Amy was amazing the day of the event. We thought we'd have to do quite a bit of the setup, but she anticipated our needs. Every time we turned around to do something Amy had already done it. She was professional and so caring, considering our needs, and just making the day seem so easy.

Amy is wonderful to work with! She is very professional and knowledgeable in everything there is to know about weddings. She is flexible in her meeting times and is very thorough in finding out what you truly want out of your event. I was very indecisive about certain things and she was able to ask the right questions and talk me through things in order to help me figure out what it was that would truly make me happy. She helped us figure out a budget that would work and sent us in the right direction when it came to venue searching. Lastly, the week before the wedding we sat down and she helped us figure out all the small details for the day of. She was unable to be there for the day of coordination, but the preparation she helped us with made it run smoothly. She truly is a pleasure to work with and I highly recommend her to anyone who needs help with planning, whether it is a lot or a little help!

When we began to plan our wedding, we didn't really know where to start. A friend recommended Amy to help us out.

When we had our first meeting with Amy, she got us right on track with priorities-- recommending vendors that she had worked with that were within our budget, and offering creative ideas and suggestions to make our wedding our own. She was organized, professional, responsive, patient and truly AMAZING!!! We ended up going in a completely different direction with some important aspects of the wedding, and Amy helped us switch gears and get the additional quotes we needed without a hint of frustration. She was extremely easy to talk with and bounce ideas off of, and offered advice that saved us time and money. She went above and beyond helping us with the smallest details. She wasn't another vendor we were working with--she became a friend that was so excited for us every step of the way!

When the big day finally arrived, we were blessed with some unexpected rain an hour before our outdoor ceremony and reception. Amy stayed calm and in control of the situation. She organized people to get some canopies set up, and kept everything running seamlessly. I believe she even called a member of her family to pick up new tablecloths for the dinner tables that were wet from the rain, and managed to reset all of the tables during the cocktail hour. All the while, my husband and I were able to enjoy our day with our family and friends. In the days after the wedding, we even had friends who specifically mentioned what a great job our coordinator had done at the wedding.

There are so many other ways that Amy’s help made such a big difference. We are so grateful to her for being so comfortable to work with and helping make our wedding planning truly enjoyable.

Amy did a fantastic job with day-of coordination for my wedding. Although I did most of the planning myself, Amy helped me to create a day-of schedule that was very detailed and helped identify what items I had left to do. She is very organized (more so than I am!) and was a good listener and was a real pleasure to work with. My package with her included several phone call meetings to review my schedule as well as an on-site walkthrough. She also provided a typed schedule based on our phone calls, confirmed all my vendors, and gave me vendor referrals. In our conversations she helped me pin down details like my music, timing, wedding party order, and was a great sounding board for my ideas. Unfortunately, on my actual wedding day Amy ended up being very sick and at the last minute had a colleague Katie step in for her. Despite never having met me or seen the venue Katie did a great job off Amy's notes and my wedding day ran smoothly. My tables were set up correctly, the vendors were in the right spot, all the guests were directed to the right places at the the right times - I was impressed she pulled it off with so little notice. I would highly recommend Amy and her team to anyone needing a coordinator. She was excellent at communication through phone and email and was very professional.

I had a great experience with Two Red Shoes Event Planning! Amy was great with all the communication prior to the wedding. She is very detail oriented and easy to work with and the most important is she listened all my requests and even gave me feedback or recommendations how to make it better. Katie was great as well, she was the coordinator that actually came to execute everything on my wedding day, them two worked seamless that made me have no worry at all on my wedding, but to enjoyed! Everything went very smoothly as planned!!! Thank you for making all these happen for me, I received a lot of complements on my wedding from friends and family! Without Two Red Shoes, I will not have it so easy and enjoyable wedding like I would imagine.

Amy was amazing, she was there through every step of the preparation for the wedding day. She kept us organized, on track, and sane. The day of the wedding she had everything under control so we didn't have to worry about a thing. She brought food up to a private room for us. She resolved a mistake i had made during the getting ready process. She also stayed in constant contact with our photographer, DJ, Videographer, and Caterer. All and all it would not have been what it was without her, AMAZING!!

So you're engaged. Wonderful! Mazel Tov! May you be blessed with a lifetime of joy!

But before we get to that, first things first: you have a wedding to plan.

