  Wedding planning

  Gabrielle deserves recognition for truly going above and beyond. Gabrielle is an absolute dream and professional. Gabrielle was integral in our planning process. Even though we used Gabrielle to help plan our wedding, she continued checking in with my husband and me before the wedding, congratulating us, and asking for pictures. That really stood out that she cares for her clients.

  Gabrielle deserves recognition for truly going above and beyond. Gabrielle is an absolute dream and professional. Gabrielle was integral in our planning process.   The BEST wedding coordinators - life savers!!!

  If you are going to have one takeaway from my review, PLEASE listen to me when I say The Wedding Connection was the BEST thing to happen to me for my wedding. I actually won a free day of coordinator through their instagram contest and was immediately welcomed by Gab. I met with Gab a few times over the phone in the beginning to catch her up about my wedding plans and about 3 months prior to my wedding she introduced me to Jess and Jackie, who would be my 2 day of coordinators. After that, I had a groupchat with the 3 of them that we would text almost daily, we also would facetime to go over all the details and they created a detailed timeline for my day. They also reached out to all my vendors on my behalf the week of the wedding to make sure everything was confirmed and in place. When there was a delay with my signage the week of the wedding, Gab volunteered to pick it up for me and bring it to my venue because I didn’t have the time to. Jess and Jackie are complete angels and were life savers on the day of my wedding. For reference, I am a type A bride, planned everything out, am extremely organized and didn’t think I would need a day of coordinator, but was lucky enough to win them because let me tell you… YOU NEED ONE. Jess and Jackie showed up for my day while we were getting ready at the hotel and immediately took control of everything. You don’t realize how many silly things will happen the day of that you don’t account for or don’t realize will take time and attention. For example, when all 8 groomsmen, plus 2 dads and the Groom were tasked with folding their pocket squares, Jess and Jackie were there to do it (which also included cutting a napkin to make a makeshift pocket square because one was forgotten). They took control of being the liaison with all my vendors that day, like making sure the photographers got every shot on my photo shot list and knew all the important family members by name and made sure our bridal party was always ready and in the right place at the right time. They were basically my bodyguard throughout my wedding and made sure we were running on time and that everything I had told them in advance that I wanted to do, was getting done and that everything was in the right place. There were seriously so many moments that I said to myself that day, “Thank god I have Jess and Jackie.” I would have been so much more stressed and overwhelmed that day if I didn’t have them and I can’t thank them enough for putting their heart and souls into my wedding day.

  I cannot express how incredible Gab was as my day-of coordinator for my wedding on 5/25/24. She began assisting me three months before the big day, and her support was invaluable. Gab consistently advocated for me, providing insights and information that I wouldn't have known without her expertise. As someone who is very anxious, having Gab by my side, answering all my texts, and calling me daily with updates was a breath of fresh air that helped calm my nerves immensely.
  
  On the wedding day, Gab and her team truly outdid themselves. Words cannot fully capture how phenomenal they were. We had a packed timeline with multiple locations, yet Gab & team handled everything like a well-oiled machine. We were on time TO THE MINUTE for every event, from the first look to the ceremony and the reception. I never had to worry about the clock once.

  Introduction: Our wedding took place on 8/19/24 and we had the pleasure of working with Wedding Planning & Event Management and Gabby was our wedding coordinator with the assistance of Jessica. From the initial consultation to the day of our wedding, Gabby played an instrumental role in ensuring that our special day ran smoothly and flawlessly.

  Gabrielle and her team, Jess and Jacklyn honestly deserve it all. Gab and I go way back to 2018 and when I got engaged I knew that I need her by my side on my wedding day. I could not say enough good things about them. From day one she listened to my vision and helped me bring it to life. Gab coordinated all of the vendors to assure the timeline was set in stone and I didn’t even have to bat an eye. Jess assured that my reception hall was everything that I wanted and more. Jacklyn stood by my side assuring I had everything I needed at all times. Gab puts her clients first and that is something that does not go unnoticed. From day one of planning, she's been by my side, navigating budget negotiations, finding the best vendors, ensuring I had a comprehensive checklist of everything that needed to be done with due dates to keep us on track. This helped us be in the best position a few weeks before the wedding, as time goes by so fast, through the whole process she embraced and focused on every detail of my dream wedding.
  
  As a Type A personality, which I discovered I was for sure during this process and struggled to navigate at times, Gab made sure I knew I could trust her and lean on her when needed. I was never afraid to ask questions, never hesitant to speak up when I didn’t like something; she always made sure I knew that I could express how I felt to ensure the planning process went perfectly.   Truly would be lost without Gab!

