  Thank you Casper, Danyelle and team

  Casper, Danielle and the team at Roxbury Barn make dreams a reality and know how to throw one hell of a party. Our favorite thing about this venue was how its different locations build an experience across the day for guests. Not to mention every aesthetic aspect is designed beautifully. The pine grove is magical and the private, beautiful location of the venue was a main reason we selected Roxbury Barn.
  
  They provide lots of support and resources to help you plan for the day. It made the whole planning process easier with their support and recommended vendors.
  
  Danyelle (their day of coordinator) and team also make the day itself seamless, enjoyable, and memorable. They are so attentive and on top of everything it's like they could read our thoughts. Before we could ask a question they were already on top of it or managing things thoughtfully behind the scenes so we could just be present on the day.
  
  Their caterer partner (Ate-O-Ate) is wonderful and everything from the kitchen was delicious and top quality. They provide locally sourced food and have an ethos around sustainability that was important to us. A highlight from the caterer is that everything was highly personal and customized. Unlike lots of big venues that host one tasting all at once for large groups, you have two private tastings with them where you work with them to build your perfect menu.

  Beyond Words

  Words truly cannot describe how incredible this venue is. Aside from it being stunning, you basically get three venues in one due to variety of locations on site. Casper and his staff were incredibly professional, helpful and kind. Our wedding was the best day of our lives and this was largely in part to the magic Casper and his incredible created on that day.

  Our Wedding Was Perfect

  We looked at several Catskills wedding venues before the Roxbury Barn. They were all nice in their own way but when we saw this place, we knew it was where we wanted to get married. Between the pine grove, the barn (climate controlled! with full bathrooms! finished wood! nice looking furniture!) the venue has multiple options for you to choose from. It's a way to have a "rustic" ceremony without it being uncomfortable for your guests. Casper, the owner, responds to all emails promptly and is happy to accommodate all your needs if he can. Kim the in-house planner makes sure everything goes smoothly. One of the best things about Roxbury is that Casper has several PDFs full of recommendations — DJs and bands they've worked with in the past, good restaurants for rehearsal dinners, etc. It made planning a wedding from afar much easier than it would have been otherwise. A++

  Our wedding at the Roxbury Barn last weekend, was the most amazing day, and better than we could of imagined. Every single detail was paid close attention to, Casper and his team make sure that the day goes smooth and as the bride plans it to be. The staff at the barn are professional, helpful and were such a pleasure to have that day. We have been planning this day for some time, we dreamed about what our wedding would look like, and it was exactly that, and even better. Casper was helpful every step of the way, the Green List of vendors they provide came in very handy as we were coming from down state and did not have experience with weddings in Roxbury, we used most of the vendors recommended, and couldn't be happier. Casper takes great pride in the Barn, it has only gotten better and more beautiful over the years, and will only get better from here. We could not be happier, or more thankful for our experience!

We are from the NYC/Long Island area where many of the wedding venues all look the same. We knew from the moment we saw the property that this was where we wanted to get married. Casper and Kim were so helpful during the planning process as well as during the day of itself. They answered every question that we had with an abundance of information. Planning a wedding from 3 hours away can be tricky, but they provided with us so many resources to help make it easier. When our wedding day came, the team at The Roxbury Barn & Estate did an amazing job making sure that everything ran seamlessly! It truly was one of the best days of our lives and we could not have done it without all of their help. Our friends and family were blown away with how beautiful the property was. We have been told from many guests that this was one of the best and most unique weddings that they have been to. I highly recommend this venue!

  The Roxbury Barn + Estate is a dream come true. When we first walked into the Pine Grove we knew this was the place. Secondly, the unique aspect of the Estate is you truly have a few venues in one. The beautiful pavilion, pine grove, bon fire pit and not to mention the barn itself!
  
  The owner, Casper, is a dream to work with and the venue hands over quite the volume of information to help you with ALL THINGS logistics. Always quick to respond, Casper takes any stress of wedding planning right out of the equation. It is also apparent how much pride Casper takes in his estate as they are constantly refining the grounds, improving things, and after a TREMENDOUS amount of rain the day before our wedding, Casper was out there himself in work boots at 6am the morning of grooming the walk ways and making sure our wedding went flawlessly.
  
  Casper - we can't thank you enough for helping us create a perfect wedding!
  
  Lastly, we hired the wedding coordinator 'Kim' to help us out. Don't waste your time looking anywhere else. If you're going to get married at the Roxbury Barn, Kim is your Ace in the hole! Kim was incredibly helpful in getting our vendors in line as well as renting us some items we used at the barn. Thank you Kim!!!
  
  It is probably biased to say this, but, if you want to get married somewhere that literally every single guest will rave about the venue and where you're getting married, stop looking and sign the contract!

