  We are having my bridal shower here and it is absolutely perfect. The venue itself has multiple areas for a wedding, reception, shower, or any other type of event. My shower will be held in the loft area, which has beautiful stained glass windows and an open window over looking the library (which is perfect seeing that my wedding theme is books!). The outside of Wagnalls is absolutely stunning. It may be a library, but on the outside it looks like a medieval castle in the middle of a small, quaint town. The staff is extremely friendly and so easy to work with; I would recommend this venue to anyone looking for a beautiful place to hold any type of event.

  The location is beautiful! A loft overlooking a massive stained glass window and antique chandeliers - oh, and books!
  
  There is a lovely outdoor garden area with a stone trellis and hearth for a ceremony (weather permitting - it is Ohio, afterall).

  Gorgeous Venue

  We had our wedding on Saturday, May 17, 2014. It rained off and on the entire day. My overall experience with the venue was Good. Despite all the hiccups
  
  Leslie the event Cordinator was very easy to work with. Especially With the very short timeframe in which This was set up.
  
  it's beautiful. Even when the gardens have not come up yet. But If you're looking for something Floral push to June. By mid May there are few if any flowers.
  
  My wedding including the party had about 90 guests, we found it difficult to find places outside in which everyone could be present for a ceremony.
  
  Should you have to deal with rain: with the exception of the room in which you were doing your reception there is no place to move your ceremony inside.
  ( note That you need to purchase rental chairs for any outside ceremonies as they do not allow their indoor folding chairs to be used outside.)
  
  The kitchen space for the catering is ample, Includes a dishwasher. for a small fee they will provide you with use of all their serving pieces dishes and silverware. Totally worth it! Just make sure your catering company is willing to wash them.
  
  We did have some problems with keeping the loft space cool. It stayed warm even with the windows open and fans. But maintenance really tried their best.
  
  Alcoholic beverages are permitted with the purchase of a $1mil dollar event insurance policy. They are very specific about the way it needs worded and typed. The color of the text kept us from being able to serve at our reception :(
  
  Over all the venue is too beautiful to pass up A walk through and consider. It fit our Antique Victorian Garden theme wedding well. I will create a link to share here so you can see the pictures. ????