  Where do I even begin! I contacted Gab a month after getting engaged because I knew I needed support with wedding planning since I work two different jobs. My wedding is in October of 2023 & the planning has been stressful but Gab has helped that so much. I am an anxious person & struggle with decision making so I knew planning a wedding would be tough for me. Without Gab, I wouldn’t have made it this far. Her communication has been incredible. She truly cares for her clients. She took the time to know me and my fiancé as people and not just clients. She has already proven trust & dedication and that means so much to me. This is just a midpoint review because I need everyone to know they should work with her if they need support. Gab continues to make me excited, hopeful & makes sure I stay in line and realistic at the same time! She is patient and just the best!!!

  She really went above and beyond for us

  We used Gabrielle for full planning and we cannot recommend her enough! The attention she paid to everything I wanted and every concern I had was truly amazing. Gabrielle found all of our vendors for us along with my wedding venue which I had honestly given up hope on finding one I’d really love but she really came through. I knew I could go to her with any question or concern I had and it would be addressed before I could overthink it enough to make myself crazy. As if planning out full wedding wasn’t enough, Gabrielle always made herself available to listen to me vent. She was there with me when I said yes to my dress and made sure I stayed true to what I really wanted. She is the best I really could go on and on.

  Gabrielle is amazing!

  Hiring Gabrielle and The Wedding Connection team was the single best thing we did throughout our wedding planning process. Gabrielle was professional and detail oriented and she went out of her way to make sure our day was perfect. She had our back throughout the entire process and protected us from any potential issues that arose with vendors that we had booked before hiring her. She was always available to us and we looked forward to every call with her. We appreciated her calm demeanor leading up to the big day and were impressed by her ability to effectively communicate any last second changes/requests to our venue and vendors. On the day of our wedding she and her team quickly adapted when the weather necessitated some changes in our schedule and she competently handled a complex load in with our band across two separate event spaces. She was so much fun to work with and we cannot recommend her more.

  Gabrielle and Jess were phenomenal at my wedding. Their deep expertise in this field truly shows as they anticipated what the bride, family, bridal/groom party and guests need. They have fixed my veil 10000x, moved the ceremony arch back and forth for me, printed my welcome speech, coordinated with all of the vendors, guided the photographers on details to look out for and many more. My day was seamless because of them and I really got to enjoy my own wedding day. One of the feedback I’ve received from brides is that they’re not present at their own wedding because there are so much to coordinate and people turn to you for answers. Gabrielle and Jess did all of the worrying for me so that I don’t have to. Guests were coming up to me asking for Gab’s contact information because they recognize the amazing work that she does. Needless to say, having them on your special day is absolutely crucial. I will forever appreciate their hard work ❤️ PS Jess also makes Instagram reels for you

  Like planning your wedding with a best friend!

  I am unbelievably thankful and grateful for Gab and her team for planning an incredible wedding! She goes above and beyond! Things that stood out when working with Gab:
  
  1) PERSONABLE - she really got to know me, my fiancé and my mom to understand our vision and what we wanted for our big day. She just got it! She made it feel like I was planning my wedding with a friend! She was very easy to communicate with, was always available, and was dedicated to us in a way that I don’t think you can find with other planners.
  
  2) DILIGENT & HARD WORKING - She combed through every detail for the day and was on top of any hiccups that came up, allowing me to stay calm. For example, there was an issue with our band signing a contract with our venue, and she immediately contacted colleagues for insight, got a backup band just in case things fell through, AND quickly resolved the issue in a day, meaning we were able to keep our favorite band! It was reassuring that if anything didn’t go as planned, she would take care of it and have a backup plan just in case. She also advocated to lower prices we were quoted. For example, she helped us find the stage we wanted at a discount by going directly to the vendor (vs getting it through the band).
  
  3) GREAT TASTE - My style was simple, classy, and not ‘over-the-top’ and Gabby completely understood. She made sure all vendors understood our vision and handled majority of the design.
  
  4) GREAT LISTENER - She listened to our opinions and what we wanted and, when asked, also helped us make decisions by giving her perspective and insight from working in the industry. Instead of being a cookie cutter wedding, she made it feel personalized and incorporated our requests!
  
  5) COMPREHENSIVE - Gab went above and beyond with every single detail. She helped us come up with unique experiences for our guests and took care of stressful tasks!
  - My fiancé is British and she located a British phone booth for After The Tone and the Brits thought it was real!
  - She also helped us find an illustrator who drew portraits of our guests as a souvenir, which was truly a unique experience!
  - She helped us find a local babysitter for a guest with a newborn (incredible!)
  - She gave me great suggestions for hotels for our mini moon in the Hamptons/Shelter Island
  - She helped find a tailor when my first tailor didn’t do a good job. Couldn’t be happier with the outcome and Gab even picked up my dress for me when it was done!
  - Gab came to our welcome party to pick up items for the wedding (saving me a drive to our venue) and went through the rehearsal with our bridal party.
  
  Thanks to Gab and her team, we had a seamless and incredible wedding day! On the day, I didn’t have to think about any of the details, she took care of everything.

