  The band was ripping all night!!

  Matt was so easy to work with, flexible and friendly. They handled so much that day that I really felt in good hands. All the guests paid many compliments and said the band was a staple of the wedding. They played such fun songs. We had a blast. Worth every penny!

  Our best wedding decision

  Topaz was absolutely perfect! We booked them for our wedding at the Biltmore, and it was the best decision we could have made. From day one they were professional, kind and responsive, even inviting us to see them play at the Cove in the months leading up to our wedding. They played at our cocktail hour and reception, and all of our guests (and we) loved them! They had guests of all ages on the dance floor all night long, and even made themselves available to stay later if we wanted them to. Can’t say enough about this crew, if you’re on the fence…BOOK THEM!

  Topaz was everything we could’ve asked for and then some! We booked them after only talking to Matt over the phone! He sent us some video and we were immediately sold by their energy and Matt’s willingness to make our wedding vision come true! He was with us every step of the way and made us feel very relaxed throughout the whole planning process. The band is incredible. They all had so much fun performing for us and kept the crowd engaged the whole night! They truly work for the people and made our wedding so special! We can’t thank them enough and would recommend them to any couple looking for the band band around!

  The best band, kept the party going!

  We worked with Topaz for our wedding in Newport. They were the most amazing, high energy, party band. We are still hearing from our guests asking about the band and telling us they were the best band. They played every hit song, were amazing emcees to kick off the wedding and brought the energy all night long. We wanted one huge party and they gave us that. We used their package with the jazz trio, DJ and 7 piece band and it was perfect. I can't recommend them enough.

  If you want the best party ever, book this band!

  WOW! We met Topaz by accident at a show they put on last summer. We were immediately struck by how talented all the musicians were in the band. They truly love to play music and you can see that when they are playing. As entertainers, they are so engaging!! We requested a saxophone player with our package and Nelson absolutely blew the roof off our wedding! He was running out into the crowd and the guitarist was playing the guitar behind his head. They were SO good and everyone loved their engagement.
  
  We worked with Matt during the planning process and it was the easiest part of planning our day. He was informative, accommodating and reliable. He promised us that this would be a one of a kind type of night and he was right.
  Kelly, their lead vocalist was also the point person for our introductions and she was right on point with making sure everything moved quickly and efficiently.
  
  This group is by far one of the most talented and reliable groups you could ask for. We will be following them at their local shows from here on out and recommending them to all our friends!

  Fantastic wedding band choice

  I'm so glad I chose Topaz as the band for my wedding. I play music and that made the song choice, playing and energy an essential part to my wedding. I had high expectations and the band exceeded them in every way. They communicated incredibly well with me and the caterers leading up to the wedding and on the day of. They read the crowd, took suggestions and even let my band come up on stage and play a few tunes. The mood and dancing was something my wife and I cared deeply about and I credit Topaz with setting the stage and giving extra life to the party. I can't say enough good things about this group! Thank you!

  They were the best band EVER!

  Topaz was one of the best decisions we made about our wedding. First of all, THEY ROCKED! I have a family with loads of musicians, and they could not stop complimenting the band all night. We had considered not having a band at our wedding for budget reasons, but we are SO glad that we made this choice! The dance floor was packed, and the band sounded great! On top of that, the entire planning process was made so simple and easy. Matt was incredible at navigating a weird venue structure and made us confident that they would take care of everything! We were even planning this from out-of-town, and Matt was extremely accommodating! Come the day of the wedding, and the band really surpassed anything we could have expected or hoped! They got there super early to scope out the venue, they helped perform a sound check to make sure that my relatives who played our first dance song felt comfortable. And then, as they were setting up their own equipment, they even lent their height to hanging some particularly tall decorations (a service that they might not have bargained for). This leads to my last point, in addition to being incredible musicians, exceptionally well-organized and diligent planners, Topaz was one of the kindest vendors we worked with. They were always friendly, courteous, and willing to brainstorm with us on whatever crazy idea we had. I would 110% recommend this band to any couple wanting an incredible, friendly, amazing band for their affair! They were phenomenal!

  The best band

  The BEST day! We literally had the best day! Everything was perfect. Our venue, the food, the weather and the best decision we made…. the band! Topaz was unbelievable! They played a variety of music from all genres and eras. The grandparents were up and dancing during dinner. My Mimi came up to me and said, “I feel like I’m 21 again”, I have never seen her move so much. The older crowd was thrilled to hear some timeless classics and the band really set a positive mood right off the bat. Matt was so incredible to work with. He was easily available by phone any time we called. He made us feel comfortable and confident from the moment we first talked. The best part is he backed up ever single thing he said he would do! We didn’t have to worry about a thing. The band is SOO talented and energetic! The sax player was running through the crowd the guitarist was playing the guitar over his head and we have gotten nothing but great comments about their performance. When the dance sets really started to take off, Topaz played classic hits and current hits that really made my fiancée and I, as well as our guests super happy. They went from Dancing Queen to Mr. Brightside to Bruno Mars and Whitney Houston! They literally checked off every single box we had discussed and more. If you are looking for a band that 1. Will absolutely create the most energetic and memorable night of your life. 2. Will make you feel stress free during planning and 3. Are some of the nicest people you will meet… then BOOK THIS BAND!   Give yourself the wedding you won’t forget!