Speaking from experience, this is a prospect that can be both exciting and frightening (and occasionally nauseating). Let's take a second and think about what goes into a typical wedding. You'll need a venue, or possibly multiple venues if your ceremony and reception are in different places. Once that's booked you'll probably need to arrange some or all of the following: Food, drink, music, flowers, dresses, suits, cake, photographers, decorations, invitations, parking, hotel rooms, airfare, ground transport, and whose supposed to be taking what car to where and when. Throw in a rehearsal, a rehearsal dinner, a trip to the salon and a seating chart which seperates the cousins who have a feud running back to the last family wedding. And at this point, we are only planning things in the abstract.

Let's imagine your big day: take all the factors we've discussed, then add in all your closest family and friends plus a half dozen vendors and compress everything down into a matter of hours. There's a schedule to keep, a score of moving parts to coordinate, and a hundred potential minor crises which might need your attention. And remember, this is supposed to be fun! While all this potential chaos is going on around you, you're also hoping to look your best, feel your best, express your undying love and devotion to your spouse, and have the time of your life.

Upon reflection, its clear that pulling off even a modest wedding is a task which requires you to be part quartermaster, part drill sergeant, part ringmaster and part accountant, with a little bit of diplomat, therapist, DJ, caterer, choreographer and fashion designer thrown in the mix. I tell you this not to scare you, but to let you know that there are options available to help you cut through the crazy and make the most of your special day. One of the best wedding presents you can give to yourself is finding the right person to help you, someone who will take on responsibility and be your advocate during the whole process. Speaking from experience, choosing to have a good wedding coordinator is a wise decision.

And after making one wise decision, I suggest you make another and choose Amy to be that coordinator. Why? Because she's the best. I can only vouch for my particular wedding, but that's enough for me to make this claim with confidence.

My wife and I enjoyed a relatively laid back wedding, and we were blessed with many things: a great venue, a manageable guest list, reliable vendors, and good weather. Even with all this going for us, however, there were all sorts of potential hazards and migraines waiting out there, threatening to stress us our and sap the fun out of our special day. Luckily for us, we had Amy on our team. We asked her to coordinate our wedding, and she eagerly accepted the assignment. It turned out to be one of the most important decisions we made during the whole process as her experience and skills let us cut the stress and get the maximum enjoyment out of our celebration.

Amy is organized, hardworking and focused without being intimidating. She knew what questions to ask, what issues often come up, and how to handle any possible wild cards which are likely with an event like a wedding. She knows when to be flexible and when to be firm, and is a great point person for communicating with vendors. Most of all, she made sure our wedding was what we wanted it to be. That's her ultimate goal and she did everything possible to make it happen.

On the big day Amy was there to handle the unexpected and make sure everything went smoothly. She kept track of family and members of the wedding party and kept things on schedule. When we learned that another wedding was taking place only a stone's throw away from ours, Amy made sure that all guests got to the right party. When the cake needed to be moved or heaters put in place or the bar tab was running low or presents had to get packed up and taken home, she was there to act our our behalf and keep things running smoothly.

More than anything else, she gave us the peace of mind to let go and have a unforgettably fun day with the people who matter most to us in the world. That's what was important to us, and Amy made that a reality. We are grateful for all she did for us, and we know she will do the same for you.

Best of luck, have fun, and congrats!

I would not plan any event without the organization, creative mind and impeccable taste of Amy! She was able to listen and understand the kind of wedding we envisioned and went way above and beyond to make every aspect personal and perfect.

On top of being extremely professional, she's warm, thoughtful, genuinely cares about putting together a day that exceeds your expectations, and offers even the most stressed brides a great sense of calm from the start (which of course is not an easy task!). She is fabulous to work with--able to offer fantastic suggestions that worked with our price range while still getting a sense of our style and taste and what parts were the most important to us. I felt like I had a close friend with me throughout the entire planning process--(a close friend who coordinated vendors, put together a great timeline, and anticipated every potential wedding hurdle!)

On the day of the wedding, Amy worked her magic, constantly thought ahead and quickly (and usually unbeknownst to me or anyone else) took care of any issues that came up. She was everywhere, making sure every detail was executed as planned. We felt like we could completely relax and enjoy the day (so important!) and know that it would come together flawlessly.

I can't recommend Amy enough. She will be an invaluable part of your wedding planning process AND your special day.
