  Hire twin fin films!

  Working with Samuel at Twin Fin Films was such a dream! I found him through a personal recommendation who also had nothing but great things to say about his work.
  
  The initial communication process was very productive! I previously had a different videographer booked who completely ghosted me after I paid my deposit to them, so I was very up front about my communication expectations, especially because I was planning this wedding remotely. Samuel was very understanding and exceeded my expectations in all ways! He understood our vision of what we were wanting for our videos, adjusted his video package to include everything we wanted and nothing we weren't interested in.
  
  The day of our wedding, he worked seamlessly with our photographers and made my groom and myself feel so comfortable even though we get shy in front of the camera. He was also so kind and fun to be around.
  
  Our wedding video and teaser came rather quickly in comparison to others! We got our full video 3 months after our wedding and it was everything we wanted and more! The drone shots were beautiful, the compilation was stunning, and the editing was impeccable.
  
  But the BIGGEST reason why I would 1000% recommend to hire Samuel is that I was a complete dummy and misplaced my USB with ALL of our raw footage on it. So I reached out to him and he was gracious enough to send us a replacement!! Quite truly a lifesaver.
  
  If you are thinking about hiring Sam and his Twin Fin Films team, do it! You won't regret it!

  The initial communication process was very productive! I previously had a different videographer booked who completely ghosted me after I paid my deposit to them, so I was very up front about my communication expectations, especially because I was planning this wedding remotely.   Master at their craft

  Sam and Sofia of Twin Fin Films did a beautiful job with our wedding video. They were extremely personable and we never felt awkward in front of the camera. During the pre-wedding shoot and the wedding day itself, nothing felt staged or contrived. When we got the wedding films back we were blown away. The editing was so beautiful. They captured the day so perfectly - not just in terms of the details but in terms of the atmosphere and vibe. We would highly recommend couples to work with Twin Fin Films - you will not regret it. Thank you so much Sam and Sofia!! You guys are the best.

  Awesome to work with!

  Twin Fin Filmworks was fantastic to work with! Sam and his team completely captured the overall essence of our wedding. We didn't opt for a first look before our wedding, so most of our couple shots took place during our cocktail hour. Sam was very proactive and purposeful with the shots he got during the small window of time he had to work with. We are blown away with how it turned out! We also really loved their approach during the ceremony and reception. They completely blended in and got incredible candid shots of not only us, but also all of our guests. So many of our guests said they didn't even realize we had a videographer. This was really important to us as we didn't want the wedding to feel like a giant production. It was also great for me being a bit camera shy. The video turned out dreamy and magical and absolutely perfect. If we ever need a videographer again in HI, we will definitely be using Twin Fin Filmworks!

  Best Videographer Ever!

  I am so beyond thankful to have found Sam to be our videographer for our destination wedding in Hawaii! After sending an inquiry, Sam was so quick to jump on a call with us to talk about what we were looking for and make sure our needs were met! As you can imagine, the wedding day was so hectic and never quite goes how you plan, but Sam was the one thing that was perfect and he rolled with all punches and created the most amazing wedding video we could have ever imagined! I watch the video probably two times a day and so thankful he captured our special day that we can relive for the rest of our lives! I can not recommend Sam enough!

  Dreamy videos captured organically

  Sam delivered us a wonderful wedding video and he was so easy to work with! In particular, we loved the music choices and dreamy shots he featured in the videos. His style leans towards slow artistic shots that feature small details and moments. But best of all, Sam was amazing to work with - going above and beyond to deliver additional camera angles, drone footage, exceptionally crisp audio, and some raw footage we requested. We really enjoyed his laid back style and appreciated how cohesively he worked with us and also with our photographer. Your wedding day goes by so quickly that it’s a huge win to have your videographer be respectful of your time.

  If you went through the “friends first then lovers” pipeline like we did, then Sam is the choice for you. Your video will be full of you + your partner laughing, stealing kisses, inside jokes, and of course beautiful shots of your wedding and guests.
  
  What I love about Sam’s work: 1) music choice 2) all the drone shots 3) the perfect amount of romance.
  
  Sam was incredibly professional and attentive, listening to all of my requests. He has a keen eye for detail and was able to capture all of the important moments in a way that truly captured our essence as a couple.

  I highly recommend Twin Fin Filmworks

  I highly recommend Sam at Twin Fin Filmworks. The initial process, day of filming and final deliverables were all superb.
  
  Months ago, while preparing for our wedding, I was overwhelmed with so many videographer websites that all looked the same. Luckily, I landed on Twin Fin Filmwork’s site, which stood out with organic, hand-drawn artwork that helped tell a story of who they were. As a designer, I really appreciate good storytelling through visuals. After watching some of Twin Fin Filmworks sample videos, I knew that storytelling was important to them as well.
  
  I reached out to Sam, and luckily he was available to shoot our wedding. He was quick to respond via email and after our first phone consultation, I felt that Sam understood what we were looking for. Likewise, we had a good understanding of what Sam was like and trusted him to do what he does best.
  
