  November Wedding at Monte Bello Estate

  The Walk-ins were amazing! We had an absolute blast at our wedding and the dance floor was packed the entire time. Joe Matise was our officiant for our wedding as well and did such an amazing job. They made our dreams come true and made sure our day went by smoothly. I had nothing to worry about with Joe in charge!

  The Walk-Ins

  The Walk-ins were absolute incredible!!! They completely stole the show. All of our guests were raving about how awesome they were, even guests who don't prefer bands. It has been 3 months since our wedding, and we are STILL getting calls/texts about the band and how much fun they were. They accommodated every single one of our requests from start to finish. The lead singer Joe is professional, fun, organized, and outgoing. Joe also helped coordinate the wedding party, before/during the wedding. He had no problem jumping in and lending a hand. If we wanted them to play "dj" style songs they did, any song we requested, they sang. They really outdid themselves! They were engaged as much or as little as we wanted. I honestly cannot speak about them enough. I wish we could hire them for every occasion!

  Walk-Ins truly made the day!

  Joe and his band are very talented and can play anything. During the planning phase, Joe met with us in person twice and also zoom a few times. He multitasks with ease and engages the crowd to keep everyone dancing until the end. Joe and another band member played songs at our ceremony (procession and recession), during cocktail hour, and the entire band for the reception. They seem to have a standard wedding play list but also played songs on our list with reminders. Great job and an incredible value. People that attended our wedding still talk about how amazing they were!

  We hired The Walk Ins to play at our wedding and we got never ending compliments from our friends and family!! The music, performance, and planning was seamless. They’re incredibly talented and Joe helped us plan the timeline of our day and prep the day of. We’d recommend this band to anyone, they made the wedding so much fun!

  The Walk-ins made the night! The entire group was professional and so much fun! Music was outstanding, all of our guests could not say enough great things about the Walk-ins. Would highly recommend them to all!

  The Walk-ins have been awesome to work with throughout the entire wedding process. We met with Joe several times before the big day and he truly took the weight off our shoulders making sure he understood our vision and having everything under control. We had such a fun day and were completely worry-free. Not only was Joe amazing but the entire band was extremely professional and super entertaining. Having the band interact with our wedding party added such a personal touch. We highly recommend the Walk-ins for any event, small or big! Truly the best !!

  Using Joe and the Walk-Ins was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding! Joe was incredibly easy to work with as he talked us through our timeline and reception planning process. He was willing to meet up with us multiple times to discuss planning, he made the entire wedding. Our guests were RAVING about The Walk-Ins and 2 months after the wedding, one of my guests booked them for their wedding. Joe was interactive with the crowd, dancing like an animal through our guests, an absolute joy to witness - we had the best time ever. He was also our officiant and made our ceremony so personal and nice for us, even though we barely gave him any guidance at all. Everyone kept coming up to us telling us it was the best ceremony they've ever seen, and I am not kidding when I say we barely gave the guy any guidance!!! SO FREAKIN GOOD I WANNA DO IT ALL OVER AGAIN! Book them. Don't even think twice. Just book them and you will be SO HAPPY.

  I've seen The Walk-Ins at several weddings, but it was the first time I saw them at a co-workers wedding that I knew they would be my wedding band one day! They went above and beyond and we couldn't be happier with our choice! We've had so many compliments already! They made the night! Hands down make the wedding as seamless as possible and everything ran smoothly from the entrances to the last song. They are very versatile and even did a song on the fly they never played before at the grooms request.

  Walk Ins Crushed It!

  Fantastic experience all around. The Walk Ins bring amazing energy the whole night and play all different kinds of music to make sure any group has a blast. We added the woman vocalist and a saxophone which was great. Joe is an awesome down to earth guy. We met with him twice before the wedding and communicated quite a bit before the big day. Joe and the band are true professionals and even keep cocktail hour, dinner, etc on schedule. Everyone was raving about how awesome they were at our wedding. Couldn’t recommend more!

  Unbelievably fantastic!

  We could not have asked for a better vendor to play live music on our wedding night! The Walk-Ins were absolutely amazing to work with leading up to our big day, and even more amazing to dance all night long to! Weeks later we are still receiving so many compliments from our guests on how great the Walk-Ins were!

  Music - and so much more!

  Joe Matise and the Walk-Ins were one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. We booked them without ever hearing them live because we were so impressed with Joe's professionalism, organization, friendliness, and general competence with all things party! During our first meeting with him, he said "I don't want you thinking about anything on your big day, if anyone has problems or concerns they come to me and I will solve them." We were able to put our confidence in him and his crew that they would make the reception run as smoothly as possible. And they did - Joe provided constant gentle reminders of timing throughout the night so that I never felt rushed but also never felt behind schedule. He makes a great MC and his transitions were wonderful. And the music - he kept everyone on the dance floor even during the band's breaks when a playlist was on. Also, I wanted to surprise my husband with a song during dinner accompanied by the band, and texted Joe ahead of time about this. He immediately was encouraging and supportive of my plan and it went off without a hitch (apart from me almost breaking down in tears multiple times during the performance)!
  
