Michelle was a fantastic wedding planner who I am very grateful my wife and I got to work with. She was extremely knowledgeable about the space and was a great guide. Leading up to the wedding, she took exactly what my wife and I wanted and helped convey that message to our vendors perfectly. Beyond grateful!

When I got engaged, my fiancé and I agreed that hiring a wedding planner would be beneficial. We both were looking for someone who would provide guidance, wonderful recommendations, but more importantly someone who we felt would support us throughout the wedding process. Best Decision We Made!

Michelle was just a phone call or email away when we had any issues, always responding promptly and going into problem solving mode and having any tough conversations for us.

We were already so impressed by Michelle leading up to the wedding, but fast forward to our wedding day, and Michelle again exceeded all expectations. Michelle prepared detailed schedules for the wedding party, coordinated all details with vendors, managed and set up all our decor, among other items, such that we didn’t have to worry about anything but showing up on the day of the wedding. The only part that we, as a couple, were stressed about was the weather. It was our dream to get married in the beautiful Italian gardens of Crane Estate, but mother nature gave us a run for our money – with severe thunderstorms predicted. Michelle never gave up hope, though, and she worked closely with the venue to track the weather. On our wedding day, showers began to start before our ceremony, but Michelle meticulously watched the radar and identified a short timeframe during which the rain would ease up. She quickly corralled all vendors and wedding guests to the Italian gardens, and, in the nick of time, before the severe thunderstorms rolled in, we were able to have the ceremony of our dreams outdoors. Without having Michelle there as our advocate, there is no way this would have been possible. We will forever be thankful for Michelle’s quick thinking, ability to lead teams under pressure, and her dedication to helping us execute the wedding that we had dreamed of. Our vendor team (all of which Michelle recommended) was also incredible, and despite the chaos of the day due to weather, they all executed their respective roles flawlessly. We truly cannot thank Michelle enough for all of her help.

Lastly, we think it’s important to mention that Michelle is not only a one-of-a-kind talented wedding planner, but she is also a really kind person and becomes a genuine friend throughout the process. Michelle is a wedding planner because she genuinely loves helping couples have the weddings of their dreams; her enthusiasm is contagious, and although my husband and I were really stressed at times about the whole process, Michelle eased our nerves and instead made us feel excited about the big day.

In all, we HIGHLY recommend hiring Michelle; it is a decision you will not regret!

You need a Michelle

Twist Six and Michelle were a fantastic partner to have in our corner!! From our initial call, 10 months out from our wedding, right after we had booked our venue, to every detail along the way – Michelle was there for it all. She was a great sounding board for our (sometime wild) ideas and came up with suggestions for how to bring them to live. Michelle managed all of our chosen vendors and the many, many logistics, negotiations and planning to bring our magical day to fruition. And it truly was magical. I can’t even imagine all of the behind-the-scenes phone calls, emails and fire drills that happen along the way but with Michelle, you’ll never see it…or get stressed about it. She’s got you!!

Michelle was my month-of planner, which was perfect because just as all the vendors were starting to reach out with final details, questions, and forms and timeline questions, she was there to jump in and help me organize, execute, and communicate with all of the vendors!

Her Aisle Planner software task checklists, the budgeting tools she had set up on the site, the notes and guides she included as well, and the seating planner system she has were hugely helpful, and I highly highly recommend using those tools as soon as you book her!

I think the most crucial benefit of working with Michelle was her vision for the timing and flow of the day. And most of this work is done prior to the day, so it was really great to have her for the whole month prior to the event. I had initially been concerned about various people’s opinions about order and timing of formalities and for how to squeeze in all of the different timings vendors needed for their roles, and I received a lot of different advice over the past year of wedding planning. I really wanted our guests to enjoy the day and to balance out all of the formalities with plenty of fun and attention to their needs, and had a lot of different questions for her on timing and flow. Michelle really helped me sift through all of the different concerns and options to create a timeline that was so much better than the one I had come to on my own. She was great at weighing up the pros and cons of each decision, and was always down to do whatever I ended up deciding, but I deferred to her suggestions on most things – with wonderful results! She also helped communicate any changes in plans with all of the vendors, which again, was so great because at that month-of point I was also fielding a lot of messages and last minute questions from our guests, and I could focus on that and making them feel informed and comfortable while she took on the vendor communication role for that final big push.

