  Great experience

  We met them at a bridal show and we fell in love with their work. loved their artistic style and they were super easy to work with. They also managed our time by telling us where to be and what to do on the day of. They took a lot of stress off of you. I can't say enough on how great they were!

  Todd & Peggy were the best. They made our wedding day so enjoyable & took pictures to lay a life time. They were so fun & made it easy to trust them. We plan on using them for a long time for family pictures, etc.

  My husband and I chose to go with Todd Hugen Photography for our wedding and glad we did! They were fun and great to work with, very organized, and definitely helped greatly to make our day run smoothly. We have gotten so many compliments on them from guests of our wedding, which says a lot! They were also willing to travel to our farm for our engagement session and also for pictures after our wedding. All our pictures turned out great. They also have a great variety of pictures and their service is not overpriced.

  As many of you know planning a wedding is a daunting task!.. finding vendors, asking the right questions, putting every final detail into place. It consumes your life planning what is to be the perfect day. My soon to be husband was involved in every step of the planning (and, yes, it was voluntary lol). We went to four bridal fairs in search of dresses, photographers, caterers, (he watched the runways and wrote down the dresses he liked), my major focus for our big day was the memories-PHOTOGRAPHY! I knew I couldn't take away or keep everything from the wedding but I knew those pictures would last a lifetime and we could not get a do-over. That being said we started our journey-we had engagement photos taken-we were not impressed with those at all. Then as we attended the bridal fairs we talked to many photographers, some very expensive, others with just a good sales pitch...but the very last bridal fair we went to (drove on severe icy roads to go lol)is where we met Todd Hugen Photography. Their overall first impression was just amazing. They didn't start by showing their work or bragging. It started all about us, the bride and groom. They wanted to know about us, our wedding and our goals. That made all the difference-we knew they were the ones. They were a huge help to our planning process-Peggy helped me with the itinerary, what photos we wanted to capture and they even made the crazy fun shots happen. They helped move the ceremony along and even the reception all while capturing every moment. I couldn't have been happier with the service. They worked with us on pricing and created a custom package within our budget. Even through the very end-to view our pictures we had a reveal party where we could invite our friends and family, enjoy a drink and a snack while laughing or crying at our photos. I would highly recommend their services to anyone, for weddings, family photos, etc. We truly felt like we mattered, not just a number or a scheduled date.

  I cannot say enough good things about working with Todd and Peggy--they are truly amazing! They were professional, flexible, and fun to work with from the first consultation through the day of the wedding. Not only do they take incredible photos, but they were so organized and really thought of everything to make our wedding day so stress-free! (Peggy carries an entire emergency kit in her vest pockets, and she had everything we could have needed!) It was the combination of their talent and attention to detail that really impressed us in our experience with them. Most importantly, the pictures they took were so amazing--they really captured the details of the day so beautifully! I would recommend Todd and Peggy to anyone and everyone that is looking for a photographer for their big day!

They helped us find other tried and true wedding vendors, they met with us to create a list of "must have" photos, and did so much on our wedding day itself to make everything flow smoothly (helping with corsets and bustles)! After the wedding we had a photo viewing party with our family too! - much more intimate than having a link on facebook...we got to see the photos before anyone else! Having a team like Todd and Peggy helped make the day go by like a breeze and we had amazing photos from multiple angles. They are great at making sure their clients are happy and went above and beyond what we expected! They are willing to work around your budget and can create a package just for you! Thanks Todd and Peggy!

  We were very pleased that we chose Todd Hugen Photography for our wedding. They did a fantastic job prior to the wedding, during the wedding, and the pictures were amazing. They also have a large variety of selections of somewhat non-typical ways to display photos. The engagement photos, wedding photos, pictures after the wedding and reception photos are amazing. We could not have asked for better. Todd and Peggy are a great couple to work with and very helpful in planning from their perspective and they were flexible and worked with us. Highly recommend them!

  Todd Hugen Photography provided us with a service beyond our wildest dreams for our daughter’s wedding. We knew from the moment they started shooting pictures at the rehearsal that they would capture the big moments and the small moments that would allow us remember the day forever. Their pictures tell the story of a day we will be able to remember for a lifetime.

  This wedding photography couple goes above and beyond what would ever be expected of them as your vendor. They completely blew us away in our first meeting. What impressed me was how organized they are. This was perfect for a super-planner bride like myself. For example, they save your wedding photos in various forms so that they will never, ever be lost. This was a relief for us to hear as different photographers lost my parents and sister-in-laws wedding pictures forever. On top of excelling at their normal duties, the pair also serves as your wedding day "go-to" people. They tie pew bows, straighten out aisle runners, help line up family members, etc. In short, they know ever in and out of every wedding and encourage and support your individual needs. Their relationship extends beyond the wedding too. They gave us advice on our honeymoon trip, and to this day I text them wanting to order more photos without them batting an eye. As you can tell, when going with Todd Hugen Photography, you aren't just getting a wedding photographer. This was by far the best value for your buck you could get anywhere in Iowa. Thanks Hugens!!!

They do monthly specials and we were able to get them for unlimited hours without paying extra--a great deal! Peggy does a wonderful job of answering any wedding-related questions you might have, and they recently got married so they can recommend vendors that they used and others they have worked with. She sent me a recommended shot list and sample wedding day schedule a couple months before our wedding--a tremendous help! I was then able to go through both, make changes that I wanted and discuss additional thoughts and ideas with her. I've seen them both at every bridal show in the area that I've been to, and they always go with many things to show you. They are reasonably priced and able to work with you to find a package that's perfect for you and your budget. We absolutely loved working with them and you will too!!

  Todd and Peggy were Amazing! We couldn't have asked for better photographers. The pictures turned out great. They were very helpful during the whole day of the wedding. It was like having a photographer and a personal assistant. They were always a step ahead.

  Todd & Peggy make a great team! We first heard about them through some other friends who were getting married after us. When we first met with them after meeting with probably 4 other photographers, we really enjoyed how easy going they were and just easy to get along with. We were also impressed that they drove up to our town which is maybe an hour away to meet with us. We were also impressed with the day of the wedding in how they took such amazing pictures and with 2 of them, they were able to get the best angle for every shot. They were there at the reception and didn't miss a thing. They even informed us that we were supossed to cut the piece of cake together. They paid attention to every detail we didn't think about. Our friends who were at the wedding said that they were everywhere, and after getting the pictures back, we were more than impressed! We would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a great photographer and great people to work with!

They have excellent portfolios, will show you samples of their products, and are very flexible w/their packages. They will also work around your busy schedule and do whatever it takes to accomodate you. They also have a fast turn-around and you'll see your proofs online. They'll shoot whatever style you want and have a great eye for what will look fabulous! I highly recommend them because we had a great experience!
