    Hands down the best food!

    We had the Smoke Pit cater our wedding. Everything they offer is delicious. We had the hardest time narrowing down the options to go with because it was all SO GOOD! Our guest kept telling us how it was the best wedding food they’ve had.

    Out of this world

    We had the smoke pit catered for our wedding and I can’t say enough when it comes to how happy we are with the service we received. The staff were EXTREMELY attentive, and made sure that everything was perfect for me and my husband the whole night. The food was off the charts amazing and the guests were raving over every single food item. The desserts were also out of this world.
    On top of having the best service and food, there was enough food left at the end of the night that the guests were able to take food to go AND we had plenty to go home with us as well. I can’t thank them enough for making the experience the best we could have asked for and more.

    Amazing food and service!

    We LOVED having The Smoke Pit as our caterer and bartenders. The initial tasting was really fun, and we went home with a lot of delicious food! You really cannot beat the price, the taste, or the service. Alan, the catering director, was so communicative through the entire process. Our guests were RAVING about the food, and The Smoke Pit provided plenty of food so that we were lucky enough to be able to save some leftovers, even with people grabbing seconds!

    Amazing food!

    The smoke pit had the best food and everyone at my wedding made sure we all knew that!! They were so amazing and so nice and I couldn’t have asked for a better caterer!! If you’re having a wedding in NC I 100% recommend! Thank you guys!!

    Overall Incredible in Every Way!!

    You may know that the food at the smoke pit is incredible, so it was an easy choice and not a surprise that it tasted amazing! But beyond that, the service was absolutely amazing! Our servers went above and beyond, interacting with guests, offering to get me and my husband drinks and plates without us moving, and even cleaning up for the venue! They separated extra plates for a few of our guests who were running late due to a car accident and bagged/boxed up all extra food for us to take home at the end of the event! We forgot our own dessert plates and they offered their own even though I had intentionally not paid for them to bring extras. Overall it was an amazing experience, they were wonderful to work with, and my entire wedding guest list was raving about the wonderful boys who served us!!

    The best wedding meal!!

    Alan was amazing to work with! He was timely, professional, and worked with us when it came to our budget. The food was... AMAZING! Our friends and family couldn't stop talking about how yummy the food was. Especially the brisket! We are so glad we went with Smoke Pitt, and would recommend them to everyone!!!

    Amazing food

    We had our wedding catered by the smoke pit. The food and service was amazing! All the guests loved the food!

    Metal wedding!

    The food...HOLY COW!! There was not a hungry person left there. It was so so so delicious! I don't think there was a single person who didn't comment about how good it was. Alan is such a nice person to communicate with, also. The people who came out to help with the catering were such sweet people. Always there to make sure you weren't hungry, thirst or just needed anything. Such wonderful people! Hire them! You won't regret it!

    Great food, communication, and service.

    I do not have enough good words for the crew at The Smoke Pit from Gastonia. Working with their catering coordinator Alan is a breeze. He is knowledgeable and straight forward and made the process of deciding the menu and executing it on the big day pretty simple. Their staff was super nice, hardworking and kind. Thank you guys for providing our guests and us a great meal with outstanding service.

    Ahhmazzing

    The Smoke pit was the BEST choice for food ! We got the pulled chicken and let me tell you that our guest can not stop talking about it. We got well enough for what we paid and the food was worth every penny! Plates forks napkins etc comes with in the price as well. You can’t go wrong with the Smoke pit!

    Great food for a great price!

    Alan was a pleasure to work with from the beginning! He was very quick to respond with any questions we had. The food was amazing, as it always is and there was so much food left over guests took some home and we donated the rest to a local fire department! Would definitely recommend The Smoke Pitt anytime!

    More than just BBQ

    They were set up and ready to serve well prepared. The food was outstanding and there was definitely enough for everyone and then some. We had Chicken Florentine and the beef brisket and both were perfectly prepared and very tasty. Chicken is a hard meat to get right and not be dry...this was very tender and juicy with loads of flavor.

    THE BEST caterer for any event!

    Alan and his team knocked our catering out of the park! Our guests have all told us over and over again how delicious all the meals were, and we couldn't agree more. Everything was hot, the chicken was far from dry like most other catering companies, and every single side got gobbled up quickly. We could not have chosen a better caterer, and I'm so grateful to have had them for our wedding! Every time we miss that amazing brisket, we just hop over to their restaurant and grab some :) I think given how busy they always are also speaks volumes of how amazing they are. Highly recommend!

    Highly recommend The Smoke Pit

    Hiring The Smoke Pit to cater our wedding was probably the smartest decision we made. Jeremy (and team) made the process extremely easy. To this day, I’ve had so many people complement us on the food. My husband is a BBQ snob and even he has no compaints!

    We had 120 guest at our wedding reception and there was more than enough food. It was wonderful southern cooking and everyone enjoyed it! Jeremy and team were so very AWESOME to work with and the prices were very reasonable! Thank you so much for making our special day a success!

    Food was amazing!!!

    All of our guests told us they thoroughly enjoyed the food at our wedding. We paid extra to have brisket added to the menu and it was worth it. Sooooo good! The portions were well worth the price. We had leftovers that we were able to enjoy with family and friends the next evening. It wasn't always the fastest trying to get in touch with someone but so happy with the overall menu they helped us choose, the quality of the food, and the staff serving at the wedding were amazing!!!! Highly recommend and will use again for catering needs. Also note they do much more than traditional BBQ and have a full catering menu of options!