Day-of was such a blur, and if anything went wrong, I guess I wouldn’t know because Michelle did such a great job in partnership with our venue coordinator, Teri, in managing things behind the scenes! :-) Michelle was there for me at crucial moments, and it was really wonderful to have someone helping me so my two sisters/maids of honor, my husband Alex, and I could really be present with our family and friends! We cannot thank her enough for helping us execute this wonderful, whirlwind multi-component milestone day!

Not all heroes wear capes!

Working with Michelle was the best decision we could have made. She is organized, thoughtful, persistent when it's needed, and truly incredible at this job. If I could have done anything different throughout my wedding planning journey, it would have been hiring Michelle earlier on in the planning process! Incredible wedding planner!

This is where Michelle from TwistSix comes in. From our first phone call, I felt like she wanted to help me achieve my vision and make my load easier. I had already gotten the church and venue before I started working with her, but she helped me secure the rest of our vendors (and the BEST DJ EVER!) and made sure everything was taken care of at the right time. Her gentle reminders kept me on track; she made the phone calls I didn’t have time for, she gathered the information and let me choose. Best of all, she listened to me and often repeated my own ideas back to me when I wasn’t sure what to do. She had no “stake” in the game - she wanted our day to be the best and what we wanted. Her objective view was so incredibly helpful - I can’t stress this enough!

And of course, the weeks leading up to the wedding and day-of help were absolutely instrumental in the day running perfectly. I’m sure there were some problems along the way, but I never knew about them! She did all of the little tasks and I’m sure I can’t even name them all. She got breakfast for the groom and groomsmen and delivered it to the hotel, she made sure everyone was lined up for the ceremony and looking their best, she went to the venue and made sure the tables and set up were just perfectly how we had discussed, she even helped a guest sew a rip in a dress in the bathroom as the night went on! My bridesmaids were so impressed with her helpfulness (and maybe jealous that I had her when they didn’t for their own weddings!). I didn’t have to put stress on any bridesmaids or family members and everyone was able to enjoy the day, which is exactly what I wanted. Above all, Michelle is a wonderful person who is very easy to work with. She knows the Boston/New England wedding scene, and she helped me stay within my budget while helping to orchestrate the best day ever!

As the wedding approached, her check-ins, best-practices, and online tools kept us on track and stress-free, meaning that our final two weeks were spent completely coasting and celebrating the moment. She and her team executed our dream wedding flawlessly, and were incredibly helpful in orchestrating the rehearsal, day-of schedule, vendor management, pick ups/drop offs, set up and decoration (stunning!), and clean up. She had even previously worked at our wedding venue, so it felt like it was meant to be.

We trusted Michelle completely from the beginning. Which was a great choice, because her recommendations are ultimately what made our wedding so fantastic. Unless you’ve planned a wedding, it’s pretty challenging to envision how a bunch of Pinterest ideas can become a cohesive design. Michelle brought our vision to life. Her suggestions created a team of the absolute best in their fields.

Michelle makes your happiness her priority and she goes above and beyond to make things perfect. An amazing thing about Michelle is how she’s able to just get things done. If I told Michelle there was something I didn’t like (or sometimes she just sensed it!) she’d immediately have it changed. Knowing there’s always someone in your corner advocating for you is priceless.

When our wedding had to be postponed, it was devastating. We’d been planning since 2018. Michelle worked with our vendors and we chose a day everyone could make work. It was a pretty seamless transition.

The nicest part about having Michelle and the biggest reason everyone should hire her (on top of all the wonderful things you’ll know about), is because of all the things she does that you’ll never know about. Problems with vendors, venues, guests, contracts (the list of things she’ll take care of for you goes on). Plus, everyone says things always go wrong on your wedding day and I’m sure mine wasn’t any different, but I have no idea about anything that didn’t go smoothly. Michelle orchestrated everything perfectly! Plus, she made time to bring us everything we wanted and needed! The day is so much more relaxing when you know nothing bad can happen because Michelle will take care of everything.

