  Exactly what we wanted!

  We couldn't have been happier with our experience with UV flowers in Georgetown. Tara and her team made the experience so easy for us. We just showed her a mood board with a few photos of what we were interested in and our budget, and she talked through several options with us and how they could fit our budget and vision. The entire process was so smooth, and it felt like Tara immediately understood our vision, and was more than happy to find a way to help us achieve our vision within our budget. She was transparent and easy to work with. She was flexible with a few last minute adjustments. On the day, the flowers were EXACTLY what we had envisioned and hoped for, and everything was absolutely beautiful. The pricing was very fair and a great value, especially for DC. I would absolutely recommend working with UV Flowers for your wedding!

  Beautiful florals

  I gave UltraViolet some vague instructions about the style and colors I wanted for my bouquet and for the bridesmaids' bouquets, and they made some absolutely beautiful bouquets with the perfect colors! We were really happy with the flowers and the prices were reasonable. They also did beautiful arrangements for the church. They were great to work with because there was no minimum for ordering, and all we wanted was wedding party florals and two arrangements for the church.

  They went above and beyond!

  Not only did they provide an incredible chuppah decorated to perfection with stunning florals, they went way above and beyond to make the day perfect! I can't recommend Christian and his team enough!

  Amazing Work

  I found out about Ultra Violet because my then boyfriend (now husband) frequents their shop in Georgetown for everyday flower bouquets. We wanted to support this local business because he always loved going into the shop; their selection is always unique and service is always great. Christian and his team did an absolutely amazing job with our wedding day flowers. They listened to everything we wanted and help keep everything within our budget. Our arrangements were remarkable and mine and my bridesmaids bouquets were stunning. I'd highly recommend them to anyone looking for a florist.

  Ultraviolet Flowers DC did my wedding bouquet, two mini bouquets for my nieces and two boutonnieres (one for my husband, one for my brother-in-law). All were perfectly arranged and out of this world beautiful!

  I just got married 2 weeks ago, on July 14, 2012, at the St Regis in downtown DC. All I can say about UltraViolet is "WOW"! I'm pretty picky, I like glamorous. I worked with Nika throughout the process. First off, out of 4 bidders, Ultraviolet came out to be the cheapest.   Robin is one of the nicest people i've met in a while and she does great floral arrangements too. From day one before she even met me she was incredible responsive with her emails, very flexible, and once i visited her shop i knew it would be a great fit because her space speaks to the contemporary sensibility i so love. The second time i visited the shop with my partner was the first time i actually met Robin and she hit a home run in terms of how she took the time to connect with us and understand our vision and budget. After some discussion over a glass of white wine she agreed to create some samples for us to look and given that we lived across country she photographed her samples and emailed them and we were very pleased requesting a few adjustments that she immediately agreed to demonstrating great flexibility. On the day of our wedding she was there earlier than our agreed time and worked closely with our wedding planner to ensure that evening was properly place and even before the wedding she showed us some love by sending a beautiful arrangement to our room the day we checked into the hotel. We cannot say enough nice things about Robin and beautiful arrangements she prepared for us. If you need a flowers that is skilled, responsive and who genuinely takes the time to understand you vision, she is your person!

  I visited several florists before deciding on Ultraviolet. Rance Goff, the event florist, is such a creative person, with not only an eye for design but overall problem solving. Although it was not directly related to the floral decor, he helped us so much in planning out the use of space at our reception, and really worked with us in helping us find a solution to our space problems, rather than taking the easy way out (which the hotel - the Mandarin Oriental - was trying to do). We really appreciated his flexibility in all aspects of his services; he is a true professional. He came up with fresh ideas for all the flowers, and they turned out just as we had discussed. If you are looking for an innovative floral professional, do not hesitate to consider Ultraviolet.

  During my meeting Dave at UltraViolet I knew he really understood our vision for the wedding. He made great suggestions on types of flowers based on the inspiration photos I provided and had great ideas for making the flower girls' flowers more sturdy and putting magnets on the boutonnieres so pins weren't needed. I was completely confident that what he came up with would match our vision and I was right. On the day of the wedding he was obsessed with making my bouquet perfect before he would leave. We did end up short a table centerpiece for some reason, but the flowers were absolutely gorgeous- both the tall and low centerpieces. And I hated having to leave my bouquet behind to leave for the honeymoon!
