  Unbelievable experience and exceptional food!

  Choosing The White Apron to cater our August 2023 wedding turned out to be one of the BEST decisions we made! Before I get to the food, let me tell you how seamless and smooth the entire process was from beginning to end. From the day that I first reached out to The White Apron, I felt like I was a VIP client receiving white glove service. That level of service remained consistent until even after our wedding day. We actually booked The White Apron before we did a food tasting because of their tremendous reputation and service. The entire staff is incredible, but I have to tell you that Victoria is a superstar. Victoria was our main contact through the entire planning process, and out of every vendor we worked with for our wedding (10+ vendors), Victoria was the nicest, most reliable, and most helpful of all of them. She truly went above and beyond to answer all my questions quickly and thoroughly, from inquiries about pricing and contract language to details on food flavors and preparation. She is amazing! Now, let me tell you about the food. We did our tasting with Chef Jay and knew right away that our wedding menu was going to be fantastic. Chef Jay was incredibly nice and approachable, and the food we tasted was exquisite. On our wedding day, everything from the raw bar to the passed apps, the entrees, and even the mini desserts were so delicious! The presentation of everything was also beautiful. I’ve received numerous comments from our guests that the food was the best food they’ve ever had at a wedding (and outside a wedding!). I really can’t say enough good things about The White Apron. I highly recommend booking them for your upcoming wedding!

  Tremendous

  Couldn't have gone smoother. Very professional, absolutely delicious, excellent communicators, Cleanliness was out of this world--would have never known they were at our house, fed a lively crowd of 165 cocktail style and never ran out of supplies. Wonderful friendly staff. THE BEST!

  Absolutely incredible

  As the title states everything was absolutely incredible! Working with the team at White Apron was super easy and we were planning from out of town. They were flexible with menu planning and helped us with any special requests. On top of that the food was exceptional! Our guests are still talking about how good everything was! I still dream about this food sometimes! Definitely check them out! Thank you White Apron team for making our day perfect!

  Exceptional food and service

  Thrilled that we picked White Apron for our wedding- they did a wonderful job and everyone is still raving about the food. We’re big foodies and love cooking so our expectations were high but White Apron still exceeded them. White Apron worked with us for our welcome dinner and wedding celebration the following day and executed both perfectly. Friday night some guests arrived late and the White Apron were able to bring out the extra food for them. The bartenders were excellent and enthusiastic about our collection of speciality whiskeys that we can picked for the event. Victoria was SO amazing with all the planning, I can’t count how many e-mails and calls we exchanged. She was always so prompt and helpful. White Apron was extremely accommodating to very specific dietary needs for my husband’s family and some additional guests. One guest who is celiac said they never ate so well at any formal event- they were able to make modifications and the food was held to the same standard as the rest of the guests. We appreciated their help in menu selection process, their attention to detail and the kindness of all of their staff. Truly a pleasure to work with your team and thank you for making our wedding so magical! Would definitely use White Apron again for any events.

  Exceptional

  I am a restauranteur, and most of our wedding guests work in the catering and hospitality industry, so we are very observant and a tough crowd to please. Jay, Liz, and The White Apron Team blew us away. They were professional, organized, efficient, accomodating, competent, and the food was terrific. They set up and broke down our hired items without me even noticing and packed leftovers away for us to take home (they were all eaten later that evening). It is hard to create and serve hot restaurant quality food to a large group with varying timelines, such as weddings, but The White Apron achieved it for us. All of our guests commented on the excellent service and on how much they enjoyed their dinner. Highly, highly recommend.

  All around 10/10

  I loved working with White Apron for my wedding. My husband's brother also used them for their wedding. They worked with us on pricing and checked in with us frequently to make sure our ducks were in a row. Their level of detail was exceptional. I loved that the catering coordinator and head chef personally came up to my husband and I at the end of the night to say their goodbyes and ask if anything else was needed. Very nice touch. Best of all the food was great (even for wedding food)!

