Our wedding was last weekend at Hacienda de las Colinas in San Rafael. It turned out PERFECT and better than we had imagined, thanks to Chris! Everyone could not stop talking about how beautiful everything was. She is great to work with and is amazing! She really does treat your special day like it’s her own. My mother and I hired Chris only for the rehearsal and the day of the wedding and to be honest, I was a little nervous that we would not receive much guidance throughout the planning process, but that is not the case. Chris would check in to make sure we were on track with plans and was extremely helpful every step of the way. As the bride, the few weeks before (and even on the wedding day), I did not experience that nervous, stressed out feeling I was warned about because I knew that Chris had everything under control. Chris was fabulous. I hired her to do "rehearsal and day of" planning and coordination for my daughter's wedding which was at our home in Santa Rosa. Chris lives over an hour away but does event planning over the entire San Francisco Bay area. We had several in person and phone meetings over the months before the wedding and she was extremely helpful in getting the "look" of the wedding right, choosing table linens and decor and working with vendors. On the day of the wedding Chris was at our home at 10 a.m sharp and she never stopped working until midnight. She directed the table linen and decor setup, coordinated all the comings and goings of the vendors and made sure that everything that was supposed to happen actually happened on time and without drama. I could not have done it without her! She thinks on her feet and is very fun to work with.Chris was fabulous. A friend recommended Chris Flitter when I started planning my wedding a year ago and I loved working with her! I had a decent sense of what I wanted so I opted for her base package. I had plenty of questions along the way, however, and Chris was so helpful and responsive. She had great vendor recommendations and worked with the rental company to make sure I had everything I needed. My venue was beautiful, but a bit complicated with multiple outdoor areas for the ceremony, hors d'oeurvres, dinner and dancing. Come the big day, Chris brought a 3rd assistant just to be sure the wedding went off without a hitch! Above all, Chris is fun, energetic and down to earth so interactions felt more like talking to a friend, rather than "work". Working with Chris Flitter is the best decision you can make for your wedding. She will take your vision and make it more beautiful and unique than you ever could have dreamed. Chris Flitter from Twist was an incredible part of our wedding planning process. I can not recommend her highly enough. My whole family is on the East Coast, and I am out here in California, so I really needed help. And she was amazing.
First of all, the ideas she had for the reception were great. She is very creative and came up with ideas I wouldn't have thought of that turned out wonderful. She had recommendations for which vendors were great, some that maybe I should steer clear of, and she took care of everything the day of the wedding. More than she was supposed to!
During the planning process she made things seem smooth and easy. I kept waiting for the really stressful part of the planning to start, but there really wasn't one. She was very responsive to my questions and comments, and she helped keep us on track with things we were supposed to be doing on our own.
Between her enthusiasm, her ideas, her professionalism and her ability to get things done, the wedding would not have been the same without her, and I would not hesitate to recommend her to a friend. I won't be getting married again, but maybe I can hire her for an anniversary party someday...Chris Flitter from Twist was an incredible part of our wedding planning process. Chris Flitter at Twist is the latter. What makes Chris so exceptional is the quality of her work ethic coupled with the magnitude of her heart. She epitomizes responsiveness, dependability, resourcefulness, and care. My husband and I are still astounded by how she approached every wedding challenge with grace and skill. As a result of her diligence, we lived the wedding of our dreams. And whereas many brides probably look back on the wedding process and think of it as something they survived, I actually revel the planning phase . . . it makes me smile just thinking of how much fun it was to work with her to add those personal touches that everyone who attended still talks about. Chris was as passionate about our wedding as we were. While extremely knowledgeable and always professional, she was as good a friend as a coordinator.
Her work ethic is superbabove and beyond the call of duty. Listening to all your needs and wants, she implements a workable plan and strives to make your wedding day spectacular. She also has a great reputation in the industry and a vast number of resources at her disposal. Everyone that meets her loves her. We couldnt have asked for a better coordinator.
Our wedding day was ABSOLUTELY beautiful and flawless! It would not have been without her. I recently recommend her services to our friends who were grateful for the referral and sang high praises for her results. My husband and I feel there is no one out there like her.
