Courtney and Carey were incredible. They made us so comfortable the entire day of our wedding. They were fun and knew our venue well. We knew they’d work well together as husband and wife but seeing it in person the day of wedding just proved that they are a dream team!
From the beginning, Courtney answered all my questions and talked through a detailed timeline with us. She took the time to get to know our family tree so all necessary shots were taken. They are positive and helped us stick to our timeline. We had a blast with them and we cannot wait for our sneak peeks!

Our May 2021 wedding on Sanibel Island was made even more special, thanks to Courtney & Carey. We postponed our original 2020 date, and this planning was made seamless. We met with Courtney a few months prior to go over details, and no stone was left unturned! On our wedding day, we cannot say enough positive things about Courtney & Carey; professional, yet personable and fun. From Courtney bustling my dress, to keeping track of time and listening to a vent session (or two), they were wonderful to work with. Our guests still talk about how impressed they were with C&C as our photography team. We are SO happy that we chose TOF Imagery, and highly recommend booking them for your wedding. Courtney and Carey did an absolutely amazing job capturing our special day! The first day I reached out to Courtney, we had a lengthy conversation about what my husband and I envisioned for our day, our personalities, and our families. It made it an easy decision to choose Twist of Fate because I could tell that Courtney truly wanted to get to know us as a couple and ensure that we had the experience we were looking for. The day of our wedding, Courtney and Carey far exceeded our expectations with their professionalism, positive personalities, and true enthusiasm for photography. Throughout our wedding day our guests approached us commenting that they were sure we would get beautiful photos, because Courtney and Carey were always in the right place at the right time. In addition to our photos coming out absolutely stunning, every time there was a sentimental hug or an inside joke, Courtney and Carey were always there to capture the moment. We cannot thank them enough for doing such an exceptional job photographing our day and providing to us the most beautiful memories. I highly recommend these two! -

From the moment we e-mailed Courtney until final photos landed in our inbox, one word comes to mind: effortless.
We talked on the phone, met during a quick trip, she even answered our frantic e-mails during a hurricane to assure us that island was fine and the sun was going to be perfect on our day. She picked a handful of locations for first-looks, hustled to capture a few moments of everyone who attended our ceremony, and did not waste a single second of sunset (and didn't stumble walking backwards through sand dunes).
She knew our venue intimately, catered to our couple-style (smiles, laughs, dancing, and intimate moments), and never once left me with doubts that our day would be captured perfectly. And it was - and she even snapped photos we didn't think of that are now favorites.
As I said to her, the greatest challenge after our wedding is not framing literally every photo she returned. I consider her part of our wedding story - and there's no better compliment I can give. -

Fantastic experience
Courtney and Carey were phenomenal to work with. They are so friendly and easy going, but knew how to get a good pose and make it look natural. Everyone in the bridal party and our families raved about them. The pictures are what I had envisioned and they are simply gorgeous. I would book them again in a second. -

I can't thank Courtney and Carey enough for the beautiful moments they capture at our wedding. I'm so happy with the final gallery. Courtney was amazing through the whole process, super easy to talk to and flexible. She totally understood what I wanted and made magic happened!! She was extremely punctual and made sure we were on schedule the whole time. I was so surprised when she send me some pictures just a few days after the wedding for a sneak peak. Super happy I chose Twist of Fate and would definitely recommend them. -

I'm about to write a review that NONE OF YOU will believe wasn't written by an employee or relative, but, rest assured it is. With less than 3 months to plan a wedding, I was scrambling for the major vendors (photo +flowers) -thank god the venue was secure. Hawks Cay had given me their top photographers, and when I called Courtney to chat I KNEW that she was the one (the fact that she called our fuzzy baby, aka, dog, adorable, def helped). From the moment we started talking, Courtney was available to discuss what we wanted shot, what our ultimate outcome was (in my case, just 1 picture of my husband, myself and our doggy that we would want to frame.....we are both very selective and would rather put a picture of just the dog on the wall than the 3 of us). 4 days after the wedding, as we were flying to our honeymoon, I got an email from Courtney sharing 6 photos as a 'preview'- and they were soon all posted to IG and Facebook because they were perfection. I was shocked how gorgeous, stunning, and perfect they looked and couldn't wait to see the rest of the gallery. Those 6 pictures alone assured me that we had hired the most talented, stunning, and capable team possible, and I would have paid our final total alone just for those 6 pictures.... that's how amazing they were.
Courtney doesn't need direction- she came in during hair and makeup and took pictures that I didn't know I would want until I saw her final gallery. She crafts a story out of your dress, shoes, small tokens like hats, or just a hand painted cup given by a friend, and creates an indelible image in her photography. She and her amazing husband work as a cohesive team to create a visual story that you relive every time you flick through your wedding gallery. It's phenomenal the way they are so in sync and cohesive in their separate shots. For example, while Courtney was shooting me (the bride) getting ready, taking shots of my dress, rings, etc, when I saw the finished gallery of the groomsmen (shot by Carey) it was perfectly matched to my photos. I think that the most telling part of this amazing team's professionalism and quality came after the wedding, when the bride and groom were being whisked away to a secondary location shot-in the golf cart I looked at my new husband and said 'wait until you see what courtney shot while i was getting ready...your mom, my mom, our nieces, etc'....to which my husband said 'OMG i was going to tell you that you are going to freak out when you see what Carey shot with your nephew and Parker (our doggy)....it's amazing" .....we were both right.
Courtney and Carey, thank you so so so much for capturing our amazing day, putting whatever filter on those pictures that you did that made us look better than ever (seriously, is that available on IG?), and ultimately far succeeding anything we could have ever imagined.
For anyone debating on a Hawks Cay/Florida Keys wedding....STOP DEBATING NOW , and hire the best. xoxoxoox- Courtney, James, + Parker -

Ashley Sent on 07/13/2017Courtney was an absolute pleasure to work with and her photos are amazing!! The photos from the wedding are better than I could have imagined and she captured every moment! She made us feel at ease in front of the camera and kept us laughing all day and night! We will definitely need to take a trip to Marathon again in the future for an anniversary or family portrait session! :) -

She was so helpful on the wedding day to keep everyone organized and have the day running smoothly--not only was she taking (amazing!) photos, she felt like the best day-of coordinator too. We had Courtney and her husband as a second shooter, and they were so friendly to be around, but were also able to be direct and professional in order to keep things moving and get the shots we wanted.
Our experience on the day was top notch, and we were over the moon with the final product. Our photos are gorgeous and we are so thrilled.