  Amazing Food. Great People

  Our wedding coordinator advised us to hire The White Apron when we said that we wanted our COVID-era backyard-wedding to be a lobster bake. She said that if anyone could make a lobster bake 'classy', and work around ever-changing state regulations and federal recommendations- The White Apron could. And boy did they. TWA prepared a few different proposals for us so that we could know what the cost would be if they were allowed to do full service, or if they were only allowed to make the food and leave and then a combo of the two- since we had no way of knowing what the rules would be come wedding time. It was nice to know that they were willing to work with us either way, and be flexible.
  The food was beyond amazing (just reading the menu when we received the proposals made our mouths water) and we even got to eat it for the next few days as they packaged up all the leftovers for us! Woo. Much appreciated.
  The staff were so pleasant and easygoing, and clearly enjoyed their jobs. They also followed all COVID precautions by wearing masks and even serving the buffet style dishes for us so that they were the only ones touching the serving utensils.
  I would highly recommend The White Apron for your wedding.

  The White Apron is Wonderful

  My daughter got married in early September 2019 at the ViewPoint Hotel in York Maine, which is an outdoor venue. The White Apron is one of their preferred vendors for catering and from everything that we had heard about them, we knew that if we chose TWA as our caterer, we would not have anything to worry about.
  
  From day 1, Victoria and Sidney were very easy and pleasant to work with. They guided us throughout the entire process with the utmost patience and professionalism. Since I did not use a wedding planner, I was always emailing Victoria with all kinds of picky little detail questions and she would always find time to help me figure it all out. I can't say enough about how great it was to work with her.
  
  We also contracted with them to cater breakfast at our beach cottage the morning following the wedding. Although a much smaller event, Victoria was equally attentive to all of my questions and details.
  
  All of our guests have been raving about the food! We knew from the tasting that they do not skimp on their ingredients and the food would be delicious. It did not disappoint. We had 6 passed appetizers and a bistro station of cheeses, nuts, cured meats, etc. all of which were outstanding. Our app choices were the Lobster Canape, Sauteed Shrimp w/orange glaze, Ribeye beef, Saucisson En Croute, Grilled Chicken Skewer, & Potato Pierogi. All were delish!
  
  Our main course consisted of a Maine Blueberry Salad, and choice of Braised Short Rib, Roasted Brined Chicken, or Roasted Mushroom Strudel. Everything was served very efficiently, on time and at the right temperature. And, needless to say, it was all delicious.
  
  For dessert, we opted to have a small, ceremony cake and a dessert station which worked out great. My son in law is Albanian and baklava is a dessert staple in his family. Although baklava was not an option on their dessert choices, they were very willing to make it for us and did a great job with it.
  
  My daughter's wedding day was truly magical and I am very happy that we chose The White Apron to be part of it. Do not hesitate to contract with them for your special events. I am trying to come up with another reason to hire them and work with them again someday!

  Best Food, Best Staff

  We hired White Apron after having their food at a friends wedding. It was the first wedding we went to where we legit spent the ENTIRE cocktail hour chasing down waiters because the appetizers were SO delicious and where both my husband and I basically licked our plates clean. We knew then that they would be our caterer at our wedding and they did not disappoint. They worked with our budget without sacrificing quality and they were the best communicators. Our tasting was such a wonderful experience, it was one of the best parts of the whole wedding planning. I can't recommend them enough. The food is delicious, the company is super professional and the staff is so incredibly kind!

  Wish I could give more than 5 stars!

