They did an incredible job for our dessert table and cutting cake. Everything was stunning, delicious and reasonably priced including delivery all the way to Akron, NY and the setup including trays was phenomenal. Can’t wait to order from them again!! -

If you’re looking for a bakery for your wedding cake, look no further! A wonderful family owned business-extremely professional and organized, not to mention delicious! Our sweetheart cake to cut was perfect, and everyone raved about our sheet cake we served. Everything from the tastings, the communication, and the execution of the day was excellent. Highly recommend! 🍰 -

Our wedding cake from The Village Bake Shoppe was everything we wanted! We chose the almond cake with white chocolate mousse filling and buttercream frosting. It was delicious and beautiful! Chelsea was a wonderful consultant from the tasting (after which she sent us home with an extra sample for our parents!) to helping accommodate our topper, the process was easy and the results were perfect! The price was also reasonable for an "all real tiered" cake for 250 10/10 -

They simply knocked it out of the park for us! The exceeded our expectations for our cake! Everything was exactly what we asked for it to be and everyone just raved about the cake! The cake was so beautiful! Its what i pictured and more! And not only for our wedding cake i have had another special cake made and again they knocked it out of the park! Their flavors are just spot on and the cake itself was very moist not dry! We will be continuing to go back to them for their services! I highly recommend using them for a very creative and just how you want it cake! They are very willing to please their customers and they do an excellent job!! -

Off the chart dessert and cakes!
The Village Bake Shoppe knocked it out of the park with our wedding cake and desserts! The reviews were amazing! The overall experience was fantastic and the desserts were truly fantastic! We also ordered a groom's cake from them, and they truly brought out vision to life! Look know further for the the best wedding cake! -

I cannot say enough good things about Village Bake Shoppe. The owner, Mike, personally met with us and provided several (huge!) samples of their cake flavors. We knew we wanted to do a simple one-tier cake and cupcakes rather than a big multi-tier cake, and we needed both dairy-free and gluten-free options. Mike didn’t bat an eye at the request for dairy-free or gluten-free, and gave us good help and guidance on how to do a few options. Most importantly, the cake and cupcakes were phenomenal. Our dairy-free chocolate cake with white icing was truly better than a lot of traditional cakes I’ve had before. Everyone who had cupcakes said they were absolutely incredible, and the price for all of it was extremely reasonable. We will very much enjoy taking the drive out to Lewiston to regularly visit the bakery! -

Jessica Sent on 10/19/2016I have always loved the Village Bake Shoppe, so when I began planning my wedding, I knew that our cake had to come from them. Lindsay was so incredibly helpful when we had our first meeting together. Our guests have been raving about our cake (strawberry swirl with strawberry mousse, white buttercream) and how it was the best cake they've ever tasted. Lucky for us, the bake shop sells our cake in a cake-in-the-cup version! ;-)
My mother ordered 200 additional cookies and they were also a huge hit with our guests. You really cannot go wrong when you work with the Village Bake Shoppe! Thank you for helping make our wedding day perfect. -

I was having some difficulty deciding on what kind of cake I wanted, and our budget and size of wedding did not really allow for anything too big. I finally just gave up and handed over the creative reigns to Lindsay. I was so glad I did. She came up with a classy cake better than what I had imagined I could afford and this was the FIRST wedding cake I've eaten that was not only beautiful but delicious too, and all of our guests raved about it! My only advice would be is to be specific about your budget, and ask what options you have for that price. You can trust this bakery to deliver on what you want and need. One thing I did not have to worry about on that day. -

User2510728 Sent on 01/19/2016Lindsay is great and she made our cake look exactly like I wanted. She worked with me to help fit my budget as well. We got 2 cookie trays, a smaller 3 tiered cake and a full sheet cake, which saved us some money. The cookies must have been great because I didn't even get to try one!! She let us try endless amounts of flavors and combinations. By the way, her cake cups are honestly what dreams are made of! I love that she has a fondant free bakery (only Italian butter creme is available). She let me borrow her gorgeous cake stand, if I just promised to bring it back. Simple as that, no extra charge or deposit to make sure that I returned it. Her little shop is a bit far away from me, but it's worth the drive up to Lewiston. I really loved that she gave us the option to save the top layer or have a brand new one made for our 1st anniversary. We chose to have a new one made, and I'm already looking forward to it!! -

User1774634 Sent on 08/21/2014I picked this bakery because we have had cakes from there, which are all so yummy, plus we know that it is all homemade, not from a box! I would love to give them a 5 but because of last minute bump, I can't. We had cupcakes instead of cake for a wedding. We spoke to the owner about this many months prior. I made a change in the frosting design to go with our nautical them and I wanted nautical wrappers - which they were flexible on and even found the wrappers for us. The bump, 10 days prior to the wedding when I was finalizing things, I was asked how the cupcakes would be displayed. I was in shock because we spoke of this, it was to be a tower with our cake on the top. That conversation is when I found out they don't have a tower for us to us! I had to scramble to figure our how to display the cupcakes and the cake! I found a tower, added some blue lights in the center of the tower, a nautical keepsake book to rise part of the tower with the cake centered in the middle of both towers. We had rave reviews on how pretty our cupcake table looked. Suggestion, go over and over how you want your cupcakes displayed!