As I began the process of looking for a wedding planner, I interviewed 10+ individuals and Gab made the best first impression from the very beginning. I immediately connected with her, and knew that she understood me and my vision. I ended up picking Gab to be my wedding planner and it was one of the best decisions I made for my wedding!
  
  I got married at Westbury Manor on Long Island. My husband was born and raised on Long Island. I was originally from Vancouver, Canada and moved to Los Angeles. I had no connections to Long Island, and had no idea where to start when it came to planning an out of state wedding and had no clue on what vendors to choose. That is where Gab entered and took over! Gab picked the most amazing vendors for me, from the photographer to the live band to the videographer to the florals. She picked the most incredible vendors that brought my vision to life.
  
  As I was having an out of state wedding and the reality that all of my wedding guests would be traveling out of state and in some cases even out of the country, Gab took care of it all from handling the wedding block to the Airbnb recommendations! Gab made sure that all of my guests arrived safely and were comfortable for the duration of their stay. She also ensured that I secured a location for my Welcome Dinner/Rehearsal Dinner and that my guests left fed and happy at our Going Away Breakfast the morning after the wedding.
  
  Our guests could not stop talking about how amazing the wedding and overall wedding weekend was!

We were planning our daughter’s destination wedding and Gabrielle worked with us for many months. We could never have put together such a spectacular weekend without her. Not only did she plan and coordinate the wedding day, she also planned the welcome dinner and reception the night before for all the out of town guests. She planned and coordinated a spectacular and incredibly memorable event. Her attention to detail and professional presentation are nothing less than miraculous.
  The itinerary she created and provided to all our vendors kept everything running smoothly. There was nothing that we had to do or worry about the entire weekend because Gabrielle had everything handled professionally.
  She is organized, thoughtful, creative and considerate. She was a great listener, and was able to work creatively with challenging situations.
  She works with a very talented group of vendors including everything from the florist, photographer, videographer, live band, hair, and makeup. Every vendor she chose was completely out of this world and made our day. Can we just say that the live band was amazing!   Amazing experience

  Gabrielle and her team were so amazing & thoughtful. They went ABOVE AND BEYOND to make our wedding special. From finding a new hair stylist 1 week before our wedding, answering our millions of questions, coming up with the most amazing ideas (donuts instead of cake) and everything in-between, we honestly could not have gotten married without the Wedding Connection Team. I want to get married all over again just so Gab and I can have our daily phone calls.
  Aside from marrying my husband, The Wedding Connection was the best decision I've made in my life.

From finding a new hair stylist 1 week before our wedding, answering our millions of questions, coming up with the most amazing ideas (donuts instead of cake) and everything in-between, we honestly could not have gotten married without the Wedding Connection Team. I want to get married all over again just so Gab and I can have our daily phone calls.
  Aside from marrying my husband, The Wedding Connection was the best decision I've made in my life.

  Gabrielle + The Wedding Connection for everything wedding!

  In short, since I could go on forever, during my initial conversation with Gabrielle, my husband and I were sold! Gabrielle is so full of life, and her enthusiasm for what she does makes it impossible not to want to hire her. Attention to detail is an understatement. Gabrielle didn’t treat us like a client, but more like family. She got to know my husband and I, and not just what we wanted and checked off boxes. She personally made sure every minute of our wedding this Saturday 3/18/2023 ran perfect. There were a few hiccups on the vendor’s blame that we didn’t find out about until after our wedding day because Gabrielle ironed them out before we became privy. My whole wedding party absolutely loved her as well, to the extent she was hired by one of them after my wedding for their own wedding next year! Extremely professional, but so much fun! I am a very anxious person, and the weight was completely taken off my shoulders so I could truly enjoy my day with my husband and loved ones. I truly can’t thank her enough.

  So happy I picked Gabrielle!

  I’m so happy I picked Gabrielle as my day-of coordinator! I was on the fence about hiring one but I am relieved I did. There was no task she couldn’t handle. She was the first vendor we spoke with and we immediately clicked, and after interviewing other vendors, returned to Gabrielle and hired her. We’ve remained friends since. She’s very passionate about making her clients happy and you won’t regret hiring her. I’m excited to see her at my friend’s wedding next year after recommending my friend hire her!

  Wedding perfection

  I hired Gabby as a wedding planner and a DOC she was absolutely everything I needed before I even knew I needed it. She exceeded all my expectations and more. For planning the wedding I had just started a new job and had very little free time especially during business hours. She did all of my research, countless phone calls and was always available to talk to me and give me her honest opinion. For DOC I had a backyard wedding that she helped build from the ground up and she was on top of everything, making sure all vendors were present, sticking to the timeline and always making sure I had everything I needed. There was not a time during the day where I needed something and she wasn’t there in almost an instant to help me with whatever it is I needed. She handled everything and made sure none of it fell on me so that I could have the most perfect day. We owe our perfect day to Gabby!
