2023 Bride - 5/5 stars! We celebrated our wedding at the newly renovated Stanley Hotel Pavilion, and it was a fantastic and seamless experience. The wedding department has undergone a revamp, and everyone was genuinely a pleasure to work with! Crystal and Tripp, the venue directors, were unequivocally the best and most responsive team. They maintained a can-do attitude and not only accommodated every request but were also exceptionally prompt with all their follow-ups. They sincerely wanted us to have the wedding of our dreams. A special shout-out goes to Crystal; she is amazing and felt like a friend throughout the process! With a 280-person wedding, the venue was spacious, flowed well, and was just all around fun. It really is an all-in-one venue. I didn't want guests shifting throughout the day. The flow from the ceremony straight into the cocktail hour, upstairs for dinner, and then back down for dancing was AMAZING. The bridal suite for getting ready was a perfectly added touch and made for a relaxing morning, as once we were there, we didn't have to worry about moving. Finally, the showstopper was their "garage door" of windows in front of the aisle, when our guests saw that open up, it truly was a movie moment. It was an incredible place to get married, and I genuinely wish I could do it all over again. :) Book now and save yourself from looking any further!

I booked my wedding with the Stanley Hotel back in August of 2019, long before COVID hit. During the course of 2020 and 2021, I postponed my wedding twice in hopes of getting past COVID restrictions. By the time the actual event rolled around, I was faced with many challenges including changes to my specific venue space in the Stanley due to renovations, a need for last minute catering changes, and more. Thanks to Crystal Blaskis, the Stanley’s new Director of Events and Operations, we were able to turn a very challenging situation into awesomely successful wedding at the Stanley Hotel.

After she joined the Stanley Hotel team in 2022, Crystal started working her magic almost immediately. She explained the changed venue situation, was deeply apologetic, and brought me out to the Stanley to walk me through my options. She showed me my alternative venue (which was LOVELY and frankly, far better than my original venue at no extra cost) and took me through every detail to make me feel safe and assured that I would not be alone with these changes. She understood the magnitude of the shifts we would have to make as well given that we were only 6+ months out from my wedding date (during one of the most busy wedding years in recent history). And she was such a delight through it all. Always kind, compassionate, clear in her explanations, and willing to go the extra mile.

Crystal not only helped smooth the transition of the venue, but she also went above and beyond to help me find a new caterer — even going so far as to reach out to her personal contacts, communicating on my behalf, and giving valued advice along the way. Without Crystal, I never would have found the amazing caterer that we did, which ended up being one of the biggest hits of the wedding. Even with all her help, the changes were incredibly stressful, so I can’t even imagine what would have happened without her.

Crystal was organized, thorough, experienced, efficient, and so so sweet. She was prompt in responding to my emails and did everything she could to advocate for me and my needs throughout the process, which meant the world to me. I felt safe that I was in good hands with her on my side, no matter what curve balls were thrown. She was literally a godsend for this wedding and I couldn’t have pulled it off without her. Most of my wedding guests spent 3 or 4 days up at the Stanley, including synchronized reservations and details that would have fallen apart without her. The venue was stunning, the grounds were beautiful, and we all had an absolutely unforgettable time. This event is still being raved about to this day and I have her to thank for helping me pull it off. If you’re looking to get married at the Stanley, you’ll be in really good hands with Crystal.

Let me start off by saying that 2020 was the worst year to plan an elopement/wedding., Shannon Faith was amazing at helping me through this! She was always very prompt at emailing me back and answering my questions. We were supposed to get married outside The Stanley, but we changed it the day before to the Billiard Pinon Room. Shannon walked me through me all of the available rooms/spaces and went above and beyond to make what I wanted happen. We were treated like royalty during our stay. Everything was absolutely perfect and I’m so glad we chose this venue. If you want to get married in a place of amazing history surrounded by incredible views, look no further!

We self officiated with a photographer so we didn't use their services but stayed for our honeymoon and it was great. We had a few small issues with the hotel but nothing worth noting for a 100+ year old hotel

The first and one of the best decisions I made during the wedding process. The staff was absolutely terrific. The sales staff was pleasant to work with. These people are very busy. Once the sales staff was finished I worked with a young lady, Amanda Rachocki, who is worthy of distinction. Amanda is the Wedding and Catering Sales Manager. Without fail Amanda always got back to me. She never overpmomised and always and I mean always delivered. You need to understand that this facility might have 5 weddings during any given weekend and as such you need to realize that if you call on a Friday, six months before your wedding, it is quite possible and even probable that it might be early the following week before you get a response. However, Amanda will get back to you. Now if it is near your date you will be well provided for. On a couple of occasions Amanda met with me on site and at least one time she met me on her day off. She was in charge and always responsible, professional, courteous and did everything to make the wedding a success. We had the McGregor Room and a band for the rehearsal/welcome party on a Friday night. Long Peak Lawn for the wedding ceremony, Wonderview Terrace for the post ceremony cocktail party and the Concert Hall with a great band (The Radio Band from Denver) and plated meal for the reception. The food was exceptional (Our guests still rave about the lamb chop appetizers). The food and bar prices were very fair, worth every penny. Amanda and her staff were Incredible to work with during the wedding weekend. They worked well with the band and day of planner. Alex in the group reservations department also was super to work with. She saved the day on several occasions. I can’t stress how nice it was to have all of the activities on the Hotel property. Our guest stayed in a full range of accommodations from 5 bedroom condos to the Lodge, Aspire and the Hotel proper.. I was very pleased with the Presidentiial Cottage with the 5 bedrooms overlooking the wedding venue and it was perfect for the bridal party to get ready. Overall it was a very good experience and I would highly recommend the Stanley Hotel.

This is not 5 Star Review, but Wedding Wire places recent low ranked ones at the bottom. Wished our experience had improved but several issues and poor communication over several months with 3 different staff members who coordinate the venue, the most recent being Amanda resulted in a disappointing experience. No notification that the site where ceremony was held (outside concert hall) was under construction (dirt pile, missing sidewalk)and also was still being painted and wasn’t finished by day of ceremony! Contradictions with pricing. First coordinator gave us a $70 per person quote for reception but by 3rd coordinator it was up to $110. When asked what the difference in extra $40 would be and no clear answer, they backed down to the $70 again. While serving staff was pleasant, the food was extremely lackluster (including both wrong and missing menu items and trying to pass off chilled shrimp for grilled and passing off dry couscous as a creamy, cheesy risotto among other things). The Stanley is resting on its laurels unfortunately. Estes Park is a lovely location for a wedding venue, but our experience planning for daughter’s with The Stanley was disappointing to say the least. Cannot recommend them as a wedding venue.

My fiance and I were married at The Stanely June 4, 2018. It was a perfectly magical ceremony. The hotel was absolutely gorgeous & classy!! Amanda Rachocki, our wedding coordinator was so accommodating. We had to change our wedding venue 1 week before our wedding and she was so helpful & very quick to help us out. She responded to our emails quickly & worked around our schedules to meet with us and book a room for our ceremony. I would highly recommend The Stanley for weddings and any other events, very beautiful. PS The views are out of this world!!!

After looking at numerous wedding venues we decided on the Stanley Hotel due to the wedding planners professionalism and the beautiful atmosphere. Our wedding took place in August (2017) and I can't THANK the staff enough for making my fairy tale wedding come true and how beautiful everything turned out. Brecken ensured that everything ran smoothly and Jersey the Catering Manager did an exceptional job with serving our guests. The guests couldn't stop complimenting how amazing the food was and how beautiful everything was decorated/set-up. What made this perfect was that the Ceremony at the rose garden was right next to our reception so there was no travel time and this also allowed our guests to stay the night. We also stayed at the Lodge which was beautiful and allowed our dog to be part of the wedding. This is a day that not only will me and my Husband remember for the rest of our lives but the guests that attended as well. Because of the experience we had the Stanley will always be a special place for us due to the amazing Ladies that made this happen. Thank you again!!!!

We had the most beautiful and perfect wedding at the Stanley! Gorgeous mountains and great property in the background. There was enough room for all of our guests on site and spectacular food! Guests could also get to downtown Estes Park as well as RMNP and enjoy the downtime before the ceremony. Our coordinator Brecken was friendly, on top of every detail and super pleasant to work with.

Our wedding was absolutely beautiful! We loved every minute of it. Hillary was a wonderful and accommodating event coordinator and the lunch buffet was amazing. All my guests said it was the best salmon they ever had. You can't beat the location and although the prices are a bit high, it was worth it!

Although our destination wedding hasn't taken place yet, working with Hillary at the Stanley Hotel has been great. She is professional, extremely responsive and accommodating. I am looking forward to our 9.20.15 wedding!

My son's rehearsal dinner was this weekend and it went perfectly. Hillary was fantastic and did everything she could to make this night special for us. If you choose the stanley request Hilary! I am thrilled with my experience with the stanley.

I had my wedding at The Stanley Hotel and it was perfect. The Stanley is a beautiful hotel with remarkable views. The staff was great to work with especially Jersey who made our reception amazing and Hillary our wedding coordinator who made sure every detail was taken care of.