Michelle was easily the best choice we made for our special day. She knows all the best people, she’s patient, detail oriented, and doubles as best friend and confidante if things fall apart. If you’re going to have a party, budget for the person who will make sure it’s exquisitely designed, goes off without a hitch and leaves you free to enjoy your day!

Michelle was amazing! I truly did not think I needed a day of coordinator/wedding planner however my Mom was insistent. We both called a handful of planners however when I finished my initial call with Michelle I knew she was exactly right for what we needed. She was so incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. Bridesmaid for Outdoor Wedding

Michelle is AMAZING! She was so helpful to everyone at the rehearsal so we felt really comfortable. The day of the wedding there was nothing she didn’t have or do to make sure the day was less than flawless. The two year process of planning our dream outdoor tented wedding in my husband's hometown in Somerset, MA may not have been the easiest, but hiring Michelle Sullivan of Twist Six Events was by far the easiest decision we made.

Days, weeks, and now one month after our wedding day has come and gone, and my husband and I are in full agreement that Michelle was truly the MVP of our wedding, and our best investment of all of our wedding vendors. Though we only needed Michelle for her day-of services, we received her TLC over the course of our two years of planning. We met in person soon after we were engaged, and reviewed our big picture plans with Michelle. From the start, she was fully aligned with our vision and was quick to share various resources to help with our vendor research (i.e. FAQ templates when meeting with Photographer, Caterer, Florist, etc), take over communication I had started with one of my vendors as she had connected with him previously in networking events (and even helped score some discounts!), and constantly checked in with me over email.

She even saw on social media that I was in NYC on a business trip during the same time she was meeting with another client and visiting family just one month prior to my big day, and proactively reached out to see if I'd be free to meet on a whim. That impromptu and serendipitous meeting over coffee and bagels from Russ and Daughters (yum) ended up being the most productive meeting, not to mention, eased a lot of my pre-wedding jitters as she ran through her checklist and helped me tie some loose ends. Needless to say, I SO appreciated Michelle squeezing me in on her own time. This is just one of MANY examples of how Michelle pours her heart and soul into Twist Six Events, and will make each and every one of her clients feel supported through the planning process, and excited for their big day!

Michelle ticked all of the boxes for my dream planner: flawless work ethic, crystal clear communication, top-notch organization, and superb professionalism. She is very smart with her suggestions, and knows exactly how to offer her opinions while keeping the couple's vision in mind.

Our wedding was the first of its kind to be hosted on town property, and Michelle was up for the challenge from day one. I give her MAJOR kudos for her patience as there were many moving pieces and nuances to our wedding - from helping to navigate through some tenting and lighting logistics, to wrangling in all of the vendors we vetted out throughout New England, Michelle never let me worry about a single thing despite the control freak that I am!

For someone who cannot function without a schedule, Michelle was a dream come true as she produced the most detailed wedding timeline which she distributed to our wedding party during rehearsal dinner. Leading up to the big day, Michelle and I met on site to walk through our vision one more time, and reviewed various lists i.e. Packing list, Signage list, Placement list (of where I wanted certain props/signs to go). She even generated a blueprint to scale to provide to the vendors which ensured a smooth set-up.

On the big day, Michelle drove back and forth checking in with me and dropping off lunch in the bridal suite, and facilitating set-up on site (shout-out to Zach, for being the best right-hand-man EVER)! With wedding planning being top of mind for two years, one of my favorite moments was pulling up to the ceremony/reception site, and seeing what was once a blank canvas, now the most stunning, rustic, garden wedding a girl could ever dream of. The final result was a product of hard work and communication between Michelle and myself, and I had to hold back tears of joy and pride before walking down the aisle to say "I do."

Every signage was in its place, and tables and chairs set up according to the blueprint. I could not, and would not change ONE thing about our wedding day, which is a huge testament to the impeccable job Michelle had done. She continued to impress us throughout the night even after hours, as she helped break down some things and ensured valuables were looked after.

