This venue could not have been more perfect for my daughter's 4th of July wedding. With sweeping views of Utah County we were able to see fireworks set off from every direction. The room was kept cool enough for a 104 degree temp outside, it was comfortable to dance the night away inside. There was a military discount that helped with the odds and ends extra charges but Natalie was very easy to work with. The price was reasonable and the party was amazing. Loved this venue! It was everything my daughter could have wanted.

The Vista is a wonderful place to have your reception and/or ceremony! I held my reception here and they were just marvelous! Since no one had the afternoon before my wedding booked, they allowed us to come in the day before and set up. We were able to get most of the wedding stress off having most of everything set up and ready to go the next day. They also provided rental furniture and accents at a great discount as they were priced at a warehouse price. Having all those resources available at the venue made it a lot easier as we didn't have to deal with the hassle of bringing in an outside rental company.

The view is just stunning from their venue. You can overlook the whole valley with the pergola sitting out on the lawn making pictures fantastic! The room is full of windows making it feel so open and welcoming. They also have seating outside making it an option of having a both indoor/outdoor reception. It was priced very reasonably compared to everything else I had looked at. Since it is just an empty venue, there is lots of room for creativity and space to have what you would want for your reception. You don't have to use anyone's catering, but you will have to have something catered as the kitchen does not allow for warming or cooking.

The people were wonderful to work with and would highly recommend looking into this place if you are trying to find an elegant, reasonably priced venue.

The Vista at Cedar Hills is a gorgeous venue, and the fact that it's city-owned makes it a steal of a deal. The Vista staff was very professional and set up the venue up exactly how I wanted them to. My only complaint is that I wish they were more flexible on when you could get into the venue to set up decor and get ready, but I understand that they have to cater to golfing events as well. Overall though, the venue is so gorgeous, you don't need a ton of decor....so it was worth the slight crunch to set up everything.

This is THE MOST beautiful Reception Site that I have EVER looked into, visited, seen, ANYthing, its the BEST. It's view is over the ENTIRE valley RIGHT in front of the temple and the sunset is BREATHtaking. We had our reception start just as the sun was about to set, because we wanted everyone to see the sunset. soo amazing. The name of the site is the "Sunset Room" and its 3 walls glass windows and doors, so you can completely see outside. The room's ceiling is permanantly decorated with the white sheet-looking things that hang and droop and make it look SO SO SO elegant. Another good thing about it is that you can pay their decorator to decorate anything you would want, (lights, ivy, pillers, etc) or you can do it yourself (we didn't even decorate because the room already looks So great and sooo perfect) AND you get to hire your own cater or have your ward or family do it theirself.

This space is absolutely gorgeous! It has huge windows on three of the four walls give an outdoor feel to an indoor space. There is space for quite a few tables and a wood floor to dance on. There is also easy access to outside where there is a gazebo overlooking Utah lake and plenty of space for more tables and chairs. They provide square table cloths as part of the reception booking price, but they have decorations, table cloths, vases, and tons of other things that you can rent for a very reasonable price. They also have a lighting specialist that they work with that has a lot of different designs and options available and he did a wonderful job. I absolutely loved having my reception here, but the reason why I didn't give them 5 out of 5 is because they can be difficult to get ahold of sometimes.

This venue was really cheap and beautiful. It was a tent with a large overhead drape, so it didn't need much decorating. It looks over the valley and is beautiful. Great place

Loved everything about the venue, until the event coordinator started trying to put stuff away at 8. We had the place rented until 10 and we are responsible to clean everything up. My guests felt like they were getting kicked out so many of them left early, I paid a lot for that venue and there were some things we didn’t get to due like garter toss, bridal bouquet toss, just to name a few. Which was very disappointing, you have your only wedding once.