The Stanley Hotel was a PERFECT venue for our wedding of 60 people. We were married in the beautiful Rose Garden and we were in the Music Room for the reception. The staff couldn't have been more wonderful and not one thing was amiss. Everyone attending loved it all. Estes Park has lots of activities and the Hotel is charming.

JoLeah Booth--the Events Manager--and the entire banquet and other hotel staff were so professional and very efficient in helping my daughter have a beautiful wedding. The food was superb and the entire wedding event went very smoothly. All the guests were very impressed. I recommend anyone who wants to have a Colorado mountain wedding to hold it at The Stanley Hotel.

The staff at the Stanley are friendly and professional. They were very accommodating when we had changes due to bad weather, and made sure that everyone was comfortable and happy at all times.

The catering department at The Stanley and our wedding coordinator did an exceptional job! Planning the wedding was so easy to do. All we had to do was fill out a resume, and our coordinator and the staff took care of it! They were also very quick to respond to any questions I had. I was very impressed with the service we received the day of the wedding. Our wedding coordinator checked in on me a few times before the ceremony, and she (along with probably 4 or 5 other staff members) were present at the ceremony to assist with cues. It was so well organized. The Stanley does a lot of weddings...and you can tell, because they are pros at it! I'm so glad we got married there! Not only is it beautiful, but the service can't be beat!

Carrie Carter and Joleah Booth of the Stanley Hotel made our wedding a great success! We had a great time and couldn't of picked a better venue than this. The views were amazing and the staff was the best! They really made us feel as if we were the only two people on Earth that day! They were also very helpful throughout the entire process. We would recomend the Stanley to anyone wanting the perfect wedding!

I can't say enough nice things about the Stanley! We had our wedding there over the Memorial Day weekend and everything was just amazing. The event staff was very friendly and helpful in planning during the months before the wedding. Carrie was especially good. Everything turned out just the way we planned and it all exceeded our expectations. Friendly staff, beautiful setting, great food, and the list goes on. Since the Stanley is a high end destination, the price is of course a little high but you get what you pay for with venues and the Stanley is definitely worth the cost. I would have paid even more! The actually hotel amenities are also great and the rooms are very comfortable. I highly recommend the Stanley Hotel!!

The Stanley Hotel is a beautiful location, the staff is very friendly and accommodating, and the help in planning and making final arrangements was excellent.

I had my hair and make-up done at The Parlour at the Stanley Hotel by Megan, and she did an amazing job! My hair made it through the wind of the Rocky Mountain Nat'l Park. After our ceremony, we had a big dinner at the Cascades Restaurant in the Stanley Hotel, and the food was excellent! The service was wonderful, and they even honored our special request to use the music room for our first dance, father-daughter dance, and toast. It was a beautiful night, and the Stanley was very accommodating.

Loved the historic hotel and the setting in the mountains. Candace was great to work with as well as the entire hotel staff. It was the best weekend - great service, great food, we had a blast and so did our guests. It is a gorgeous place to get married!

We highly recommend the Stanley Hotel for your wedding! We were a semi-destination wedding and held 4 days worth of events for our guests (welcome cocktail party, rehearsal dinner, wedding and brunch), as well as many hotel rooms, as 75% of our guest list was from out of town.

The venue offers so many gorgeous options for ceremony & reception space, beautiful views, luxury accommodations and dining experiences and a great destination for guests traveling from other states. Our guests had so much fun exploring the Stanley!

We had our ceremony & reception at the Concert Hall, which provided such a wonderful experience. The building is beautiful & we loved that our reception was separate from the main hotel because it made our event much more private and intimate. It became "our space" as our ceremony, cocktails & plated dinner were all in the same area. This resulted in such a great flow of the events of the night.

The staff was unbelievable and exceeded our expectations throughout our entire week-long stay. Upon our arrival through the day we departed, all of the hotel's staff (front desk, banquet, wedding coordinators) were super accommodating, friendly and helpful. Due to the nature of the size of our events and our presence on the property, we were a bit high-maintenance, and the staff continued to go above and beyond, never batting an eye and exceeding our expectations. By the end of the week, the staff knew us all by name!

Each and every event and all hotel room accommodations were smooth and seamless. This is in thanks to our event coordinator, Candace Carnahan, who provided an exceptional level of service and professionalism throughout the entire planning process. She was there by our side or with the vendors the entire day, working her butt off!

We highly recommend using the Stanley Hotel! Worth every penny to have the best wedding experience we could ever have imagined!
