  Best Wedding Planner Ever!

  Hire Melissa. Best decision you'll ever make for your wedding. She's a rock star! She’ll go out of her way to make this the best day of your life. She got our style right away. We were going for a sweet, rustic charm. She came out and met us (even before we hired her!) to show us around her favorite venue because she thought it would be perfect for us. She was right! She connected us with vendors who matched out style and personalities while keeping to our budget. She came up with décor ideas and helped us stay on track, which was super helpful because we had so much going on at the time. We really didn’t have the time to hunt down vendors. She came up with our center pieces and let us borrow a lot of things from her, like lanterns and log slices. She had great advice about everything and was always available if you had a question or thought. She really helped us brainstorm and come up with the best wedding for us, incorporating all our geeky details into her rustic décor (we got married on Pi Day, after all). She made the day magical. And you don’t only get planning help, she helps day of, too! Hire her. Seriously, why are you still here? She’s worth every penny.

  Amazing Wedding

  Melissa and her team did a wonderful job decorating the venue for our wedding and made sure things were going as planned. Everything looked great and our wedding was amazing because of them.

  Over the moon about them!

  Melissa, Georgia, and the close-knit group of people that work together at Under the Moon Events were such a joy!! We decided we needed help from a day-of coordinator about 2 months before our wedding, and Melissa clicked with us from phone call #1. She and Georgia went above and beyond day-of-services and made sure they had everything we/they needed before the event: decor and boxes to transport materials, communication with all vendors, and they even came to our tasting! Their previous experience working in the events industry was so evident on our wedding with an MVP run to search for a missing slideshow USB and flawless coordinating with the kitchen and venue staff. I only heard about these after the wedding! I was a blissfully oblivious bride and had the best time at my wedding. I will be finding an excuse to have another planned event so I can hang out with these folks again! THANK YOU!

  We are planning a wedding on a tight budget and Melissa has been nothing but wonderful since day one. After drowning in a sea of venues and numbers, Melissa worked with us to figure out exactly what we wanted and make it work perfectly within our means. She is accommodating, professional and an absolute pleasure to work with. She knows everything about the wedding world and is greeted with open arms by every vendor we have had the pleasure to work with. We would hire her again in an instant!

  Best Coordinator EVER

  I can confidentially say, I would not have had a wedding without Melissa. From helping me locate vendors within my budget, breaking down contract language, guiding me with timeline goals and even surprising me with flawless decor, she was calm, cool, collected - everything I was not. I would wake up in the middle of the night with thoughts, panics, what-ifs, and would shoot off texts not expecting replies right away, but nope, within minutes I had answers, reassurance, and brilliant solutions. Melissa honestly was the brains and the muscle of my wedding, so day of, all I had to do was show up. I cannot recommend her enough.

  A Wonderful Wedding Planner – with great results!

  We absolutely recommend Under the Moon Events – Melissa is simply the best wedding planner! She is friendly, warm and easy to work with. She was full of brilliant ideas and has great connections and working relationships with all the best vendors. Over more than four months, everything my husband and I needed to know about our fall wedding reception, Melissa had the answers, making all of our decisions easier. She spent lots of time with us in person and responding to emails, texts and phone calls, tirelessly working on all the small, often overlooked, details and planning – and even back-up planning – all while helping us stay within our budget! She gently took charge and kept us calm so that when the wedding day arrived, all our guests were very happy and obviously enjoyed our evening reception . . . which turned out exactly as we hoped! We feel fortunate to have hired such a professional wedding coordinator and an amazing person as Melissa!

  Best Money we Spent

  From the very first day- even before we hired them- Melissa (of Under the Moon Events) was finding me ways to save money and achieve our vision for our wedding. Melissa's enthusiasm for our wedding was rivaled to our own.
  Weddings are expensive, it is no secret. I had been looking for every way to keep costs down. If it could be DIY, that is how I was doing it. That being said, I was hesitant to hire one more vendor when I could probably do it myself. I laugh at that sentiment now as the memory of standing in our processional line echoes through my head. Melissa was wrangling the half drunk wedding parties which could only be compared to herding cats and my now-husband leaned over to me and whispered "she is the best money we spent today."
  Working with Melissa was an absolute pleasure. Her enthusiasm and excitement for the wedding rivaled our own. She was extremely communicative and easy to work with. She was extremely accommodating and flexible when it came to working with my alternative schedule. She presented information in an easy to read and easy to reference format. Through out the process she had made an assessment of my husband, myself, our personalities and our vision for the day and formed the absolute best team to make things go off without a hitch. If anything did go wrong that day, I didn't know about it- which on your wedding day is the way you want it. We are so grateful to have had Under the Moon Events on our team for our wedding, we could not have asked for anything better.

  I was so relieved when my friend recommended me to Melissa. As a bride planning her wedding from a different state, I was extremely stressed. But from the first phone call I had with Melissa, we immediately liked each other and there was an obvious peace in my heart that Melissa was the right person to help me plan my big day. She was extremely responsive, professional, friendly and had great experiences in wedding planning. We communicated over email and phone for a few months before I could make a visit to meet her. During those months, she never failed to make me feel at peace that she was taking care of things I asked her to do and always kept me posted on everything we discussed, even when she was busy. My family and our guests had wonderful things to say about her and her assistant Justin. I was very excited to meet her for the first time and we felt like we had already known each other for a long time. I had to travel for my wedding day and Melissa was so helpful and made things go as easily for me as she could. My wedding day was perfect and it could not have happened successfully without her. My now husband and I are grateful to her and highly recommend her to anyone who is looking for an event coordinator with a reasonable price. I am sure that you will not be disappointed.

  We were so fortunate to be Melissa's first event with her new business venture! Melissa and her team made sure EVERY detail in our crazy wedding plan was executed just as we had envisioned...and we had LOTS of details! She and Justin were there from the time we arrived to decorate at 8:30 on Saturday morning....and they were STILL there loading the truck when we left at 10:30 that night.
  
  Melissa sat with us and went over every idea we had...and after being together for almost 13 years....you can bet we had a bunch of ideas. She worked with all of our vendors, from the caterer to the jazz quartet, to the band, to the late night food deliveries. Melissa is not one of those "stand there with a clipboard and boss people around" kind of coordinators. She and her team were "hands on, do whatever it takes to get the job done" folks...and they were so very FUN to work with throughout the entire process.
  
  If you are looking for a wedding coordinator who will share YOUR vision for your day - and not try to force her vision on you - and a coordinator who will do whatever it takes to make sure your details come to life on your big day - then Melissa and Under the Moon Events should be your first - and last - stop!