  When looking at wedding venues, we wanted something different that represented us as a couple and strayed away from the typical cold and boring atmosphere of a hall. After checking out MANY other options in upstate NY, we immediately fell in love with the Roxbury Barn as soon as we stepped foot on the property. Caper and Kim (both incredibly kind and down to earth) were amazing at helping us plan every little detail and answering all of our questions. Even though we live decently far (2.5 hours away), they helped us make everything perfect without the need to physically travel back and forth. Their provided vendor lists, seating arrangements, lodging options, and literally everything in between made planning so much easier and less stressful than it could have been. As far as the atmosphere goes, I can't even begin to describe it. I'm not typically a cheesy person, but this place is magical. You have the extremely intimate setting of the pine grove, the barn itself which is updated enough to be comfortable and look awesome but still retains its charm, all tied together with illuminated paths, string lights, amazing views of the surrounding mountains and forests, and a true, towering bonfire. If you're into fairy tales...or Pinterest...this is the place for you. On the way to the venue it seems like you're in the middle of nowhere but you'll understand everything once you get there. Everyone was asking how we found this place and talking about how amazing it was. We can't even count the number of guests who told us it was the best wedding they've ever been to, which is not only an awesome compliment for us but a true testament to the love and attention to details that Casper and his team put into this place. As happy as I was, even more important is that my wife said she had her dream wedding, and that it was everything she's ever wanted and more. I happen to agree. It was perfect.

  Casper, Kim, and the Roxbury Barn & Estate deserve more than 5 stars. The Roxbury Barn was our DREAM VENUE and it is absolutely worth every penny. Seriously, if you are looking for a rustic, intimate barn venue, fairy tale vibes, string lights, mountain views, bonfire...look no further. You have found your wedding venue. Firstly, Casper is the nicest guy. His gentle, friendly demeanor really makes you feel comfortable and at home in his venue from the initial tour all the way to the day after your wedding during clean up. Not to mention, everyone knows everyone in the Catskills and everyone just loves Casper! Second, there aren't really words to paint the scene that is the Roxbury Barn and Estate. Check out their website, they've got some incredible pictures. It's even more magical in person. Like another reviewer said, you're really getting multiple venue "looks" or "locations" in one. The house is a lovely place to get ready, the pine grove is quiet, mystical and so romantic, the sweeping views of the hilltop pavilion wowed all of our guests (especially with the fall foliage!), and the carriage barn is just incredible. How Casper and his team have been able to preserve all of the old, vintage and rustic beauty while making the barn clean, modern, comfortable, and sturdy is beyond me. A true art. Third, Casper and Kim make planning your day seamless. They're right there all the time to answer questions and offer advice. And I can't stress this enough: their Green List was ESSENTIAL to our planning and I couldn't imagine planning our day in the Catskills without it. Their exclusive packets of top vendors, seating charts, plans, vendor information, goes above and beyond what other venues will give you. I chose EVERY vendor from their Green List and was beyond satisfied with EVERY one! Praise be the Green List! To sum up, our wedding day was more perfect than we ever could have imagined. A fairy tale come to life. Thank you, Casper, Kim and team!!!

  My husband and I traveled from Oregon to get married at The Roxbury Barn. While looking for a wedding venue that would be easy for our family and friends to travel to, the Barn came up in our searches.
  
  Now, you may think that it would be insanely difficult to plan a wedding from the opposite side of the country, but Casper is so organized it was stress-free. He is very quick to respond to e-mail correspondence and very thorough on phone conversations. There is so much that goes into these days, but the barn truly has it down to a science. With easy to follow brochures and forms, the planning went so very smoothly.
  
  We wanted a very intimate celebration, so we chose a weekday package. It was so affordable and very inclusive, we basically had to sign and choose food and a few decor options.
  
  It may sound like we had a simple day, but it was truly anything but. Kim and Kelly designed the most beautiful floral arrangements for the day - I am still shocked at how perfect they were. The entire staff at the barn moved like a well-oiled machine. The Captains House, The Hilltop Pavilion, The Pine Grove, and The Barn are out of a fairy tale. I can't even begin to describe how perfect and beautiful our day was.
  
  When I relive the day in my head, I wouldn't/couldn't ask for anything more from The Roxbury Barn and Estate. What a wonderful venue with the greatest staff. I'd choose this venue 1,000x over.

  I don't think we could have chosen a more beautiful place to get married than the Roxbury Barn. As one of my friends shouted upon arrival, "It's f***ing MAGICAL!!" It is worth the money because 1. it's breathtaking and 2. you're getting multiple spaces out of one place. We had the ceremony in the pine grove which is....... WOW. Then cocktail hour in the pavilion overlooking the Catskills, and finally the reception in the barn itself, which has indoor and outdoor space. Also, they have a separate house for the wedding party to get ready, which provides it's own wealth of beauty and picture opportunities!
  
  Seriously, go for a site visit, you will not be disappointed.
  
  Also, Kim and Casper are fabulous. They are incredibly competent and will leave you feeling well taken care of - I didn't worry about a thing the day of our wedding! If you're worried about rain, DON'T. They've got it totally covered. Bonus: You can hire Kim as a planner or day-of-coordinator!
  
