My husband and I had our wedding pretty fast after being engaged and if anyone knows 2022 was the year for the wedding. Cheryl was able to get us the date we really wanted for our dream September wedding. This barn is gorgeous and spacious for our almost 100 guests. The feel of being out in the country fields but only 15 minutes from Biddeford is a dream. We had an amazing time and the owners were such a wonderful couple who helped with all our needs. I can’t recommend them enough!

This venue is gorgeous and incredibly spacious! More importantly, Cheryl and her staff are PHENOMENAL! Cheryl responded to every email (and trust me, there were many) incredibly promptly. She was so helpful and seems to genuinely love her job. I cannot thank her enough for helping our special day run smoothly.

We would recommend this venue if one wants a reception in a barn and you can do the ceremony right there as well. They were easy to work with and responded very quickly to any questions we had. We loved how our guests could spread out during the reception inside and out. The bridal cottage was helpful with getting ready for the ceremony. We would recommend it and use it again if needed.

There aren’t enough words to do this venue justice. Cheryl and her venue were amazing. We knew we wanted a barn wedding, and when we did our walk through with Cheryl, we knew we had found our spot at This Old Barn.

The venue itself…….it was everything we had hoped for and more. Only minutes from our house in Saco, it still had the barn aesthetic we wanted. The views coming up to the venue are breathtaking. The bridal cottage is such a nice addition we didn’t expect. It was such a great spot for the bridesmaids to get ready and prepped before the ceremony. Everything was clean and they even had a personalized gift waiting for us!

The staff……they were fantastic! From the setup of the ceremony to the coordinating with the staff, Cheryl and her staff went above and beyond. They made our day flawless and did it all behind the scenes without us knowing. They were so accommodating and friendly and were available for anything we needed. They gave us great ideas and options for our seating setup and our ceremony site. They even had a great fire pit outback that they tended all night for us!

If you are looking for a rustic yet updated wedding venue close to Portland, The Old Barn is the perfect spot.

This Old Barn was absolutely perfect. The venue was beautiful - it made for the most picturesque ceremony! The staff was phenomenal- Cheryl and Dale (the couple who owns the barn) were AMAZING. They truly made the experience stress-free. We never felt like we were just another client - their thoughtfulness and attention to detail was extraordinary. Guests RAVED about This Old Barn, from the beauty of the views to the fun smores station to the friendliness of the staff.
