Carlton restaurant was a fabulous place to hold our reception. There is no room rental fee, only a minimum to hold your reception there. We got a free wedding suite that had two balconies and they even gave us a gift - a photo of us before we went into the reception in a silver Ritz-Carlton frame, a plate of truffles and apple cider on ice [we don't drink]. All the tables, white linens, tableware and chairs were free to use - they even put 5 candles on each table for free. We got a free taste testing in which we got to pick from pages and pages of food to try, and it was all delicious. The only trouble came in with our contact: completely sweet and good natured, Mary was very flighty and had trouble keeping our details and Ritz prices down and she was hard to get a hold of. The head table was supposed to have their meals served with silver domes, but were not. The table chart was a little off. We were to have asparagus wrapped in prosciutto, and instead got broccoli. My father was late to the wedding by five minutes because The Ritz would not make a table of customers leave so that they could set up for our reception. None of guests were offered beverages, and they had to ask for something other than water. In the long run, none of this really mattered. The place was beautiful, the servers friendly and the food delicious. Our price includes all of the food - including the cake.
