We recently had a baby shower for my daughter at The Turn. The owners and staff were not only very professional but a pleasure to work with. The venue is very unique. If you are looking for something different this is the place for you. The vintage decor and dish ware really made the event feel intimate and warm. Our guest were thrilled with everything and so were we. Thank you Curt, Wendy, Becky and Allison for making my daughter’s baby shower such a success.

I have thrown so many showers throughout the years and while I enjoy hosting and planning, they are always exhaustive. Between setup, cleanup, cleaning my house to prepare for the event, and purchasing décor items, I don't always get to enjoy the actual day. But that is a thing of the past since discovering the hidden gem that is The Turn Event Center. They provided the perfect "Pinterest Inspired" backdrop to host my best friend's bridal shower. From the personalized chalk board wall, the beautiful vintage china, and the floral arrangements it was all beautiful. Guests raved about how perfect the venue was. It was accessible for all guests, which I appreciated. I was able to bring in my own food and drinks. Wendy, Curt, and Becky made this day so easy and carefree for the hostess. I was actually able to enjoy the party! My sister recently got engaged and once she sets her wedding date, I am booking a date for her shower there. I don't want to miss my chance at working with this venue again!

The Turn Vintage was the perfect place to host our son's (and our future daughter's) rehearsal dinner. The owners and event coordinator were great to work with, so comfortable and accommodating. The evening of our rehearsal dinner was magical. It was a beautifully decorated
romantic atmosphere! The bride and groom said, "The Turn Vintage was exactly what we wanted for our rehearsal dinner. It was perfectly intimate, gorgeous, and eclectic. We couldn’t have imagined anything more perfect.”

This venue is one of a kind perfect for a bridal shower. The staff is easy and enjoyable to work with.

Stole my deposit, definitely not a respectful small business. Paid a relatively large deposit before Covid came around, our engagement party was supposed to be in April. When everything was forced to shut down due to Covid, Curt, the owner, tried to reschedule our 75 person event for July, but Kentucky was still under state order to no events over 25 people. My fiancé is a nurse and is very strict when it comes to putting people at risk and did not want to break the law, so she did not agree to July. He completely stopped responding to her and kept the deposit and said it wasn’t his fault.

I reached out to Curt myself and said I’d be willing to compromise with a partial refund because as a small business owner, I do understand the struggle Covid has caused. He acted as though he’d work with me, and now has never responded to me either. Basically, he stole my money and refuses to even respectfully respond. Be careful working with them.
