If you are looking for a top notch venue then look no further! This place was magnificent! From the front gates, the reception area, the mansion it was just breathtaking! It was everything our kids were looking for and more! The staff omg I can’t say enough about them! We weren’t just two extra families there to have a wedding we were all just family! They welcomed us like we were long lost relatives they hadn’t seen in years. The kitchen facilities were excellent! It turned out to be a rainy, cloudy day so the wedding had to be moved inside. I don’t think it could have been more perfect if we’d been able to have it on the front lawn. Beautiful all the way around! Literally!! Did I mention the staff?? Lol amazing people!! So if you are looking for the perfect place to have your wedding this is it! They definitely gave Jordan and Shelby Combs the fairytale wedding they wanted! Thank you again Twin Oaks!

The Venue at Twin Oaks was absolutely perfect! Besides the beautiful house and grounds (seriously, just look at their pictures it is STUNNING!!!), the Twin Oaks team made the planning process and the day of the wedding flow seamlessly. They were extremely helpful, professional, and easy to work with. Planning your wedding during a worldwide pandemic is less than ideal, but they made sure we could still have our dream wedding despite any uncertainties or last minute adjustments. They were quick to respond any time we had a question or needed suggestions. We were not overly familiar with the area, and Karl had a wonderful list of vendor recommendations that helped ease the stress of planning. We were given ample time to set up and to have the rehearsal dinner. We looked into several Antebellum style venues, and this one was by far the most economical for all that is included (and it was certainly the most beautiful one). I cannot recommend Twin Oaks enough! We are so thankful they helped make our big day one to remember!!!

The Venue at Twin Oaks is beyond what I could ever have imagined it to be. The owners & employees did an amazing job of making my dreams come true! The staff went above and beyond by listening to my vision and making it reality. From setting up the arbor, all the chairs, & making sure everything was clean before beginning the set ups to checking in on myself and the bridal party- seeing if there was anything we needed. I am just overwhelmed by their acts of service. They were and are a blessing to every bride that celebrates their big day at the venue. Thank you Mason, Allie, Danielle, Angela, & Karl for all of your hard work! I will always be grateful & thankful for each of you!

I fell in love with Twin Oaks upon our first visit and their service/assistance during Covid-19 was nothing short of wonderful! The staff was so gracious and helped us reschedule our wedding with such ease. Our wedding day ran so smoothly and was everything we could have asked for!

I’m still in awe of how perfect my wedding day was!! Twin Oaks is absolutely stunning—there’s adequate space indoors and outdoors. The lawn, flowers, trees, etc really gives this place the “IT” factor. My favorite is the reception hall and the backyard area with the string lights and bad house. Look no further, the place is BEAUTIFUL and the staff (Karl, Angela and Allison) were great to work with.

Karl and Melissa are amazing! Can’t wait to continue working with them and getting married here next fall!

Karl and Angela are the best people in the wedding business! Ive never met more kind or flexible people! They made everything I couldve ever dreamed of come true! Ive never felt more welcomed and comfortable with any vendors ever! Wouls definitely recommend to anyone wanting a dream wedding and perfect venue team

Although I was skeptical of this venue because of the pricing, I don’t believe we could have had a nicer wedding anywhere else or a better experience. The staff was so helpful and made everything go like clockwork. For events this venue is top notch and first class all the way

This venue is so beautiful and absolutely amazing to work with. It is set up perfectly for a reception in the back complete with a bar & lights. Stunning place!

Terrie Hopper and her husband, the owners, were so wonderful to work with. They gave us the best quality possible for the price we paid. They were willing to meet with us at the property any time we requested. They took care of our rentals and were thoughtful and remained on the property all day the day of our wedding performing any last minute task that needed to be done. I give them an A+!!!

The venue was perfect for me and my fiancé. If you are looking for a elegant backdrop and versatility this is the perfect place.

My fiancé and I have booked Twin Oaks for our upcoming wedding and we are so excited! Karl, the owner, has been nothing but helpful and accommodating and the property is so beautiful! There are awesome options for both an indoor and outdoor wedding and we can't wait until our big day. The bridal suite is gorgeous, there is plenty of parking, and it is set off the road. You completely forget you're downtown. Love it!

The venue at Twin Oaks is truly gorgeous and nothing like it in the Humboldt and Jackson area. However, the house itself and brick walkway to the house could definitely be updated especially before adding brick wall (that wasn't originally there when we booked) and wood doors for the brick wall. While walking down the aisle my heel got caught in a hole in the brick walkway would not have happened if the walkway has been fixed and take care of better. Furthermore, the columns on the house are starting to crumble. I know they want to keep it to the original state, but there is a better way to go about it. Also, I think it best to let future brides to be and people who are thinking about using the venue to ask Karl and Melisa all the questions you need to know before signing the contract and if they tell you anything extra or special to get it in writing. We notice during the year and a half from signing to our wedding date that some information and extra details changed, and if we still wanted them it would cost extra or was no longer available. I also think it is best to let future brides know that during our wedding money was stolen inside the house (from the second floor) and our wedding cards were stolen. The venue owner and coordinator did not help or seem to care at all. So make sure to have your valuables in your eye or someone you trust (not a hired vendor) to keep an eye on it and maybe hire security to be on the safe side since the venue is not in the best area especially at night. Again the venue is gorgeous you just need to take extra steps to make sure your big day is everything you dreamed it would be.

The owner was rude and unprofessional, and was late to our prescheduled tour of the venue. The owner claimed that they would provide services and items that weren’t listed in the contract, but then became angry when I asked to see those same services reflected in the contract to the point of belligerence. Others have had success with the owner, but we chose to get married elsewhere. We hope your experience at Twin Oaks is better than ours, because the venue is absolutely beautiful.
