Vicki Sent on 06/01/2007Nichole was our Day-Of Coordinator. I couldn't afford to pay much for a DOC, but knew I needed one. Nichole's prices were BY FAR the best I found. When I met with her, she seemed very competent and asked lots of questions that I hadn't even thought of before. She was great about keeping in touch with me about everything and emailing my vendors in the days leading up to the wedding. She didn't even see the site until the day of the rehearsal, but still had great ideas on how to make things work. Given as how we were the first wedding at our site and had to rent EVERYTHING, her job was pretty hectic! We did A LOT of DIY that had very specific instructions, and she handled all of it very well. Nichole definitely made my day a lot easier! -

Ebony Sent on 07/27/2011Nichole was truly a life saver...I booked her as our DOC a little over 2 months before the wedding...I knew I would need a coordinator because we were all over the place and the day of would not have been the same.
I was a little upset because we bought the three piece cylinder vases with floating candles and she only put one vase per table which means we bought the stuff for nothing. But the guest didn't know the difference :)
I also feel like she should have been dressed a little more professional...that was disappointing
She also had hurt her foot and couldn't get around good and she only had one helper and could have used another person. her helper was cool
Also, as a planner it is good to keep a list of good vendors...that would be a big help to future brides
she helped me out a lot price wise....OMG thank you for that

In regards to the Vases, Ebony did not tell me how the arrangments were suppose to be set up. The bride also arrived almost 2 hours late and she had all of the supplies as she did not bring them to the rehearsal as planned.
As far as dressing professional, myself and staff were dressed in all Black. Black slacks,Black button up shirt and Black shoes, which is standard. Out of 13 years, we have never gotten a complaint.
Yes, my foot was hurt and i brought in assistant to make things easier. Bringing more helpers is very unrealistic when the client only pays $250.00 for total services. (this was a last minute special offer)

User1703165 Sent on 07/09/2014It has taken me 7 months to actually write this review. Let me start out by saying that I was a bride who simply wanted to get married. I did not have a lot of expectations. My goal was just to have a good time and accommodate all of my guest in the most elegant, affordable, and efficient manner possible. My husband and I felt Nicole would be the perfect leader on the day of our wedding, the glue that helped to put everything all together and kept things flowing. Nicole was excellent leading up to day. We were extremely content with her hardworking demeanor, availability, and expertise. Did I say resourceful?
The problems came the day of the wedding. I recall her telling me sometime before that she would not be present for the wedding rehearsal but for the reception. Nervous, but she reassured me that she had updated the alternate coordinator with all the information we had been discussing for months prior. I refuse to go into all of the details of what went wrong during the rehearsal, ceremony and cocktail hour due to the fact the alternate planner had absolutely no idea what she was doing and lack of presence by Nichole. To this day, I have not gotten a follow-up phone call regarding the wedding or apology for what occurred on that day. For weeks, I was speechless and to my defense my family even tried to communicate with her after the wedding, and Nichole was rude and unapologetic towards them. I do know what I could have done differently, because it was not my actions that created many of the circumstances, but decisions made by Nichole. No excuses or explanations were needed just a simple apology for areas were things fell short would have sufficed. My only hope is that this never happens to anyone else. The main thing is that, that very day I married an amazing man encourages me to forgive, pray, and keep moving forward.
