I love Toner. My Fiance bought my engagement ring here after going all over KC looking at all of the major jewelers. Mike, the owner is very personable and will make any situation right. His staff was friendly and helpful and I ended up with a one-of-a-kind vintage ring that was an amazing value and a great find. I highly recommend Toner.

The staff at Toner Jewelry were very helpful for us in picking our wedding band (for me). And they cleaned and refinished my engagement ring as well as my (now husband's) hand-me-down wedding band.

We bought our wedding bands (and engagement ring) here. They have a lot of varieties, but if you don't find the perfect ring you can have one made for you. That's what my husband did with my engagement ring.
Their old website was www.tonerjewelry.com, but I don't think it's been canceled. If you want more information on them check out this website www.360kc.com/ClothingApparel/Jewelry/TonerJewelry.html

Beautiful Rings…Don’t expect help post wedding though

We initially fell in love with Toner jewelers and our sales associate, Lindsey. She was super helpful and kind, truly caring about our upcoming wedding, our plans and really wanted to make everything perfect for us. A week after we were married I came in to get my rings soldered together and Lindsey wasn’t there so I worked with another associate. Unfortunately, I found out that they were going to charge me over $375 to have my rings soldered together and re-sized (and that was giving me a $200 “break” on the re-sizing of my engagement ring!!). After spending THOUSANDS on my rings (no negotiation was allowed so we paid full asking price) I was surprised that we were being charged so much! After alot of back and forth between the sales lady and the jeweler, they finally came to the decision that if the ring still slipped and was too big that they would work on it and do one comfort size for free. I was simply asking for them to stand behind their work with the re-sizing and if it wasn’t correct I wouldn’t be on the hook for Another $200-300 sizing cost. She acted like I asked the impossible and said it’s not an exact science, and initially said I would have to pay for any re-sizing post soldering if it didn’t fit right.

In the end, I never even met the jeweler. Had he come out and explained everything in person my review would likely be far different. He spent almost 15 minutes of back and forth time with the sales person and never left his bench. Finally, the wonderful personal touches I felt with Lindsey (who we worked with for almost a year) were not present. I mentioned we just returned from Colorado where we got married and not one person said “congratulations” or said anything nice about the wedding rings we had purchased from them.

I highly recommend finding a locally owned store who stands behind their work, will provide a solder and re-size if needed for bands/rings purchased from them. Those places do exist (I have since found out) and I’m sad I didn’t find that kind of store to begin with.
