  I am so happy that we hired Tina for our October wedding at NEO on Locust. I don't know much about flowers and am generally not a visual person, but with just one meeting at her studio and a few Pinterest references for inspiration, she created the most GORGEOUS wedding. The highlight was the chuppah (Jewish Wedding Canopy) that she created for us using my dad's prayer shawl. Truly the dream wedding that I didn't even know I was dreaming of!

  I am so happy that we hired Tina for our October wedding at NEO on Locust.   My mother wanted a job during my wedding planning, so I let her choose the florist. I am SOO grateful that she chose Tina. Everything was gorgeous, exactly what we had asked for, and she was a breeze to work with. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a wonderful florist.

  Tina was awesome to work with! She looked at pictures with me and listened to what I had envisioned for the day and the results were even better than I could have pictured. I was not 100% sure of how I wanted the table arrangements to look, but her suggestions were spot on and the room looked gorgeous! Her team helped with flipping the ballroom from a ceremony setup to the dinner/reception setup....and they did it flawlessly! Tina also made the centerpieces for our rehearsal dinner at Busch Stadium. I would highly recommend her for any event!

  Tina at The Special Event Florist is truly a floral genius! My sister and I had an indoor/outdoor DOUBLE wedding and Tina turned an already beautiful venue into a dream. With just a few pictures and brief description of what we liked, Tina put together gorgeous arrangements (with her own adorable vases and table decor) and bouquets. She even found peonies for us in August! Amazing. Tina was very professional and courteous, she is highly recommended!

  Tina Barrera of The Special Event Florist was creative, easy to work with, flexible and the value was spectacular. Her flowers were positively gorgeous, and my wedding bouquet was my "dream arrangement". Perfect.
  
  She answered my every question, worked with me on several changes and accommodations to my budget, and was extremely fun to work with. I recommend her highly to anyone who appreciates beautiful flowers at a reasonable price, with "personal touch" service.

  We learned about Tina from another vendor and she was great! She was able to work with us to achieve our vision - in spite of the fact that we couldn't describe any of the flowers by name. The bouquets and centerpieces were beautiful, and just what we wanted. She also handled setting up the chuppah for us, which was a great help in terms of coordinating everything. We only had one little glitch in the number of corsages, but it was the number listed in the final order and my fault for not double checking. We would definitely recommend The Special Events Florist and thought Tina was as good, if not better, than the bigger, higher priced florists.

  I absolutely loved my flowers. Tina did an excellent job of incorporating my ideas into her design. She was also so easy to work with and provided ample samples for her previous and recent work. She arrived promptly and provided all of the setup at both the church and reception. She also will pick up the centerpieces at the end of the night for a small fee. (which is totally worth it). One of my clearest memories of the night was looking out from the head table and totally loving our centerpieces. It made my smile even bigger.
  Several brides recommended her to me, and I will recommend her to all future brides.

  Tina was wonderful! She is incredibly reasonable in her pricing and totally creative. She doesn’t do a lot of advertising, but was so great to work with. She’s not super responsive all the time since she’s doing so many weddings, but definitely can dedicates the time when you meet with her and in your last final weeks. My flowers turned out BEAUTIFUL and I received so many compliments on them! She came highly recommended by an industry expert and I was not disappointed.
