  Shawn was great!

  Shawn did a fantastic job at our annual Benefit & Auction. He had the crowd dancing all night, and was kind enough to play an encore song after his set when the crowd was chanting "one more song!" We will definitely be using Shawn again.

  Best DJ hands down!

  Professional, punctual, versatile, current the adjective can go on for ever. The best DJ I have ever heard. My wedding was diverse and he had everyone saying that this was the wedding of the year.

  Knows how to keep people dancing!

  Shawn and his team were absolutely wonderful to work with! Not only were they easy to communicate with ahead of the event but they were prompt for set up, sound check and of course the evening festivities. Shawn kept the crowd excited, engaged and constantly on their feet, what more could you ask for from a DJ!

  Great music and communication!

  Shawn was wonderful! Responsive to emails and calls before the wedding, Shawn also found excellent west African music to play (my wife’s family is Cameroonian and we needed makosa!).

  Music is a huge component of any successful celebration. We choose Universal MCs & DJs for my 60th Birthday Celebration. Since there were guests of different ages, different cultures and different stages of their lives, the DJ selection was even more important. Shawn and Kelvin amazed my husband and me with their personal touch for our preferences - they dazzled our guests with a mixture of Latin, R & B and Caribbean music. Everyone had a Fantastic Time!   I've had the pleasure of working with Shawn on several occasions. When it came to my nuptials there was no question who I wanted to handle my music. They were AWESOME! The dance floor was packed during dance music and dinner time music was on point. Shawn you are the best!!!

  My Fiancé and I met with Kelvin and Shawn and we were sold at first meet! The professionalism and customer service was amazing! We met with them just over a month before our wedding (8.25.16) in that meeting we talked about budget, likes, dislikes. They completely understood the vision we had for our wedding ceremony and reception. On the day of they showed up early and ready to get the party started! Our MC Manny was hilarious and truly a master and what he does. Included in our package was the Photo Booth which was a major hit !! I could literally go on and on about how great our day was thanks to these guys!! They will be our DJs for life, more like family now!!

  I contacted Shawn a year and a half before my wedding. I did not hire a wedding planner so I knew I had to do my research and book early. Shawn was very professional from the very first email i sent him . I read his previous reviews and I knew I would be in good hands, of course I was still a nervous wreck. I even started to follow him on Instagram after we booked him LOL. Shawn came to our home for our first meeting and he explained a lot of details i did not know about how our reception should flow. I am from Belize and my husband is from Trinidad so we were worried about the music. Shawn requested a list of songs we would like to be played and he blended them perfectly. Shawn suggested we use an MC and the MC he provided did an AMAZING JOB, Mr. Marco had our guest laughing and ready to party. Our guest said they have not been to such a great wedding in a long time and were requesting Shawn’s info after the wedding :). All my Brides to Be … look no further Shawn will gives you the best and it will be a night you and your guest will never forget.
  Our wedding was amazing but one thing that stood out the most with my interaction with Shawn was him reaching out to me during a personal loss I suffered. He was not only professional in helping us prepare for our big day he was also a friend during a difficult time.

  I highly recommend Universal DJ's and MC's. Mr. Shawn was a pleasure to work with. Universal DJ's insured the appropriate music was played for our Daddy Daughter Dance. The Entertainer was Great and kept our party going. I am definitely going to contract this company for my future parties.

  Universal MC's & DJ's created an absolutely AMAZING karaoke event for my office holiday party! We had about 70 people in a large studio space, and Shawn and his team created an upbeat, lively environment with excellent music choices and a professional karaoke setup. Before the party even ended, my co-workers were already saying to me that it was the absolute best office holiday party that we've ever had! Everyone had a fabulous time - mostly because of the highly talented and professional work of Universal MC's & DJ's! And this was not my first experience with Universal MC's & DJ's - I first met Shawn when my husband and I chose him to be the DJ at our wedding five years ago - and his music and lighting was so fantastic that every single person at our 150 person wedding was up on the dance floor! And, since then, we've hired him to be the DJ at a large house party, and we also recommended him for several other weddings in our family. I would very highly recommend Universal MC's & DJ's to anyone for a wedding, holiday party or any other celebratory event! They are first class, all the way!

  Shawn aka Dj SureShot came highly recommended by a good friend and he was EXCELLENT! I am Puerto Rican and my husband is Jamaican. Shawn was able to find a happy medium between salsa, reggae, party hits, and r&b. The dancefloor was full ALL NIGHT LONG with guests of all ages. Any Dj who can accomplish that with such a diverse crowd is worth every penny. He was very professional and improvised FLAWLESSLY and beautifully when I failed to give him the proper information, song choices, etc. I have no idea how he managed, but he was seamless. I will be using him for all of my events from here out.

They had my guests (young to old) and I on the dance floor all day long which shows that they were really in tune with the crowd. Universal MC & DJs made every little event of the reception so much fun. Whether it was the music, our entrance, garter removal, garter toss, bouquet toss or floral arrangement giveaway, they put a special spin on everything which kept my guests entertained. They really exceeded my expectations from the wedding ceremony till the end of the reception. My husband and I are still receiving so many compliments on the great music and fun wedding, which should all be credited to Universal MC & DJ (DJ Sureshot & MC Marco).
  
  In addition to the music and entertainment of the wedding, DJ Sure Shot was very professional, courteous and always assisted me with any questions or concerns I had. He made the process of planning the entertainment portion of my wedding very seamless. I will absolutely will be using them again in the future.

  He was great! A wonderful and successful party. Listened to requests, was prepared, dressed appropriately, arrived early and was very personable. We took pictures with him because he was so great and wanted to capture the moment. Will definitely use him in all our upcoming events and highly recommend him to others.

  Absolutely hands down the best vendor we had dealt with. He played to the crowd in a way that is impossible to describe. If anyone asks me, going forward, if we would recommend a dj, I would recommend without a moments hesitation. Thank you very much for being a part of our celebration!

  I had a very good experience with this vendor. Shawn was very responsive to my e-mails and answered my questions promptly the entire time leading up to the wedding. He was also very professional and helped us when we needed some equipment for the ceremony. Shawn was very flexible and added some last minute requests. He also had a good feel for when to play different song on my playlist. The MC was really fantastic. He got the crowd going and spontaneously organized group dances, which worked out really well for the crowd. I'm not really into group dances like the electric slide, but he organized something I found to be fun and not cheesy. The MC even did some break dancing, which was an added crowd pleaser.

  Shawn was amazing!!! We had such a great time at the wedding and every guest was up and dancing, all 220 of them :) He was so nice throughout the whole planning process. Two of my friends at my wedding already called him to set him up as the dj at their weddings. You will not be disappointed!

  I highly recommend Shawn Keitt and Universal DJs. They worked so well to meet our needs. Until this dya people are still asking me about our DJ and their rates. We cam to Shaw with a ton of international songs and he miraculously supplied us with them all. He has a phenomenal lighting system that sets the atmosphere and matches your color theme. He set up his system effortlessly and quickly. His prices are very reasonable. I trusted him with my style of music and he absolutely delivered. He was kind to those who came up for music requests. Please please call Universal Mcs to see if they're a good fit for you. I will definitely have him at our next function and the next wedding i decide to plan for a loved one.

I had absolutely no worries about the music/entertainment for my wedding.
