Jen, the sole proprietor of Thru My Lens Photography, is out of this world talented. She works multiple jobs, she is a mother, and she puts her clients before herself always. Photography is actually her side hustle, and yet you would think based on how quick she communicates, and how quickly she will get your product back to you, that this was her full-time job. Jen was open and willing to meet with us wherever possible and whatever worked for us. This was as subtle as meeting at Starbucks and explaining our vision to her. She did not disappoint. Our wedding day was November 11, 2023 and we booked Jen in the early months of the same year. She arrived early and stayed through the major parts of the dancing festivities, altogether spending over 7 hours on site making our dream wedding come to life. We were not picky when it came to what photos we necessarily wanted which worked well because Jen had such great visions by just using the natural landscapes that we would have never thought of in the first place. She is reasonably priced and not pushy at all, and no matter what, she will match the work of what 3 photographers might get done at other weddings, all by herself. Jen, as a person, is FUN, makes you feel comfortable, and knows exactly what you want before you even realize you want it. We would recommend her to anyone looking for an easy, relaxed, and nontraditional wedding. Jen understands that weddings are about capturing the love not making a grandiose production, and for this we could not be more grateful for finding her. We cannot recommend Jen highly enough! Not only did our engagement and wedding photos come out fantastic, but she edited them quickly, was flexible with everything we asked, and it was all for an unbeatable price. She was our rock throughout the wedding day, sticking diligently to our timeline and making sure we got all the inspiration pictures we sent her. She is so professional while also being personable. I highly recommend Thru my Lens. Jen perfectly captured our wedding. She came to both the church and the reception. Once we looked at the photos we were so surprised at the variety of pictures she was able to take. We are so grateful to have these wonderful pictures. -

Jen was amazing and so easy to work with! She brought so many ideas to the table and was even open to our recommendations. She goes with the flow while still remaining professional. I loved working with her and would absolutely work with her again! I love how our photos came out and can not wait to see the full album. Jen was absolutely amazing to work with and captured our day perfectly. We were so impressed with the engagement and wedding pictures. We started by chatting on the phone, she asked a few questions and she quickly got exactly what we were looking for. She also has such a great personality and makes the experience fun and natural.
We loved having Jen as part of our wedding. On the day of the wedding she was thinking of everything and we just relaxed and enjoyed. Our wedding timeline got a bit changed and she worked it out with our venue planned to make all our plans work and fit in our beautiful sunset photos, we didn’t have to do anything!
You can not beat the value Jen provides. We absolutely recommend her! -

Amazing!!!
Jen was so much fun to have as a photographer. We had her do our engagement/family pictures and our wedding pictures. She was so easy to work with. It was like having an old friend with us during the day. She was very helpful throughout my planning, answering any questions I had. Our finished products were amazing and I cannot thank Jen enough for the memories she captured on our wedding day. -

I was delighted with my engagement photos and beyond ecstatic of the few wedding photos I've already gotten to see. Jen is very easy to work with and listens to your vision and what you want and don't want out of your big day . She has been working with my family for years and she was the easiest & best decision I made for my wedding . I look forward to using her for my future engagements .
