Julie Sent on 06/10/2016We absolutely loved working with Tigerlily for our wedding in Dec. 2014. We worked closely with Christine and she was SO helpful and enjoyable to work with. Every time I called to discuss the wedding, she really made me feel special as the bride. I know she works with tons of clients, but she has a very personable quality that made me feel like I was the only bride getting married!
They worked with us on every detail and executed to perfection.
In addition, guests RAVED about the food. Many said it was absolutely the best beef and chicken they have ever had at a wedding (and some ever!). Thank you, Tigerlily and Christine! We loved you and wish we could do it all over again. -
User1262054 Sent on 07/29/2013Tigerlily was EVERYTHING to my wedding planning! I was constantly in contact with the employees there, making changes and choosing very specific details back and forth. They were incredibly professional, accommodating, flexible, and willing. Everything on the big day turned out GREAT. The food was delicious, the waiters were great, and we even had personal updates and service from the staff (to my husband and I), offering to bring us our own set of appetizers, constantly re-filling our drinks, and offering to re-heat our food after we mingled with guests. I was impressed with the food, the bartenders, and the timing of everything. My contract was very detailed and high maintenance but they were willing to make all the necessary changes up to the very last week. Prices also worked out with the package offers, etc. Not cheap by any means but much more reasonable then other vendors I researched, especially for a downtown Chicago wedding.

Anything I needed from her she was always willing to help or go the extra mile for me and my husband, she even gave me tips on how to save on my cake that I was purchasing through a different company! The food was delicious....everyone commented on how big the portions where and how it did not taste like typical "wedding food". Working with Christine definetly made my wedding what it was and that was perfect! -

We had a great experience working with Tigerlily for our May 2023 wedding at Cafe Brauer! Because the venue requires you to do the bar package through them, it made the most financial sense to have Tigerlily do the catering as well. We ended up being really impressed with the food! We went with their platinum package which includes a sparkling wine toast and late-night bites. We got many compliments from our guests regarding the food (especially regarding the filet mignon and halibut entrees!). The staff and service was smooth on the day of the wedding as well. Natalie was great at our tasting and really helped us pull together the final details. -

Heather Sent on 08/08/2018Tigerlily Events in the in-house caterer for Cafe Brauer. By going with them, we got a lot of extras like free valet, and the reassurance of knowing that they had worked in the space a million times before.
Our guests loved the food and raved about everything, especially the passed apps during cocktail hour! They were really accommodating - they sliced pie that we brought in from a bakery, made signature drinks with odd ingredients, and dealt with a lot of allergies. The timing was great - I did not hear complaints from anyone that had to wait to eat or get a drink.
They were pricey, but not any more expensive than other caterers we looked at. Plus, we had to use them for the bar, and they had some great food+drink packages that ended up making it less expensive than other places. -

User855953 Sent on 07/08/2012Christine from Tigelily was a delight to work with. She helped us create a perfect event. She helped put a package together at Cafe Brauer which allowed us to have an additional hour of open bar service, a champagne toast and valet parking (all of which were originally not going to be in our budget). We received many comments that night and after about the quality of the food.
The on-site staff was also wonderful. They were courteous and efficient to all our guests and helped us to the bitter end as we packed up our car. I can not say enough good things about the staff. -
User2267330 Sent on 08/12/2015Working with Christine to plan our wedding was a wonderful experience. She was always helpful, professional, and responsive. She was considerate of budget and offered the most economical way to do things. I loved that we found a way to do late night burgers and were able to bring in dessert from a local Italian bakery. We got lots of compliments on how great the food was, which was nice to hear. The chicken was excellent. However, the fillets were overcooked which was especially disappointing since we were told at our tasting orders would be taken as to how each guest wanted his steak prepared, and this did not occur. My husband and I had to ask for our salads to be served as everyone at the head table was served, except us. Also, my husband had to track down a waiter for the head table to be served wine. Dinner was suppose to be served at 8:00 and at 8:20 I had to go up to the caterer to ask where the food was. My parents who were hosting the party also noticed this delay in service. There was almost an hour between salad and dinner being served. Our planner then had to track down everyone from the head table to come sit and eat and we were more rushed through dinner. At the end of the night none of the staff were helpful to my parents packing up their items. We had bought a case of champagne for the evening and no one let us know when/if it was finished or any to take. This was the same with the desserts we brought in. Overall, working with Christine and the quality of food were excellent, but the service the night of our wedding was not.