  I highly recommend the Walk-Ins for your wedding, as they will provide not only great music but also wonderful organization, MC-ing, and a sense of peace that the night will go exactly how it is meant to because if anything happens Joe and his crew will fix it without you even knowing. Pure professionalism!

  They are the best you could possibly get!

  If you're looking for your wedding or special event band-- you can stop looking. This is it! Joe and the Walk-Ins were absolutely amazing during our wedding in August. They were so lively, entertaining and kept the party going from start to finish! I got SO many compliments on them all night and long after the wedding!! They really know how to throw a party.. and for an amazing price too! I stopped Joe multiple times throughout the night to have him make announcements for me and he made it so seamless and natural. He was also a wonderful MC for the toasts and announcements. We truly couldn't have chosen a better band. Everyone loved them!

  If you're looking for your wedding or special event band-- you can stop looking. This is it! Joe and the Walk-Ins were absolutely amazing during our wedding in August. They were so lively, entertaining and kept the party going from start to finish! I got SO many compliments on them all night and long after the wedding!!   Amazing!

  We Hired The Walk-ins for our wedding band. BEST DECISION EVER! They were amazing!! The offered live music during the ceremony, live music for cocktail hour, and even live during dinner! Joe, the lead singer, was engaging with our guest, they LOVED IT. The day after everyone could not stop talking about how amazing the band was. The dance floor was packed most of the night, people said the only reason they weren't dancing is because they need a break to catch the breath! I would hire them again in a heart beat!!

  Absolutely perfect!

  Joe was so awesome and spoke to us multiple times before the wedding both in person, via FaceTime, on the phone, and texts! We chose our main songs and then completely trusted Joe and the band to call the shots on songs to play after we saw them live several times and they were spot on. I did not leave the dance floor the entire night (the bride) and we knew we wanted live music for our special day so it was important for us to find a band that everyone would enjoy. They also covered our cocktail hour and dinner music. All of our guests said how much they enjoyed our band and everyone made it to the dance floor for at least a few songs. Would not have changed this decision for anything! Thank you guys for jamming all night with us! Hope to see you again soon!

  Amazing Experience!

  Joe and the Walk-ins did an absolutely incredible job! Even during the chaos of a global pandemic, Joe took the time to meet with us a few months before the wedding. We could tell right away how down to Earth he was. He put our minds at ease as he explained he would take care of all music from start to finish—including the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception. We wanted a variety of music and Joe catered to all different ages and included various genres. Joe was completely accommodating and adapted to even the most last minute changes—switching the spot for set up, and even taking requests from me (the bride) as he was in the middle of singing a song. There was one point in which I requested a song and Joe pulled up the lyrics on his phone. He delivered an amazing performance without ever practicing the song! Joe completely worked the crowd and even took selfies with our guests. Everyone raved about the Walk Ins after the wedding. It also spoke volumes that our photographer, who has photographed hundreds of weddings in the U.S. and abroad, reached out for Joe’s contact because she was so impressed with their performance. Going into the wedding day, I can’t stress how much comfort we had knowing Joe was there to coordinate many of the most important components that make a wedding successful and memorable. In short, you cannot go wrong with Joe and the Walk-ins. They provide top notch entertainment at a surprisingly affordable price.

  Guests on the dance floor all night!

  I can not say enough good things about The Walk-Ins! My guests were raving about them for days after the wedding. We did the full band & it was SO worth it. There is not another band in the midwest that is this good of quality & reasonable when it comes to price. Joe, the head member, is super organized & made our day a breeze!! Their range of music is one that kept everyone on the dance floor, from young to old. I wish I could have them at every event of mine.

  Exceeded All Expectations

  I was a little nervous about hiring a band over a DJ because I’ve seen some so-so bands at weddings in the past. The Walk Ins were amazing! Joe was especially great as an MC helping keep everything on track and flowing well, which took a lot of stress off myself and the bride to just enjoy the night. All of our guests raved about the band afterward. They did a great job mingling with the dance floor and guests to get them involved. I have never seen such a packed dance floor all night. Best of all they are very reasonably priced. I would personally recommend adding the horn section as well. If you have room in the budget, well worth upgrading over a standard DJ service.

  The Walk-Ins made my wedding truly incredible! Joe is not only talented, but he really knows how to start and keep a party moving. He interacted, sang, and danced with all our guests (even those who could not get out of their seats) and made sure everyone was having fun - and they did! Countless people came up to me that night or thereafter (even friends who don't live in IL) and said they were the best band they heard at a wedding and asked for their contact info for their NYC weddings!
  
  He also adapted to our traditions by playing southside Italian music, invited my husband to play with them (he plays the piano), and of course passed the mic around to anyone who wanted to sing a tune (including me :). I cannot say enough good things about Joe and the Walk-Ins; you won't regret hiring them!!

  The best wedding band!

  The walk ins are amazing. We were married in Sept 2019 and still getting comments 4 months later. Our dance floor was full, people loved how interactive they were and it feels like the band feeds off the energy. We’ve seen them three times and always amazing. I will day Joe is so relaxed about everything that sometimes I felt like details may be missed- trust me they won’t be. He’s done this a million times and truly can manage anything that comes up.