  In addition to the wedding day shoot, we also purchased the “Couple Second Shoot.” I highly recommend doing this because it allows Sam to weave in other special moments to the main film. My husband and I had never done a professional photo or video shoot before. As awkward as we were, Sam made us feel comfortable during the whole process and in the final edit, we were amazed at how good he made us look!
  
  Thank you, Sam, for being so easy to work with and for the fantastic video work capturing our special day. There are details in the final edit that I really appreciate and you are truly a master of storytelling.

  Timeless, Classic, with Love & Aloha

  The best decision we made was investing in a videographer for our small intimate wedding. We found Sam, Twin Fin Filmworks through our wedding planner from StyledElopements/ ForTheGoodEvents based out in Oahu, HI.
  Our home is based out in CA, so a lot of the communication and planning were done through Zoom or Phone. Sam was amazing at communicating when it came to e-mail and setting up a meeting over-the-phone to get to know us. We appreciated this so much because we learned how important it was to capture our needs and vision for our wedding.
  Meeting Sam was extremely easy, thorough, and calming. He listened, offered advice, and made sure our story was told by his work. We discovered just how much we chose the right person when he explained how he works and how he delivers his art. Very important to have when knowing what services you’re paying for. He’s not your typical wedding videographer— his unique style makes him stand out and different, but still made it easy to trust him. We didn’t want a textbook wedding video and he was the perfect person for this. His background and interests matched ours, and we couldn’t be any happier. We shared the same music interests, lifestyle, and vibe. He was punctual, kind, patient and offered amazing direction during our special day. During our ceremony he was very honest with what he wanted to capture for us without making it look like a “basic” wedding. We loved it. He included drone footage (which was top tier), family, and made sure every important detail we wanted were a part of our video. Overall, Sam delivered with amazing service and our wedding video came out timeless, classic, with love & Aloha. The perfect way to describe our love story. Everything was sent on time and he even included a surprise in the mail with a USB copy of our video! The best Videographer in Oahu, HI!   Most talented videographer

  Out of all the vendor research we did for our wedding, finding the perfect videographer was at the very top of our list. I did extensive research on all the videographers in Hawaii. I stumbled upon Twin Fin Filmworks and I immediately knew that they were the one. So much so that we would have changed our wedding date to ensure we can secure Twin Fin Filmworks could capture one of the most important days of our lives! The vibe and aesthetic matched exactly what we were envisioning.
  
  Sam from Twin Fin Filmworks is an amazing human being. From the initial conversations over coffee and email till the actual wedding day - he was a dream to work with. He made us, the most uncomfortable/awkward couple, feel so comfortable and at ease throughout the entire process. Not only is he a brilliant videographer, he is also extremely hilarious and has the kindest heart!
  
  We received our wedding video recently and MAN! We are so extremely happy with it. He captured so many wonderful moments. The music. The vibe. Ugh everything was so amazing.

  Couldn't be happier with our wedding video!

  Like many couples, we had to postpone our wedding multiple times due to COVID, and ended up having a (very) pared down event with fewer than 50 guests. I was close to forgoing a wedding video for our micro-wedding, but I am SO glad we ultimately decided to have Sam and his team! Photos are nice, but nothing captures the day like a video. Watching it is like re-living the day, and it's so easy to share with friends and family who couldn't be there in person. The music, the speech snippets, and all the candid moments are woven into a 5 minute masterpiece. We wanted Twin Fin specifically because of all the (well-deserved) wonderful reviews, and their particular aesthetic. Wedding videos can be super cheesy and cliche, but Sam's videos have that cool-classy-retro Hawaii vibe we were looking for. (For the record, as a couple we are not particularly "cool" but Sam managed to make us look good!) Sam and his team are also such professionals. They were able to capture all the special moments without it feeling like they were right there. In fact, I hardly noticed them filming! They were also able to pull us away at just the right times for some couples shots so we didn't miss any key portions of the party. We've sent the video around, and everyone who sees it has the same comment: "wow, whoever made this is really talented!" We couldn't agree more.

  Great experience and so worth it!

  At the start of wedding planning we didn't think we wanted to spend the extra money on a video but once we realized our photographer came in under budget we decided to look into getting a videographer as well and I'm SO glad we did. Sam was one of multiple videographers recommended by our wedding planner. He gave us a bit of direction for some footage just after the ceremony which came out beautifully but we otherwise forgot we were even being filmed for the rest of the evening.   Music Video Wedding - a break from the norm

  My wife and I were originally on the fence about getting a videographer for our wedding. Wedding videos are certainly an extra expense, and they are often pretty cheesy and one-size-fits-all. We ultimately decided that we did want pro-looking video footage to remember our day, and went with Sam. Having Sam shoot our wedding was one of the best decisions we had made regarding our big day, and so worth it. The day happens in such a blur, and you only really have your (faulty and overwhelmed) memory to rely on. It's really nice to have actual footage of it - to see how your parents look as you walk down the isle with them, to re-listen to your wedding parties speeches, etc etc etc.
  
