  Joey and the rest of the staff at Timber Ridge were phenomenal! The golf course and club house are well kept and beautiful. The food was delicious. We had our wedding ceremony outdoors and reception indoors, but their putdoor reception area is magnificant as well. Had I known the weather ahead of time I would have picked it! Joey was always so nice, easy to work with helpful throughout the whole process. Couldn't have picked a better place for out wedding and I would highly reccomend them to anyone looking for a venue!

  I can not say enough good things about timber ridge. Joey was amazing to work with, he was so nice and always quick to respond to any questions I had. The day of the food was amazing!! We god so many compliments on it. The rest of the staff was so incredibly nice they really helped make our day great. The outdoor ceremony area is beautiful

  We had a great experience hosting our wedding reception and ceremony at Timber Ridge. The event manager Joey was easy to work with and very accommodating to all of our requests. Anything we asked him to do they did it.. It was wonderful and less stressful for us.. The food was fabulous; we received so many compliments! We would definitely recommend Timber Ridge to anyone planning a wedding!

  Timber Ridge actually was my 2nd venue for my wedding. We had an awful experience with Crystal Gardens in Howell and really did not want a cookie-cutter wedding with horrible food.
  
  However working with Joey at Timber Ridge was just a 180 from our experience at Crystal. He was so flexible and accommodating, we couldn't believe it. The food was amazing and we received SO many compliments on the space and the food.
  
  Timber Ridge is far from the typical hall/ball room venue to have your reception at. It's very unique. It reminds me of being in an up-north cottage with all of the trees and foliage around the course.
  
  Joey is also quick to respond to any questions or concerns you have (I had TONS). My husband was able to go out to the golf course and take pictures with the groomsmen before the wedding (we had our ceremony inside at Okemos Historical Chapel, October was a bit chilly to do outside even though we could have done it inside at Timber Ridge).
  
  I would highly recommend brides and grooms to check out Timber Ridge, you won't be disappointed.

  They made the night amazing. We chose Timber Ridge because of the layout and how you had more than one room to spread out in. Anytime I had a question I would email and get a response that same day. The food was incredible.

  Timber Ridge is a beautiful location for a reception and a great place for bride and groom photos as well. The Hawaiian Chicken was excellent!

  Joey was great to work with, hard to reach at times but was very accommodating and flexible to our needs. He was there the entire night to make sure everything went well.

  First, the golf course is beautiful! We had an outdoor ceremony there and then the reception inside and it was all so perfect.
  Pros:
  They lined the outdoors with white chairs for the ceremony (we paid for them but it was still very nice looking)
  They gave my husband and 3 other people free golf they day before the wedding
  They were very professional and courtesy and the staff was dressed very professionally for the reception.
  I do not think they had ever had a wedding like mine before and they did do an excellent job.
  Pictures took longer then expected and dinner was about an hour late and they did an excellent job keeping the food warm.
  
  Cons:
  There were only a few problems
  There is a 225 people capacity max, which is our fault we filled, actually my husbands for inviting his whole platoon a week before the wedding, but anyways it was packed and some people had to sit in a separate room. So if looking into this place I would say comfortably 150 people.
  Everything had to be catered through them except deserts so expect to pay a good amount for food I believe we payed about 15 per plate plus we paid for wine and beer which was a little more costly there then most places.
  It got extremely hot in there but it was once again due to the fact of all the people we had.
  Last problem was the bill at the end of the night . It was hand written out and there were a few discrepancies, for example we had agreed to having 3 kegs and I believe 48 bottles of wine, well around midnight it all ran out and they say that on of our fathers said that we would pick up everything from there on out. However, both of our fathers say that they never did that so I am pretty sure it was probably one of my husbands friends which is fine it was only about $300 more but still it was a bit annoying at the end of the night.
  They did however fax us a real invoice the next day at our request because the penciled in one with random numbers with no explanation of what they were from was really the most unexpected thing ever.
  Over all besides the bill complications I was very pleased and although it sounds like a disaster it was actually very nice. Just keep those things in mind if you are to book here.

  Venue does not hold more than 100-125 people. We were told 200 and had 150 guests. It was a TIGHT fit. Service was unprofessional. Grounds are gorgeous for pictures. Vincent said he would be there the day of the wedding to oversee everything personally and he was no where to be found. The rehearsal dinner the night before was poorly done and very unprofessional.