I recently texted with Michelle letting her know I am already looking forward to my next celebration, just so I can have an excuse to hire her and work together again. She was a complete joy, and an absolute dream to work with. You will NOT be disappointed. You know you hired the best in the industry, when you repeatedly hear from your wedding guests, "best wedding ever."

Perfect Wedding Day

Michelle is fantastic! If you are looking for a wedding planner, look no further. From the moment we started chatting I knew that I needed Michelle by my side when wedding planning. Even if you are type A (like me) and think you’ve got it all covered, you still NEED Michelle. She is organized, thoughtful, kind, creative and full of great ideas! She put all my worries at ease, and I genuinely believe we enjoyed our wedding more fully, knowing that she was handling everything behind the scenes. She was the best problem solver, and stayed until the very end of our wedding to make sure everything little detail went according to plan! Stress-free Wedding planning!

Michelle is the BEST! I wanted a quick engagement and a unique wedding venue and Michelle worked with me to find the perfect fit for me and my husband. She made the process enjoyable and stress free! She knew my vision and was able to help me find the best fit for vendors and decor. We found out about an unexpected move close to the wedding and Michelle gladly took on multiple tasks for me so I could focus on other things. Our wedding was perfect and I owe a lot of credit to Michelle.

From the minute we met and explained our ideas and thoughts, she jumped right in and had similar images as us to help us picture our wedding day from start to finish. The best decision I made while wedding planning was hiring Michelle!! :)

When I say that Michelle helped to make our wedding day perfect, I sincerely mean it!! I started working with her about a year before our wedding, and she was so helpful every step of the process. The year before was a very busy year for my fiance and I as we were both in post-grad programs and working - Michelle helped to take a lot of the stress of wedding planning off our plates! Couldn't have had our dream wedding without Michelle!

My husband and I cannot say enough good things about working with Michelle! She truly guided us through the entire process and was a savior on the day of the wedding. At the beginning of wedding planning my fiancée and I were slightly overwhelmed with the amount of vendors we needed to find and the tasks that need to be completed. Not only did she remind us of what we needed to do to stay on schedule, she would often check in to see how we were feeling (sometimes the home stretch of planning can get stressful!). If we ever got stressed she would do what ever she could to alleviate that stress and continue the excitement that we all had. The day of the wedding Michelle came with a wedding day “emergency kit” filled with anything you could possibly need that you may have forgotten. She was at our venue the whole morning setting up the room to perfection. This allowed us to enjoy the day and spend time with our loved ones that morning. We could not have asked for a more kind and hard working planner if we tried. She wanted the day to be just as perfect as we did and took pride in all of her work. I'm a very organized individual who does a lot of planning for my job, so I originally held out on finding a planner, thinking I could do it myself. The thing is, I really could not have done what Michelle did. Not only was she organized, knowledgeable, and incredibly patient with my husband and my indecisiveness, she kept us on track in a way that never made us feel like we were falling behind. The most important vendor for your wedding

Michelle is absolutely incredible and overall an amazing human being. I had secured many of the big vendors early on and it was still one of the best decision we ever made to hire her. She relieved so much stress that no bride and groom should have to endure leading up to their special day. Her thoughtfulness, care, organization and diligence felt like she was planning her own wedding. She established a connection from day one and was always there when we needed her. She went above and beyond to make sure our wedding day was perfect.

Made our day so easy

When we first were planning our wedding for 2020, we began to get nervous about our venue's organization and how well they would execute our day. So we began looking for day of coordinators and found Michelle and Twist Six Events! Immediately we began to feel more confident and could focus on being excited for the big day. My husband and I had never actually been in a wedding before so she made sure we were thinking of every detail and had our packing lists in order. She ran our ceremony rehearsal flawlessly, reached out to all of our vendors prior to the wedding and helped to address any last minute communication week of. She worked with our venue team on wedding weekend to ensure that everything went off without a hitch. And she went the extra mile to help us with all of the little organization and details on day of that were causing a headache (like how the bride and bridesmaids would end up with their clutches/IDs etc.), making sure all floral arrived, everybody was on time and decor was going up appropriately. We're so thankful to Michelle for her help in our big day and the excitement and positivity she always brought.
