Gorgeous Venue for Perfect Wedding
The Virgil is such a beautiful hidden gem. I barely needed extra decoration because the venue looks so good. I liked that it has a lot of history, plenty of space & parking for my guest, and getting ready rooms for both the bride and groom. Besides being a beautiful venue, what also sold me what that I can have both ceremony & reception at the same place. Cocktail hour was outside, and it could accommodate two food trucks. Also the venue is prepared with tents and heaters in case of bad weather. The staff at the Virgil are great with communication and had recommendations & advice when I needed it. I highly recommend having your wedding at the Virgil, because my wedding was perfect. -

I had my wedding reception at the Virgil and it was so beautiful! The team was easy to work with and I felt prices were fair. I like that they recommend local vendors and have local alcohol at the bar -

We had our gorgeous wedding at the Virgil yesterday and I can't tell you how perfect it was.
For $2500ish we had full access to the beautiful renovated church setting for 3 hours + rehearsal. The rehearsal was perfect.
On the day of, chairs were set up exactly as planned, the bride and grooms rooms were set up with chocolates, thank you cards and a bucket of whatever drinks we wanted in there.
We opted to take advantage of their beautiful bar and hired a bartender for an extremely reasonable add on. People were amazed that they could have a drink before the ceremony.
Callie and Sonia are both extremely proficient in ensuring events run smoothly, they were both so kind and gracious throughout the entire process.
Would absolutely recommend. -

Absolutely Gorgeous Venue
The venue is absolutely gorgeous, and my husband and I are so glad we chose them for our wedding. Abi was so great the day of that I had no worries about how things were going, and Rachel was so sweet, though we were only able to interact with her for the first visit and then through email.
My one criticism, I hope, is more constructive than disappointed. If the facility could put together some sort of information package for couples at the beginning, that would have been so helpful! Things like how many tables they have available, different layouts for the reception, etc. would have been greatly appreciated for planning purposes. Instead, every few weeks I would have to reach out and ask whatever question popped into my head—what the table dimensions were, whether I would have to provide linens, things like that.
Rachel and Abi were always very prompt in their responses, but also didn’t offer up additional information—they answered the question you asked and that was it. I didn’t find out, however, that we could have them provide coffee for our reception until about a month out, when we met with Abi for the final meeting.
All in all, we don’t regret choosing the Virgil at all, we just hope that for other couples down the road, planning goes a bit more smoothly than it did for us. It all worked so beautifully the day of, though, so it was absolutely worth it!The Virgil's reply:
