  This B&B/venue was everything I ever imagined for my wedding day! From the moment I expressed interest in the venue, Jean was welcoming, attentive and so very, very accommodating. She gave multiple tours of the venue as members of my wedding party, friends and family would come into town randomly throughout our engagement and was also very easy to work with as we decided last minute to do our rehearsal dinner at The Stratton House and changed the number of rooms we needed that weekend a couple of times. She is sweet and makes your stay even more enjoyable! We stayed two nights and had an amazing breakfast both mornings.
  
  The venue is newly renovated but has its original character and some southern charm. It is beautiful down to the smallest detail and did not even require any décor to host our wedding! The Stratton House is jaw dropping and I cannot stop looking at pictures from our big day.
  
  I had always wanted a backyard wedding (my backyard is too small), and The Stratton House made my dream a reality. We opted to go tent-less for the reception, the sunset was beautiful and we danced under the stars all night! The bridal suite (nearly the entire upstairs portion of the house) was perfect for getting ready, so spacious (we had about 15 people up there) and beautiful for photos!
  
  The Stratton House now holds many, many memories for me that I will cherish forever. If you're looking for a beautiful outdoor, natural (by that I mean not dressed up in fancy/extravagant décor) wedding that can hold a small party or up to 200 (we had about 100), please choose The Stratton House! You will be so happy you did!

  Magical! As soon as the ring was on my finger, we knew we wanted to have our reception at The Stratton House. And on May 20th, we did just that! The beautifully restored home is like none other and made the entire wedding day relaxing and calming. The bridal party got ready in the bride's room, and the impeccably decorated bedrooms and outdoor porches made our pictures unique and timeless. The outdoor landscape was perfect for our tent reception and it truly was a night to remember. The management team worked with our wedding planners with ease and made every effort to accommodate our requests. If you're considering this venue for an event, just go ahead and book it!! You and your guests will never forget it!

  This venue was absolutely beautiful. It provided the indoor and outdoor environment we wanted. All of our guests could not get over the character of the house! My husband and I stayed at the Stratton House that night which was so convenient and the accommodations were outstanding. I highly recommend the Stratton House to any bride! It truly made our wedding day!

  Our daughter's wedding reception was held here and it was a wonderful event. We were the first event scheduled here after their renovation of the home. They did everything they could to ensure the home would be ready to have a beautiful reception. The Parr's and their event coordinator Jean Stone went above and beyond measure to make sure our event was exactly what we envisioned. I highly recommend The Stratton House as an exceptional event venue. We also stayed at the house as bed & breakfast guests and it was great. The bedrooms and bathrooms have been well thought out to ensure they are comfortable, beautiful and inviting. We had a wonderful time in this beautiful home and we highly recommend The Stratton House!
