    Best TX River Wedding Site

I honestly wish I could give TWP 100 stars! My (now) husband and I were specifically looking to get married by the river. After an extensive search, I could only find 3 places in the Texas Hill Country that would actually allow you to get married BY (not just near or with a view) the river. We toured all the venues but TWP, blew them all out of water. They allowed us to tour the facility multiple times, taking us to each ceremony sight, into the cabins, explaining different aspects of the sight and different ways we could use the venue. We also attended several Sunday brunches and vendor showcases there. From the very beginning, they were in constant contact with me via email and phone calls. We had two different planning meetings and they used an awesome website that helped myself and their staff all plan collaboratively with checklists and timelines. Chelsea was our lead coordinator and she was FANTASTIC. We stayed decided to stay two nights before our wedding at TWP and they greeted us and left us with complimentary champagne and glasses. We did two rehearsal run throughs the day before to work out all the kinks. The day of they were fabulous! They checked in that morning and asked a few questions but really worked hard behind the scenes. We were married at the "On the Rocks" location and it was stunning. They drove many of our guests down to the river site from the parking lot too. During the ceremony and reception, I hardly knew they were there except they would come get me when it was time to cut the cake, dance, or timeline events. They all worked so hard to make my day perfect and I am truly grateful. We also rented out all of the cabins for our friends and family to stay and they all had a really positive experience. If you are looking for a beautiful Hill Country wedding with one of a kind service, TWP is the place to do it.

    Gorgeous Property

I cannot recommend The Waters Point enough! When looking for venues, we wanted a unique venue in the hill country with a beautiful property to give us an outdoor, romantic scenery. TWP delivered that and more! The moment we stepped onto the property, it took my breath away! There were so many awesome placed to take pictures and my photographer loved the options and views - especially on the river during golden hour. Its an absolute hidden gem and you would never know you are right next to downtown Wimberley. Through the planning process, Natalie, Chelsea, and the rest of the coordinating team were so accommodating and went above and beyond for my husband and I to make our day better than we could ever expect! They offered great packages which includes SO much and at a great rate. Bonus for us was having lodging on onsite as an option for not just myself but the bridal party and extended family so that we were able to make our wedding a weekend full of celebration. Thank you SO MUCH to the TWP crew for everything - I will recommend you all over and over again!

If you're able to secure your target date at Waters Point- TAKE IT!! There are so many great things to say. The obvious is the location. Waters Point is gorgeous with stunning scenery. And the town of Wimberley was the perfect way to introduce our out-of-town guests and family to the Texas spirit.

But when you're planning a wedding (especially one as large as ours-- 350 people across two days), it makes a huge difference to be working with kind, competent, and supportive vendors both during the planning stage and the day-of.

Natalie (who co-owns with her husband Mark) was just incredible to work with. My father (our unofficial wedding planner) must have been on the phone with her several times a week, we did 3-4 in person visits, and Natalie was ready for anything and everything! She let us select our own vendors, but always had recommendations available when we weren't sure who to go with (which was a huge help bc of all her connections in Wimberley). She was incredibly responsive by email or phone, prepared for all questions about logistics, layouts and timing. And I was constantly impressed about how above and beyond she went, all because her family was just sincerely excited about our event (the first time they hosted an Indian celebration) and making it success.

Just as one example, the Tuesday before the wedding the temperature was predicted to be a good 10/15 degrees warmer then we planned and I was worried guests would be hot. My dad just gave Natalie a call and she said she knew a person who could get us hand-fans by Saturday and she would take care of the order! That's it, no running around no stress for us, just a quick phone call and its taken care of. I don't know any venue that would support you that much beyond giving you a location.

Natalie and her entire family live on the ranch and really made us feel like they were welcoming us into their homes.

I can't say enough great things about The Waters Point. Between the beautiful scenery and the very helpful staff, I don't think it can get any better than this!

My husband and I got married about a month ago and it was a dream! When we went to tour the venue, we were amazed at the beauty and the background of the property and that is what sold us. From the beginning, Natalie and Kat were so easy to work with and beyond accommodating.

We rented the venue for the day, and then decided to have our family and wedding party stay on site in the cabins for the weekend. This was a blessing in disguise and was probably one of the best features of the site that we didn't appreciate until the wedding came. We thought it would be convenient, but we had so much fun the entire weekend that we are already planning our next trip just to stay the weekend in the cabins!

The wedding day could have been a disaster, but it ended up perfect. There was 80% chance of rain (didn't end up raining a drop), and my mom and I both got severely dehydrated (drink plenty of water the days leading up to your wedding) and couldn't oversee the decorating. We had planned all of the decorations and when we both got sick, I didn't think there was a chance that it would come out how I wanted. The Waters Point team listened to me and gave my husband and I the wedding of our dreams!

Kat was very helpful throughout the process of planning and accommodating to my busy work schedule. I knew I wanted a day-of-coordinator but didn't realize what a great value Kat was! It wasso nice having a coordinator that knew the venue inside and out instead of someone who has only seen it a handful of times before the wedding.
Everything turned out as close to perfect as it could have been for our wedding. The backdrop, the over-accommodating staff, wonderful friends and family all gave my husband and I the wedding of our dreams!

We are so happy we chose The Waters Point for our wedding!

Wedding Venue Awesome, staying in cabins not so

Recently attending wedding here, my son's and it was a gorgeous setting, staff very helpful and courteous. For a wedding venue, awesome, but would be skeptical of staying here again. Very dirty cabins, we stayed in 8 and 10, floors dirty, dead roaches on floor, rat droppings all over the mini ironing boards, no dressers to put clothes in and make shift closets, basically pvc pipes in an alcove. Blankets they provided had sticker burs in them and sandy. You have to make your cabins ready for the cleaning crew, wash all dishes (no dishwasher), strip the beds, take out all trash. For 250+ a night, the only thing really great was the view. I will say the brides cabin was spot on,, it was the newest of the cabins perfect for getting ready, grooms cabin was not very clean either.