  Sam was an absolute pleasure to work with. We chose to work with him after reviewing several options for our wedding at Kualoa Ranch. What drew us to him was that his wedding video style felt very authentic to each couple, and not the same tacky, cookie cutter style/music/vibes that typically characterize wedding videos. Basically we wanted something that was just the right amount of cheesy, but that really felt like a candid music video of us hanging out with all our favorite friends and family on our special day. We watched a few of the videos he had made, and after talking with him, we were sold. Sam's price was also very reasonable, and cheaper than most. We requested the larger package that includes a longer video as well as a separate shoot a few days prior to get some shots of us in plain clothes just hanging out. I thought it was a really nice touch for the video. We also paid a little extra for full ceremony and toast footage. On the day of, we felt very comfortable around Sam - he was seen when he needed us to do stuff but was like a video ninja for the rest of it, capturing little moments between us and our guests. We got the videos about 4 months after the event, and we really couldn't be happier. Thanks Sam!!!!!! We are so happy with how everything turned out.

  Amazing to work with!

  We just received our highlight video from our wedding in November at Kualoa Ranch and couldnt be happier! Sam caught amazing details and presents it in such an artistic way, i can barely believe its us in the video! He was easy to work with, super accommodating and has a great vibe about him. We would highly recommend calling Sam if you're looking for a unique video of your big day!

  Highly recommend - Sam saved the day!

  We highly recommend you hire Sam to film your wedding in Hawaii. Not only are his videos a beautiful and artistic representation of the day, but we really enjoyed working with him. He listened and responded to my many questions and made the project feel collaborative. When the north shore got hit by a gnarly storm on our wedding day, Sam saved the day by coaching us through the process of moving the event back a day (which we could do given that it was a very small wedding). Although at that point, since he couldn’t film the wedding himself, he hooked us up with another talented videographer (hey Kyle) and helped us finalize the arrangements which really helped our stress/anxiety of things not going exactly as planned. In our opinion, Sam went above and beyond by arranging for Kyle to video the wedding despite the date change and we are so glad because Kyle was so kind and thoughtful and lovely to have around which was super important given the size of or wedding. We are so grateful for Sam and the beautiful video we get to watch over and over again.

  Hawaii is such a special place to us, I knew I had to have a video to capture our big day. I started looking through a ton of different wedding videos trying to find that something special that made me decide this is who I wanted to capture our day. I happened to come across Twin Fin Filmworks and watched the videos that Sam has created and I knew instantly this was who I wanted to do ours!! They were different ( in a good way ) than so many of the others I had come across.
  When I contacted Sam to see if he was available, I liked him right away. Super nice and a kind guy on top of his amazing talent! We kept in touch before the wedding. I was a little worried since my wedding wasn't going to be as grand as some of the others that I had seen, would it still be possible to get a great video? He reassured me that wasn't necessary to have a great video. From our talks he put my worries at ease and I knew he'd be there when I needed him and that he was!
  Now that we have had our wedding and have been able to see his awesome work in the videos he created for us, we couldn't be happier!! When he was at the wedding, he was great. Totally made us feel comfortable. Plus he was a fun guy to be around! Everyone who has watched the videos he created for us have been completely blown away!! He has an eye for finding the best moments and putting them with the music - unbelievable talent is all I can say!   Guys, when I say Sam is great, I mean Sam is wonderful, original and unique in what he does. My husband and I eloped to Oahu and needed someone who would be thorough and capture the important details so my family and friends could still feel like they were apart of our day and Sam really made that happen. We got married close to four months ago and when I watch our video it seriously brings tears to my eyes. He was overall just a good guy, it was like having another friend there.

Then when my husband and I first met with Sam in person (which was also the day we did the pre-wedding filming), we had such a great time! Sam was so personable and helpful and went above and beyond to get all the shots we asked for/wanted. And his patience prevails when dealing with terrible "actors" like my husband and me (lol). On our wedding day, Sam showed up with another shooter and they both worked tirelessly the whole day to capture all the beautiful moments from our wedding for us. When Sam showed us the product, we were so happy. The video could not have turned out any better! It was perfect! And to top off all of those amazing quality that you would want in a videographer, Sam offers his service at a great price! My husband and I did not plan to have a videographer but once we decided to have one, I was determined to find the right one and Sam was that and more!

  Twin Fin Filmworks WAS AMAZING! The company owned and artistically created by Sam is the only videographer in Hawaii where you will find such personal, professional and thoughtfully curated pieces.
  We definitely aren't Tom Brady or Giselle but he captured our best and most true selfs, which truly is priceless considering we will use this as proof to our children that we were once young and wild! All jokes aside... Twin Fin Filmworks captured our day, the day that passes too quickly. Luckily, we have video of it!
