I was so worried about finding a DJ that would cue the music right at the moments that I wanted for our special songs: when the bride entered the ceremony space, when it was time for first dance, etc. And I have to say that Total Event Audio was absolutely perfect. They exceeded our expectations, and we couldn't recommend them enough. They were flexible, understanding, and so organized throughout. We couldn't have asked for a better DJ. Thank you for making our day special! -

Joel and Mariana were an amazing team! Their attention to detail and exceptional customer service made our night to remember even more special. We booked them for our wedding ceremony and reception and they outdid themselves! Joel was extremely detail-oriented and very friendly. Besides being the best to work with, we felt they cared about how our wedding turned out. We 100% recommend them! -

Best DJ ever
Joel and his team was amazing!! They reached out to me multiple times to get to know us as a couple and what our vision was for the wedding. I was super indecisive about some things and Joel was patient and helped me work through it. I bits and pieces of Harry Potter at my wedding (huge potter head) and he even made it extra special to include some Harry Potter songs I didn’t even ask for however he knew well enough I would enjoy it and I absolutely did!! It was a great time and everyone raved about how good the Dj was.

Total Event Audio & Lighting were awesome! They were incredibly flexible, which was super helpful as a teacher at the end of the school year. They did a fantastic job in helping plan all aspects of the entertainment and timeline management. I would 100% book them again without a doubt! -

Joel Stroder was one of the best vendors we worked with for our wedding! I need a reason to hire him and his crew again!! He did everything he could to make our night wonderful. He went above and beyond. Our private dance was almost cut short because of rain but Joel made sure we got every last minute of it! -

Joel and his team did an excellent job setting up beautiful café lighting and mics for our outdoor wedding at the Forth Worth Botanic Gardens, and providing great DJ services as well! Our guests had a great time! He was extremely responsive and great at communicating everything, he sent us recommendations and suggestions to help us with planning and had several planning meetings with us to ensure everything went very smoothly the day of! He was very accommodating to our requests, while still providing us the professional recommendations we needed. -

Best DJ Ever!
We couldn't have asked for a better DJ for our wedding. Joel was so easy to work with from the initial contact through the end of the wedding night. I loved how they transitioned songs smoothly and there were no abrupt pauses or bad sounding transitions as the songs overlapped. They listened well to requests throughout the night and made the songs fit right in seamlessly. They kept my guests on the dance floor all night! -

I wanted a fairy tale wedding, with wrapped trees and cafe lights. Joel completely understood the assignment and made my vision come true. I literally cried with joy when I first saw how he decorated my venue. He does wonders, and he’s so easy to communicate with. If I ever need lighting, he’ll be the only one I’d ever contact.

I can’t even put in to words how amazing our experience with Total Event Audio & Lighting was! From the initial meeting to do the day of, it was an absolute dream. So easy to work with, and the communication was so good! The day of the wedding, they were there before even planned to set up and check everything! They were so personable, and I genuinely feel like our day was so much more enjoyable because of their part in it! I can’t stress enough how much of a help they were, and I am so thankful we choose them for our wedding! I highly recommend them! -

So Much Fun!
Literally fantastic. Joel is the best DJ out there!
He made sure everything was perfect for us.
From the ceremony to the end of the night, everything was perfect and free flowing! He is also the nicest guy, and he wants to do a great job in all he does! We wanted to do the shoe game at our wedding and with all of my planning I completely forgot to look up questions for it or look into it and Joel completely took control of it and had a whole list of questions for us and I really appreciate it, I didn't realize he would come up with those questions for us!
Throughout our wedding he gave us shout outs, he stuck to the schedule and adjusted if needed, the music was perfect, and he made our guest laugh at the best times. We had a great experience with them and I would recommend them! -

Astounding
Joel was absolutely so wonderful helping us plan and coordinate our wedding! He was very patient, understanding, and very flexible with all of our needs. Total Event Audio & Lighting was an excellent team. Out of all our vendors, they were the ones that kept in contact with us throughout our entire time with them - from booking to event. Not only were they accommodating to all our requests, they even gave us ideas to make the reception SO. MUCH. FUN! If you are trying to decide between Total Event and another DJ, choose TOTAL EVENT!! -