  Just a note: there are a few things the Barn won't allow - like open flames - because it's a 200 year old wooden structure. Their rules obviously make sense, but just be sure to check with them in case there's something out of the ordinary that you're really set on :) They do offer a bonfire on the hill though!
  
  I don't think I can stress how gorgeous this venue is, though. It's so beautiful, you almost don't have to decorate.... which we kinda didn't!

  Just Absolutely the most perfect place ! This place deserves more than 5 stars. My husband and I just had our wedding their last weekend! I just have to say it was the BEST day of our lives. This place is absolutely breathtaking and beautiful. We had the time of our lives and if I could go back and do the whole day over again, we would! It was worth every dollar and any stress we had. We just loved this place so much. The ceremony was our first favorite but everything else that came with it was our favorite too.
  All of our guests absolutely loved the venue, barn, Ceremony & bonfire. They said it was on the best weddings they have ever gone too.
  Casper was so awesome and helpful throughout the entire process. His warming and laid back attitude made everything so great for us.
  Kim the wedding planner/ manager was also truly amazing in the planning process. She was our day of coordinator as well. She was seriously so helpful and so creative with her ideas and decor. We wouldn't of been able to do it without her. She made everything perfect of us. We were thankful we had her by our side throughout the entire time.
  My husband and I were truly in love with this venue from the start and it was the best decision we have ever made.

  As soon as I saw the Pine Grove on the grounds of The Roxbury Barn, I knew I had to get married there. The natural beauty of the estate is breathtaking. I loved the fact that we could do the ceremony and reception in one place - none of our guests needed to drive anywhere in between. We had a perfect event. Casper, Kim, and the team were totally on their A-game. At one point some rain was coming and the staff were able to execute an outdoor dinner service before it started raining, without making us feel rushed. I really appreciated the attention to detail and the care with which we were treated. I highly recommend having your wedding here - it's truly magical!

When you book with them they will provide you with a list of vendors in the area, along with recommendations on who will work best with your vision.   I literally have no words for how overwhelmingly amazing our wedding at the Roxbury Barn was. Every guest commented that it was the best wedding they'd ever been to, and that was so much due to Casper's incredible, magical work. The Roxbury Barn is the most breathtaking place I've ever been, and every little touch--the set-up of the ceremony site, the beautiful care put into the grounds, the FANTASTIC staff--helped make our wedding what it was. Every single moment was beyond what I'd dreamed. We cannot possibly Casper and the rest of the staff enough for what they did for us.
  
  It's a barn wedding without any of the difficult stuff that usually goes with barn weddings. There are lovely bathrooms, so no need to rent porta potties. The grounds are gorgeous, and golf carts are available to rent for the day (with a driver) for guests who have more trouble walking around. Casper was available to be in touch with whenever we needed leading up to the wedding, and provided a huge comprehensive list of all of the great vendors they've worked with.
  
  I feel so amazingly lucky that we had our wedding here, and cannot recommend it enough!!!!!

  I loved every second of working with The Roxbury Barn for my June 28th wedding. It was the perfect setting before the new bathrooms and new pavilion were built, and now it just has even more added value. If you are looking to get married in the Catskills, this is the place!

  In our search for wedding barns in the Hudson Valley or Catskills, I encountered the Roxbury Barn early in our venue research. On the website it looked romantic, even magical. I didn't set up an appointment to view the barn because I assumed it would be a) too expensive and b) already booked for the season (as we were a little late in the game). Two months later, frustrated after seeing a number of lovely, but not-quite-right venues in the vicinity of Woodstock, NY, I finally sent an email to the proprietors (Casper and Robert). Casper responded promptly and was very professional and kind. We scheduled an appointment to see the barn and never looked back. When we first visited, we were charmed by the hand painted wooden signs directing guests to the wedding site. We began to swoon when we crossed the quaint wooden bridge that spanned a small stream. When we noticed the strings of retro-esque lights lining the yard outside the barn and near the beautiful lilly pond, we fell in love. When Casper took us for a walk through the grounds and we saw several ceremony cites, each more intimate and beautiful than the next, we were married to our decision to have our wedding at the barn. (Note: the grounds were covered in snow on the day we visited. They were even more fantastic in the summer!) Reflecting on our wedding, we agree that the Barn was indeed a magical and decidedly perfect venue for us. In addition to their picturesque and dreamlike nature the barn and grounds benefit from the generosity and patience of their caretaker(s). We felt so fortunate to work Casper, someone who was invested in our experience and truly wanted us to have the best day of our lives; who was so magnanimous as to advise us and our mothers! over the phone on many occasionss leading up to the wedding! His calm, helpful, yet nonjudgemental approach was just what we needed to relax and feel present! The Roxbury Barn is fantastic! (PS- Once you book the barn, make sure to reserve as many rooms as you can at the Roxbury Motel as soon as you can! Also, Karen Neblung is a fabulous hair and make-up artist.)

  Amazing Venue!

  My husband and I were married in September 2019 and we can't say enough about how incredible the venue is. Casper (the owner) went above and beyond to make sure our day was perfect. We couldn't be happier.
