Liz from Twig & Turtle Photography is one of the best photographers i've ever encountered. She is a professional when it comes to working well with difficult lighting, her shots capture emotion and she is so much fun to work with! I highly recommend her. Her pictures speak for themselves. I highly recommend Twig & Turtle. Liz Margerum spent a half day with my fiancée and me in San Francisco and captured some amazing shots.
Liz's creativity and eye for beauty know no boundaries. Whether we were at the park, or in downtown, Liz always found the perfect shot and pose. And those smiles you see? They are genuine. Her sense of humor and passion for the art brought out the best in us. We had a lot of fun.
It's time to move away from cookie-cutter engagement photography. You know the kind: Cheesy smile on the beach or in a green field. Try something different. Go with Twig & Turtle for unforgettable photos--and an unforgettable experience. Thanks Liz!I highly recommend Twig & Turtle. Liz is terrific! She is professional, very flexible, and got some really unique and personal pictures of our event--including great pics of the groom/groomsmen and myself/bridesmaids getting ready that day. She tried very hard to get every single person attending the wedding in at least one picture, and did some really awesome, creative angles (she got up on a chair/table and took a great pic of me throwing my bouquet from above). All my friends who were married before me are totally jealous of my non-traditional and very beautiful wedding pictures. I would definitely recommend Twig & Turtle to anyone looking for a talented, easy-going wedding photograher--Liz will be the only person not adding stress to your special day! :)Liz is terrific! Twig and Turtle did an AMAZING job documenting our wedding! Liz, our photographer, is very committed to providing best results and capturing great memories. There was not one dull photo we received – they were all beautiful, rich and stunning. Liz used original angles, lenses and techniques to shoot, and her imagination and passion for photography shines through her work.
I should add that I was EXTREMELY (!) picky during my photographer selection, because at the end of the day, the only thing that’s left from my wedding day, is the pictures! And I am so happy I hired Liz – our wedding was outside, in the afternoon and Liz’s experience and knowledge about light and ability to...Twig and Turtle did an AMAZING job documenting our wedding! Liz, our photographer, is very committed to providing best results and capturing great memories. There was not one dull photo we received – they were all beautiful, rich and stunning. Liz used original angles, lenses and techniques to shoot, and her imagination and passion for photography shines through her work.

Liz was great and easy to work with for our wedding. A photographer is such and intimate part of a wedding. Liz was fun and positive and guided us through the whole day. We had a lot of 'diy' items, and she captured all of them perfectly. We also had a lot of smoke from nearby forest fires, but Liz stayed positive and worked with the smoke. The photos look absolutely amazing! It turns out that smoke can give quite a special touch to images.
