My daughter's wedding was in the planning stages for 18 months. We started off discussing the general framework of the wedding, timing and location. Through the course of time leading up to the wedding we had regular meetings. Savannah and her team work with my daughter and her husband to work out the details of what they wanted. Savannah kept up in the loop in decisions made, how we are doing against the budget and guiding my daughter and her husband on what decisions aligned best with their style and need (e.g., florists, photographer, music, etc.). The event was spectacular over a holiday weekend. Both families had quests from out of town. Savannah and team helped us set-up transportation and accommodations so everyone was well taken care of and felt welcome. -

planner turned into friend
Where do I begin... From the moment we connected with Savannah, we knew we had found someone truly special. Her kindness, dedication, and unwavering support throughout our wedding journey left an indelible mark on our hearts.
Savannah's positive energy and meticulous attention to detail made the planning process not only manageable but enjoyable. She took the time to understand our vision and incorporated our personalities into every aspect of our wedding, ensuring it truly felt like "us."
One of Savannah's greatest strengths is her ability to bring together an incredible team of vendors who share her passion and dedication. From florists to rentals, each vendor she recommended exceeded our expectations, creating a seamless and unforgettable experience for us and our guests.
We could sleep at night knowing that Savannah and her team were handling everything. Even when the weather forecast called for rain, and lots of it, Savannah did not let us stress. She handled everything with grace.
Beyond her professional prowess, it's Savannah's genuine care and compassion that truly set her apart. Savannah's team treated each guest at our wedding as a VIP, ensuring that everyone felt welcomed and cherished throughout the celebration. Words can't describe how thankful I was for their kindness and it meant so much to our guests. For example, they passed out shawls to women who were cold during dinner, found ginger ale and crackers for a guest with a stomach bug, and made sure we always had cocktail (or a water) in our hands. These are just some of the SMALL things that really went a long way and made a big impact.
We are endlessly grateful for Savannah's talents, her amazing eye for design, and her unparalleled work ethic. But above all, it's her kindness and genuine heart that will leave a lasting impact on us. We are so thankful to have had Savannah by our side, and we eagerly look forward to watching her and her business flourish in the future. -

Where do I start? If you hire Savannah for planning your wedding, you will not only be planning someone to logistically handle your wedding day, but someone to come alongside you for your wedding planning journey and help you bring your vision to life and actually enjoy the process.
What really stands out to us about our experience with Savannah, and what stood out to our guests, was the intentionality of every single detail. My husband and I really wanted to share our love for each other, and celebrate how much we love our friends and family as well.
Savannah really appreciated who we are as individuals, and who we are together, and because she understood us and got to know us on that level, she was able to help us bring that to life in our wedding day.
We are both organized planners, so I always thought I wouldn't need a wedding planner. Savannah takes it a step further and makes it beautiful, and the stress melts away. Everyone kept asking me leading up to the wedding, "are you stressed? what do you have left to do?" I almost thought something was wrong with me because my answer was, "It's all done. It's all handled. I'm not really stressed because I know Savannah will take care of things that come up.
Unfortunately on our wedding day we had to change our reception plan to an indoor space we had never even seen (but Savannah had seen it on her sight visit). She weighed all the options and made a space we didn't even like, beautiful. She handled everything with the changes on wedding day, to the point that I didn't even have a worry. Everyone else around me was so concerned about how I felt and how I was dealing with the changes, and my response was, "I'm not stressed because i'm not even dealing with it. Savannah will figure it out and coordinate it all." That was huge!
She even surprised us with personalized napkins and a few other special touches to make the space beautiful!! -

One of a kind event planner!
Savannah is hands down the best around. Just when we thought our wedding was going to fall apart due to COVID19 and the restrictions set forth, Savannah helped last minute to make it extra special and even more beautiful than anticipated. She went above and beyond to make our day just as envisioned, despite the circumstances and intimate for 25 people. She worked with all of our vendors and made it a stress-free day for both the bride and groom. She just told us where to go and when and each detail went flawlessly. She even arranged our flowers on a whim and let me tell you, you would have thought she were a florist. If you are in the market for an event planner from start to finish and want someone who has the vision, patience, kindness, and talent, then Savannah is for you! She is absolutely the total-package. She has a gift and we are so thankful that she was a part of our big day. We love you, Savannah + The Shindig Co.