  If you’re considering a band for your wedding, then we implore you to look no further than Topaz. It is a remarkable group full of talented musicians who will deliver an amazing wedding experience for both the couple and their guests.
  
  Our experience with them was top notch right from the beginning. Matt was helpful with constructing an entertainment program that fit our needs and budget from the ceremony to the reception. While we only selected a few of his services, he has a lot to offer!
  
  For our wedding ceremony, Topaz was able to provide us with MP3 music and a microphone set-up for the officiant that improved the ceremony experience for our guests. After the ceremony, Topaz continued to DJ music for our cocktail hour. Both worked our perfectly.
  
  The fun really kicked off at the ceremony when the entire band assembled for the evening. The song we decided that our wedding party would walk out to was “I Gotta Feeling” by the Black eyed peas. At this moment we realized that getting a band was the right decision. Instead of playing the song as it was written, the band improvised with the tune, introducing each couple of the wedding party then singing the hook as they walked in then restated for the next couple. While my wife and I weren’t in the audience to experience it, but we peeked through a window and could tell that it was just such a well executed performance! Additionally, their ability to blend one song into the next effortlessly throughout the night was just remarkable.
  
  The remainder of the evening was just full of absolute fun and we really danced all night long thanks to Topaz. We weren’t picky in regards to the songs played and they stood up to the task of reading the room and adjusting their set accordingly. During their breaks they were able to DJ music through the PA system. At this point they played more of our eclectic songs for which people usually enjoy hearing the original and highly produced version of. They we’re also very good at interacting with the crowd - they even allowed some of our guests to join them in performing “Mr. Brightside” which was truly a moment we won’t forget!
  
  Topaz was great, take it from a couple who felt like the band helped deliver the wedding of their dreams; so much so that a few of our engaged guests are eager to consider brining that Topaz energy to their wedding!

  Energy through the roof!!!

  Shana and I have been following TOPAZ for awhile - we saw them play at foxwoods atrium theater and they kept bringing their A - game - we danced until our feet hurt and thats when we knew we HAD to have them as the band for our wedding! Topaz was everything we hoped for and more! They were easy to communicate with, they played a variety of music and their energy kept everyone on the dance floor the WHOLE night! They even have a great rendition of the Hora!! I can not say enough good things about this band! They even have the option of bringing their saxophonist which I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! Thank you Topaz for bringing the magic to the dance floor!!! 10/10 would hire them again.

  Best Band Ever!

  This band is AMAZING! My now husband is a musician and was so picky about what band to choose. We met with Matt for dinner and he invited us to a private showcase, where we got to meet the band and have a private show! It was actually really awesome. They played our first dance song and we got to dance to it alone. It was so special. We then went to see Topaz live at a public venue this summer and we were able to see how amazing they are as entertainers. They drew the crowd in and the dance floor was packed all night. They played everything from Motown, 80s classics, 90s/00s hits to today country and pop hits! They are fantastic! My husband and I are so glad we chose them to perform at our wedding! They were the highlight of our day and we can’t thank them enough for making our day so special! We already have friends lining up to book them for their upcoming weddings!!

  Nonstop Dancing!!

  You won’t be disappointed when hiring Topaz band for your wedding and/or event! They had everyone from ages 23-93 up on their feet and dancing all night. They have a plethora of music to choose from, but are also able to read the room and play what fits the mood. They also handle the MC aspect of the wedding with profession and ease. We have received so many compliments after our wedding about the band and how much fun everyone had on the dance floor. Again, you won’t be disappointed with Topaz!

  Best Wedding Ever

  My husband and I were having a hard time deciding on a band or a DJ for our wedding. I always felt like a band was more elegant but a DJ was probably more affordable. When we started talking with Topaz, we realized that we were able to get a band at a reasonable price and a band that would take all my ridiculous requests, just like a DJ would. Was it more money than a DJ? Yeah, a little bit but let me tell you… spend the extra money!!! Topaz brings the party! They are reasonably priced and are so accommodating. They were so much fun and the exceeded our expectations.

  Awesome band!

  Matt from Topaz was awesome! He said his band was great and they did not disappoint! They kept everyone up and dancing our whole wedding. We couldn’t have asked for a better group to be there during our big day! Highly recommend!

  Topaz has the BEST tunes & vibes!

  We had the best experience with Topaz! It is such a great band, and we had so SO many compliments and comments about how much fun everyone had dancing. We did the 7 piece band, they played great easy jazz type music for the cocktail hour, then they did an intro for us, MC'd the speeches, and did DJ music for the dinner so it wasn't too loud. Then the dancing and music was so fun, they did a great job at figuring out how the crowd was doing and they responded accordingly. They also could not have been nicer to deal with!
  
  Fun fact- my friend came to our wedding and was a little over a week away from her due date. Topaz was so fun she could not keep herself from having an absolute blasts and dancing with everyone else. She actually had so much fun that her baby wanted to join us a little early, and her water broke in the parking lot of our venue when her husband was getting the car! She had a healthy baby boy early the next morning, but it is such a special connection to have to our wedding and how much of a good time everyone had!