  The White Apron catered my wedding on June 22 of this year and, from start to finish, it was a wonderful experience. Victoria was amazing to work with and incredibly responsive throughout the planning process. She always took the time to thoroughly address my questions almost instantaneously. A few months before the wedding, we had our tasting with Jay, and that was when we realized just how incredible the food is!!! Everything was so delicious and it was also a really fun event that we could bring my parents to and get us all excited for the big day! After trying so much amazing food, it was hard to choose our menu, but we also knew everything would be amazing - and it was! Our guests are still raving about the food as well as the incredible service. As the bride, I really appreciated that one of the servers caught us on the way to the cocktail hour with a tray of a few of each of the hors d'oeuvres so we could try them before the craziness began! Thank you White Apron!

  Great food and service

  I went with The White Apron for my wedding reception in November. The food was delicious and the servers were excellent and very helpful. I particularly loved the lamb chops (it is a must have). All the staffs put great attention to all the details and I am really glad to have picked them as our caterer.

  October wedding

  If only we could give the White Apron 10 stars instead of 5! They were absolutely the best catering service we could have had to cater our wedding dinner and next day brunch. The food was exceptional as was the service and ease of the organization. From the moment we had our tasting with Jay we knew they were top notch. Victoria was so pleasant to work with-extremely prompt with returning emails and phone calls and assisting in organizing the menu options. The service team and bartenders for the event were professional and efficient. The food was beyond amazing!! I would highly recommend The White Apron to anyone who wants to make their event the best!

  I highly recommend the White Apron for a wedding or any kind of event. From our first tasting to our wedding cocktail hour and reception everything about White Apron was nothing short of perfection. Their food is exceptional and their staff is too! We can't wait to work with them again in the future!

From our first tasting to our wedding cocktail hour and reception everything about White Apron was nothing short of perfection. Their food is exceptional and their staff is too!   We had my daughter’s wedding this past Saturday, Oct 6 and Jay, Victoria and their folks were fantastic. The food was great. But more important, their folks were fantastic. They’re attention to detail put this FOB at ease from the first cocktail to the last, fantastic cookie.
  I would have them again and highly recommend them!

  Amazing team of people!

  I highly recommend the White Apron. We hired them for our wedding and were so happy that we did. We received great reviews from our guests and the planning process was so much fun. Victoria and Liz were amazing to work with, they thought through every little detail. The tasting was so much fun. The menu is creative and the food was fantastic. The day-of staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Loved every bit of my experience working with them!

  Amazing food and so easy to work with

  We used The White Apron for our rehearsal dinner and reception and they killed it. Our guests are still talking about how delicious the food was (we're still dreaming of the homemade hummus from the bistro table) and we were so impressed with the team's professionalism during both events. Liz, Jay and Victoria were so easy to work with throughout the planning process too. They were flexible with menu changes, responsive whenever we had questions and all around good people. We'd 100% recommend working with them and are so glad they were part of our vendor team.

  The White Apron provides you with not only the most delicious food, but with exceptional customer service and attention to the finest details. The experience starts when Jay Curcio invites you into his kitchen and serves you a “tasting” of his fine menu offerings. He then sends you on your way with leftovers which you will have for breakfast just to make sure you get some! He and his staff are very responsive, will accommodate your requests and do whatever it takes to make your day what you want it to be. Our venue on Lake Winnipesaukee required us to provide the alcohol for 150 guests. Jay helped me unload all of it in a torrential downpour. This man and his team are “all in” and as FOB, that was all I needed to see. He an his team love what they do and that translates into a fabulous and most memorable experience.   I have used many caterers over the years and White Apron is at the very top of the list. I have enjoyed their excellent food and service at private dinner parties and decided to use them for a corporate dinner I was hosting at my home.
  
  They are superb The food choices are interesting and beautifully prepared and served. The staff is warm, helpful and attentive to the needs of the guests. My kitchen was left in perfect condition. I have used them a few times and have scheduled them for another party at the end of February

Every detail was taken care of, the event was beautiful, the staff were all happy and had great attitudes, a pleasure to work with. Not to mention the food was out of this world! I will not hesitate to hire them for my next event! I would give a sixth star on this review if I could.

Jay and Liz made planning this event so enjoyable and completely stress-free.
